Had a great stay. Vijay at the front desk was extremely professional and accommodating. Breakfast had a lot of options as well.

The room was clean and tidy, no foul or odd smells. The HVAC system had a contstant-on setting, which we like. The room was quiet, and we could not hear neighbors or outside traffic. The shower provided plenty of hot water with no fluctuations. The only ding I have is the ice machine; we stayed on the second floor, and the ice machine is located on the first floor. Not a huge deal, but keep that in mind. We did not use the pool, and we technically didn't get downstairs in time for breakfast. (Although, we got downstairs just after breakfast ended, and there was still plenty of food available.) We'd have no trouble spending another night here again, anytime!

Awful. I'll give two stars because the sheets seemed clean and the breakfast was good. I can't…read moreconfirm the cleanliness though. The beds may have been remade after the last guests instead of stripped and changed. None of the ice machines worked. The pool was "closed until further notice due to maintenance issues". Who knows how long they've been closed. Floors could definitely be cleaner. $149 for one night is wild for this level of disappointment. My friend and I were traveling on motorcycles though and needed somewhere to rest on our way back to NY where we live. Not good.

Sons of American Revolution Conference site…read more We have greatly enjoyed National Conferences in US from Boston to San Francisco, and it is a joy to attend the Sons of American Revolution Conference at Sauder's Village in Archbold. Always something about hotel lobbies, fireplaces, and good friends that is satisfying. The Friday night buffet is BBQ, and following a week of Great Smokies's dining, we were eager to enjoy "German style" meals. Brisket was better than southern; pulled pork had no flavor; ribs were burned; great salad bar; very few veggies. Rustic-style hotel located within the Sauder Village complex, featuring an indoor pool with a waterfall, complimentary hot breakfast, and charming timber-frame architecture. Hotel is on par with nice Ohio State Park property. Our room was a suite - large inclusive living room with Great Bed. Also a special sun room is attached. Great services and service folks. Caveat: avoid rooms in pool area; we like children, but even one high pitched voice fills an area. Highly recommend.

I wasn't used to the bed, but I was able to get some sleep. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo and conditioner. They do have soap and lotion as well. There is no coffee machine in the room, but free coffee can be found in the kitchen area by the big tree. The Inn provides free breakfast. They had food items such as bagels, waffles, muffins, fruit, cereal, and more. I don't usually like breakfast at hotels so I did not each much. Additionally, there is a pool area with a hot tub. They also have a game room. I didn't get a chance to go to the game room. They do have rooms you can rent for events. We saw a crafting event and a wedding while we were here. Overall, this is an awesome Inn and I enjoyed my time. I would like to revisit with my family.

This place has bed bugs and I have pictures for proof…read more. I've already sent a review but it has magically conveniently disappeared. Not typing it all again but I will say bed bugs beware and I caught the couple that runs it in a lie that they didn't know they had them then they later admitted they knew but that they only put "druggie" looking people in those rooms. On top of that I got charged a 22 dollar cancellation fee for canceling like they just expected me to stay in their infestation of a motel. Stay away.. bad business.

Broken windows When…read morewe arrived to our room we noticed the windows in our room were broken. Went to office and asked for another room Mgr said we would have to downgrade our room. We went and looked at room 2 and found a folding table outside the door of room 2 with chairs and ashtrays all over. Open the door and the smoke smell was horrible. Went back and told him that room wasn't acceptable and Mgr said "this is a local motel, what do you expect a Holiday Inn?" Due to medical issues and the fact that we had been on the road traveling for over 18 hours and had dogs with us we ended up staying in the first room with the broken windows and spiderwebs/dirt since we couldn't find another hotel in town that would accept 2 large dogs. The Mgr also overcharged us the pet fee. The Choice website stated $15/pet and he tried to charge $20. He finally said " I guess you need the money worst than we do" and refunded the overcharge. We will definitely never return and would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Not the most attractive motel ever but don't judge a book by its cover. This place is pretty dated…read morebut is one of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed in. The owner/manger is pretty hard to read and seems pretty grumpy but holy cow did he hook me up with one of the best military discounts ever!!! I stayed in this motel for about a week and spent less than I would have for one night at a snootie hotel that wouldn't have been anywhere near as clean. The owner of this establishment defiantly shows his support for the troops. Even if you are paying full price the rooms aren't a bad deal. If all you need is a place to rest your head that is nice and clean then this is the motel for you.

YELP won't let me do less than one star. Four day stay ...there was NEVER anyone in the office. Just a # to call and a 5 minute interlude....... The "resident" ? children playing in the blow-up pool out back UNATTENDED was just the tip of their antic's. If I could add pictures......... The bird nest in the WALL under the AC unit was a natural wake-up call. I am promted to add more. OK The bath linens were thread BARE. On a positive note there was enough hot water, TOO HOT if not careful. Talked to a FCS Deputy..... one of their least favorite addresses to respond to.
