Clean hotel with friendly check in staff. Nice king size room with kitchenette. Continental breakfast was full and laid out well. But the butter was in the fridge

SO and I stayed overnight since my company was hosting an event at Loudoun One. Check-in was a breeze, lobby was clean and bright, attendant was nice and engaging. Elevator ride up to the 5th floor was smooth. Upon entering our room we both just stared....where's the rest of the room? This is definitely the smallest room we've ever stayed in, but it's clean. The reviews that speak to the sparseness and dorm vibe are accurate. No amenities. The room is good for an overnight stay, IMHO, that's it. No hot water in the sink and shower, just warm, sigh. Walls are paper thin. They really deserve three*s but gave them four *s because front desk was extremely nice, room was clean, just not our norm and the SO really liked the hand soap and lotion.

West of Dulles in a town center. Flight cancelled and ended up here about 10 miles from the airport. Staff was friendly, empathetic and got me a room! Pool table is open for use. Local wine sold (Well Hung Vineyards). Room with confidence enhancing shampoo. Breakfast included.

Stay here if you like bed bugs with your complimentary breakfast! I meant to write this review a few months ago, but with all the back-and-forth, I completely forgot. Or, maybe I just blacked out & wished it never happened. Long story short - I stayed here Sept 29th to Oct 1st. My sister was getting married at the Birkby House in Leesburg, VA, about 10min away. This hotel seemed perfect because of the location so they booked a block of rooms for the wedding. Everything was fine during the stay but once I checked out and started my long drive back to my home, I noticed a rash on my neck. I assumed it was from a new necklace I had worn & thought it was allergies especially since I have very sensitive skin. A few hours later, the bumps were more developed and stretched down my neck, to my chest, in a line. After lots of research and seeing a physician at my job, they confirmed it was bed bugs and told me I needed to wash everything I was in contact with while at the hotel and once I got home. I called the hotel and they were unhelpful, as expected. I expected way more from a Hilton brand hotel, but the manager never returned any of my calls. They put someone in the room even when I called the following day to let them know they had bed bugs. To make things even worse, another person in the bridal party had the same thing happen to her. She had bites up and down her thigh and couldn't get in touch with anyone at the hotel. After weeks of going back and forth, I gave up and promised myself I will never stay at another Hilton property. They provide terrible customer service and don't train their management staff to resolve issues. Bed bugs are already hard to spot with the naked eye, but apparently if the cleaning staff doesn't see them, they don't exist.

Gibberish on soap dispensers. Cheapo look and feel.

It's alright. Nothing special. I've become a bit of a hotel snob over my corporate years. I now only travel for adventure / pleasure / quick getaways. This one of those budget-ey minimalist brands that substitutes luxury for quirk. It the new trend of hard flooring (instead of carpeting), garish room accents and colors, and drawer-less / closet- less storage. No carpets means significantly more noise pollution from adjoining rooms. I can deal will hooks instead of closets and shelf instead of drawers. It not an attractive look once you've unpacked and spread out, but as long as you don't have guests stop by, the disheveled chaos of your room is manageable. Room is clean, hotel has unremarkable amenities. I would place this brand slightly below Marriott's ALOFT brand. Aloft is a better overall experience (and is less expensive). Also, found this very strange bathroom amenity. Reminds you of being in Asia and seeing gibberish English on advertisement / shirts and what not. I honestly thought this brought the overall score down. Just feels "cheap" - see photo. Probably would not return since there are several other area hotels that offer significantly more "coolness" for less rate. ONLY advantage is that it's close to One Loudoun eating / shopping. Easy to stumble home after a night of debauchery.

This is a new hotel in the rapidly growing Ashburn area. New features, colorful decor, friendly staff, good place to lay your head. I didn't give 5 stars for two reasons: 1. the rooms are small, and there was no closet or cabinet to place clothes, just a shelf over the refrigerator and a bar to hang items. 2. The breakfast was subpar. I know it's a hotel, but a straight continental breakfast may have been better. Again, those are my reasons for the rating. HOWEVER, I would stay here again because of the service I received and the cleanliness of the room. I definitely recommend.

