I unplugged the fridge and shut the bathroom door; I didn't bother alerting the to these issues given my initial experience at checkin. It's nice that they have a pool but it was so heavily chlorinated that my skin started itching and tingling about five minutes in. Given the plethora of other hotels in that area, I wouldn't bother with this one, especially at that price point.

The problem, they charged me for the room because I didn't give them 24 hours notice I was leaving early. I was not told this when I called down and their website under info does not say this. I have left early from hotels many times, and this is the first time I've been charged for it. When I booked the room, they spend a lot of time explaining no early check in, but not one mention that they charge if you leave a day early and don't give them 24 hour notice.

I was driving and hit a nasty rainstorm where I could barely see the road and averaged 33 mph for an hour. I pulled over at Sidney NE and tried to call the hotel twice to cancel but couldn't get through. It was 8pm and I had already checked the weather ahead at this point and it was supposed to continue until midnight that night. I wasn't willing to risk lives just to get to a hotel late that night. I called Priceline because I made the reservation through them, and they made TWO failed attempts at getting a refund for me. I couldn't even get a partial refund because it was after 7 pm. Excuse me for not being able to make a call when I am battling a torrential downpour and unable to hear!! Anyway, someone named Mike was the person who rejected my request. THANKS FOR NOTHING MIKE!!! SORRY I can't control the weather!! Big thanks to Best Western Plus at Sidney NE for the comfy night's stay when my family needed it!