I arrived at 10:30 pm on Friday March 8th and had previously checked in on the Hilton app. My assigned room was 204, upon arriving at the front desk I was informed by Ron that my room was 220. I let him know the app has me checked in for 204. At that time he called 204 to confirm that there was a guest in there, which there was, and then called 220 and received no answer. He escorted us up to 220 and upon opening the door we found that there was another guest in the room, who rightfully so was upset being walked in on a little after 11pm. From my stand point, mine and my son's safety was compromised had I directly proceeded to the room assigned in the app and my key worked on 204, I could have potentially been attacked as well as walking in on the guest in 220. We now trekked back down stairs for Ron to call Erik the hotel manager. He called 220 and got the guests name, only to write it down wrong. Checks the system, finds no guest with that name, calls Erik back. Then Erik requested to be transferred to 220 to request this guest to come down, mind you there's training opportunities for Ron and Jon because it took them 5 minutes to figure out how to transfer a call. Ron is asking Jon and he's just trying random buttons on the phone. The guest then comes down very upset, rightfully so, but also happens to be one of my son's teammates parents, who then shouts at me when I try to calmly explain what Ron can't. He calms and then proceeded to go back to his room. Ron still trying to figure out the guest name writing it down again wrong, needed help, so I had to spell out this man's name. He checks the system to find out his room is also not correct. But the guest in 220 had not stopped at the desk at check in cause, he as well, went right to his room designated on the app. All the while Ron is mumbling that he doesn't know what to do and that your hotel is sold out for the night. Ron then tells me to wait in the lobby until he sorts this out. Thankfully a solution was found but I didn't get to a room until almost 12:30 am. I was stressed trying to call other hotels in case we had to pack up and head somewhere else. My son and I were tired, we had just traveled 4 hours and had to be at the soccer fields for 7am. We just wanted to get to the hotel, check in and get some rest before the morning. That unfortunately did not happen. I was told that the manager was going to speak to call me the next day and that did not happen. I spoke to an assistant manager the next afternoon after returning to the check in desk, who offered to comp one nights stay and said that the best she can offer me. She honestly didn't even seem apologetic but just this was all I can do. I know for a fact the manager promptly responded to emails from the guest in 220 and offered him 20,000 points in addition to one night stay refunded. I spent two hours in a lobby, in addition to going to a room with guests already situated which could have been potentially much more detrimental. It is now Wednesday and the manager has refused to answer my email, I called the hotel and was able to speak to him. He is refusing to offer a full refund for my stay for the inconvenience and is also refusing at the bare minimum to offer the same 20,000 points to that he offered to the guest I walked in on, stating that he was already asleep in his room and his safety was compromised more than mine and my sons. Erik's customer service skills are subpar, he callous and arrogant, definitely lacks compassion. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.

I am well traveled, and stay exclusively with Hilton Hotel brands when available. This was our first experience with Tru and I have to ask who came up with this concept? Firstly we booked with the app and for some reason they don't guarantee you anything but a room, no options to select room type or feature, or descriptions to let you know what the rooms have to offer. The room we were given was to accommodate the handicapped, (probably because that's all they had) the room has absolutely no creature comfort items. The closet is a sliver, you hang clothes on the outside and inside, and somehow must also find a place for your shoes. Then there are coat hooks (like rows of them) to hang other things, not sure I'll need to hang six jackets.... It comes with the tiniest refrigerator, so don't bring home leftovers if you're on an extended stay, there's no where to put them and the room has no microwave. To reiterate, there is no functional furniture. There's a bench under the TV (not exactly useable if you're over two foot tall), a tiny table to hold the tiny refrigerator, a single tiny table/nightstand, and a college dorm style desk. There is no place for luggage, no rack or caddy, so mine now sits on the floor. Literally there is the bed and one singular chair. I do have two positive notes; 1. the soaps are amazing here, 2. the amount of food and drink to purchase at front desk is more than generous. This is set up really like a college dorm and not suitable for long term stay. Disappointing because it's not cheap either. We will absolutely never book with a Tru again. Final note, don't expect hot coffee or water for tea unless it's first thing in the morning for breakfast, the staff does not change out the urns on regular intervals, Sorry Hilton Tru is truly a disappointment..... ***adding to this post having complained to management and Hilton Corp. We were told the property manager would review the case and see if we could be transferred to another Hilton brand hotel, We were told we'd be contacted within 48 hours... no such luck. Meanwhile we now have upstairs neighbors being extremely loud. On duty night front desk has been called twice and said she would take care of the situation. This made the situation worse and noises got louder, so much so we could hear our neighbor next to us call as well... yes that's right we could hear the conversation between walls along with a very loud game playing from another direction. I CANNOT BE ANYMORE CLEAR: this place is awful!!!! Do not expect sleep while staying here either!***

The hotel is what I would call a boutique hotel actually. The lobby and common areas are smallish, the hotel is impeccably clean and though older appears to be well kept. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable. The room did feel dated, from the stark red ascent walls, older carpet and the older lamps to the decommissioned HVAC unit still in the room. We did find the couch to be newer and very comfortable. The design and placement of the furniture throughout the suite was thoughtful and created ease in movement. As our stay was short, we did not have use for the well appointed kitchen. We did not spend much time is the hotel nor enjoy the numerous amenities, however we would not hesitate to stay here again.

I'm a frequent business traveler and stayed here for three nights on my way home from Europe. The carpets and walls were stained, our couch was stained, it just looked tired. The biggest issue, I believe, is that they must accept or be forced to accept hotel vouchers. I worked in the room while I was there during the day and my fellow residents were smoking by every exit, lots of cursing and loitering everywhere shoeless and toothless. I know this may be the minority of residents, but, that is what I saw coming and going every day.

Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!

Being my first time didn't keep the friendly staff from asking how I was, where I was visiting from, and whether I needed anything. We stayed here for three nights for a family member's wedding. overall we had an okay stay here,…read morebut there were several things that made this a hotel I would not choose if I were in the area again. First, it is an older hotel, but the entire lobby area was still nice. You could tell the room we were in was older, but everything was clean. The beds were a bit worn with the mattresses a bit too soft, and the toilet always seemed uncertain if it was going to flush completely. The shower was great though. I did get only one use of the body wash in the shower before it was empty which tells me that housekeeping was not on top of checking and refilling it. To me that's a small thing that makes a huge difference. Oh, at least three of us, in three different rooms, had issues with our key cards randomly deactivating too. The man that we checked in with was very friendly, but the service, otherwise, was not great. One morning, our family member done the hall woke up to find that someone had vomited outside their hotel room overnight. They called the front desk to ask someone to clean it up, and first it took at least an hour, maybe more, before someone came. Then when they did, they seemed to clean it with just water and then put a fan to dry it. This made it smell horribly all throughout the hall as well as in my family member's room. I don't even have a strong sense of smell but it was intense even for me. We happened to be in the room all morning and afternoon, as we were getting hair and makeup done for the wedding, so it was something we dealt with the whole time. They came maybe an hour later and added some baking soda to the carpet but it didn't help. I'm not sure why they didn't use an actual cleaner that could maybe have covered that scent. As far as I know, there was also no compensation offered for this gross inconvenience which would have been obvious to anyone walking by. Breakfast was very confusing and disorganized. Our reservations came with the breakfast. It was a seat yourself kind of situation with a buffet. But the server was still supposed to bring drinks. The first morning, my daughter and I ended up with drinks because our family members had arrived before us and were one of the only ones in the room at the time. The second morning I had no interaction from a server, and we had to track them down for a drink as well as follow up when they continued to do other things, seemingly forgetting our drinks. The third morning was the same. This time I was offered a drink, but then after she walked around handing out a bunch of drinks and went back to working at the bar, I had to go ask for our drinks again. Keeping in mind that breakfast doesn't necessarily come with the stay but you can pay for breakfast, it seems the servers should have been that much more on top of making sure all the guests were taken care of. Also, interestingly, when served, orange juice was automatically given, but I was never able to find water anywhere. Two of our family members chose to use the shuttle to go from the airport to the hotel. Despite being 10-15 min away, they waited over an hour to be picked up. There was apparently a reputation, as noted by the other shuttles from other hotels, that this one has to be called and can take a while. Given all these pros and cons, it would be okay to stay here if you just needed a place to sleep but not if you're looking for great hospitality.

Terrific greeting at front desk - we always feel welcome at this hotel. You'd never know Dulles Int'l Airport is nearby! Hotel offers a nice breakfast (bonus: Starbucks is nearby!), and while dinner offers a somewhat limited menu, it is perfect for guests arriving late-ish and not wanting to hunt for a nearby restaurant. Parking is not overly abundant, but there is always a space available.

From the moment you walk in, the warm lighting and calm, elegant setting create a true retreat feeling--relaxing, intimate, and perfectly set up for an unforgettable dinner. We started with the baked brie, and it was the perfect opener. Warm, creamy, and beautifully rich, it had that comforting, indulgent feel without being too heavy. It was the kind of appetizer that makes you pause after the first bite and think, "Okay, this is going to be special." We also shared a salad that was far better than any "starter salad" has a right to be. The greens were crisp and fresh, but the real surprise was the croutons--light, buttery, and so tender they practically melted in your mouth. Every bite felt balanced, simple in the best way, and clearly made with care. For the main course, we ordered the chicken under brick and the scallops risotto, and both were genuinely memorable. The chicken under brick had a beautifully crisp exterior, with juicy, tender meat underneath--full of flavor and cooked exactly right. The scallops were seared perfectly, with that delicate golden crust and soft, buttery center. Paired with the creamy risotto, it felt luxurious and comforting at the same time. It was the kind of dish you keep talking about afterward because it is that good. Dessert somehow raised the bar even more. The chocolate tart was rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying--pure indulgence. The fruit tart was fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced, with a delicate crust and vibrant flavors that made it feel light and refreshing after such an incredible meal. Both desserts were truly delicious and the perfect ending. The service matched the food and atmosphere: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every interaction made the night feel even more special, and it never felt rushed--just warm and thoughtful from start to finish. And a special mention to our waitress, Rae--the most pleasant, kind, accommodating, and positive soul you can find. Her smiling welcome immediately put us at ease and made us feel so happy to be there. She truly elevated the entire experience. If I can give this place seven stars, I would!
