All of their pork looked gray today, everything said sell by tomorrow. Chicken looks gross. Pork tenderloin looks old. Lettuce is 4.99 a head! Butchers are rude and don't care. Selection of available items is great but the management is a bit racist and unprofessional. Every single time I go into there store I always get harassed while the management is coordinating the harassment. This is one of many establishments within the area that causes issues for minority groups. read more

This local chain knows how to take advantage of the customer service aspect while maintaining a certain quality level to appeal to everyone. The staff was nice and considerate, so it has a local feel to the store, while the market is also fairly modern and orderly. The prices at the market seem pretty good and the quality of the produce was apparent. I'm not in the area, but if I were, I'd come here for my groceries. read more

Just stopped by the supermarket in Middleboro today. I was going to cook some pasta,chicken and Alfredo for myself. Well I boiled the pasta, heated up the chicken then open the sauce. Let's see it was green under the cap. Totally gross and a waste of pasta and chicken. I'd love to add photos cause the jar doesn't expire till 1/2024. Seems like the cap was tight. read more

In my perennial search for quick, reasonably priced lunches close to my work site, I found this smaller community grocery store, and my first impression was quite positive. There is a large parking lot and at lunch time their deli and self-service salad and hot food buffet areas were rapidly accessible and everything was very clean and fresh-looking. For lunch I chosed a Greek chicken salad plate with a bottle of water for $2.99! And I bought a pound of freshly store-made peanut butter for $3.29. Always clean with excellent customer service. Prices are better that their competition. They have unusual and useful items that you wouldn't always find in a large chain grocery store. I find that I save money shopping there and kick myself if I ever have to buy groceries (in a pinch) someplace else. read more

I'm a little biased because I grew up here but to me Trucchi's is the quintessential grocery store. I'm not a big West Bridgewater person (I live in LA now) but damn, every time I go to a grocery store nowadays it fails to compare to this behemoth. Trucchi's is clean, well-stocked, and it's got everything you could possibly need. Yeah, Market Basket is literally down the street from this place and you can't beat those prices, but Trucchi's has a humility to it that I want when I go to a grocery store. When I'm buying food for myself, I just want to think about the food I'm getting and the joy it brings me, and Trucchi's greatly enhanced buying food for me. Thanks, Trucchis. : ) read more

Trucchi's is a local chain that (I believe) was originated in Taunton. They are very much a local store, they don't have a mega-corporation feel to them. They have a good selection, but not as varying as Mega-super-plex-mart. Pricing is excellent, one of the cheapest I've been to. They also don't subscribe to the "member card" B.S. that the bigger stores do. Everyone pays the same price. Great place to spend your money. read more

This is a nice super market. It's a lot bigger than the Abington store and has a larger selection of foods. The store is always clean and there never seems to be a huge crowd of people when i go in. I always find good deals at the Truccis stores. If you are in the area I would suggest stopping to get your food here. read more

The store itself is ok, pretty well stocked and reasonable for a smaller supermarket. It's clean enough, not a bad bakery. The customer service is very poor though. Not smart and choose to make life easy for themselves vs their customers. I went in just prior to a snowstorm, did my shopping and put a bunch of groceries on the belt. The lady in front of me had bananas and the scale wouldn't work. The woman who was supervising jumped in, told the cashier to switch stations and told me to move to a different register. She expected me to put all of my groceries back into the carriage and line up again! The smarter choice would be to weigh them elsewhere and put the price in as misc groceries which they do all the time @ Truccis. Notably I had nothing that needed weighing. The supervisor smirked at me while she told me to move - she seemed to find my aggravation funny- if my groceries weren't on the belt I would have understood but they were! Lots of groceries! No apologies, no offers to help, nothing! Of course I'd have had to line up again. I didn't move them - I went to Market basket instead. Interestingly i saw the same silliness in Johnnies. Remember them? they used to be fabulous, then they let a bunch of people run it who were clueless with regards to customer service. Then they went out of business. read more

I went to the Trucchi's on Route 106, West Bridgewater. There was no hand sanitizer a the door and grocery carts were not being sanitized. There was no one counting how many people came into the store at one time. I thought that there was supposed to be a temporary count of only 20 people in the store at one time. About 1/3 of the people in the store did not wear masks to protect themselves and to protect others around them. There was a couple that brought there very young child in, and they had no masks on. To me that is just irresponsible. I am not going back to that store. I do not feel safe there. I feel really bad for the employees. read more

In the process of reviewing locales in the "Bridgewaters" I tried this small chain supermarket and was extremely pleased. The young staff was unfailingly polite and answered my potentially annoying questions (i.e Do you always carry this Mirabel lettuce?) with patience. I think I spoke with 5 different personnel members in different departments during the course of this exploratory visit and all were universally customer service "forward." I left as the store was closing as the "last customer in the place," but despite a staff about to go off-duty on a late Saturday night the Trucchi's people maintained their helpfulness. From the cheerful, outgoing check-out bagger to the friendly, "yellow vest" kid who helped me put my bags in the trunk, it was an impressive display by their personnel. Beyond the strong staff, the store itself was extremely clean and well ordered. Further, it was well stocked which was one of the reasons I deliberately went late on a Saturday night. Some of the larger stores I've seen look "picked over" on the week-end as if a Nor' Easter was coming in and the shelves had been emptied by panicked shoppers. And for selection, the store had all the "every day" items I had on the list with the exception of one item ("humane" certified eggs). Very impressive for a smaller store. The prices were equivalent or even less expensive than other chain stores (and in the case of at least three items, dramatically so). This is not a store intended for gourmet or higher end products so don't go intending to find a host of more exclusive items. What you will find, however, is a well run, competitively priced grocery store with strong customer service. I know they have a sister store in Abington and having never been there I can't attest to its quality, but the West Bridgewater store has gained a fan. Now, taking this one step further, they need to utilize the bagging boys more productively: The cashier should routinely ask every customer if they'd like some help wheeling the cart to their car. I love this store. When I walk in the door I feel like I stepped back in time. It is so peaceful, the music also takes me back in time. The store is not old looking it just makes you feel good being there. They have great pre made food to choose from, nuts and candy like at a trader joes but not trader joe prices. There is alcohol at this location and gourmet popcorn and rice cake cookies. I know it sounds corny but I go out of my way to go to this store just to escape for a moment. I always say I'd like to work here. I'm sure that would wear off fast as with any job. Try this place out and see if you feel the peacefulness that I do. Has to be this location though. read more

Trucchi's is great for my family, as I try to always support local owned businesses. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to help. I am in their quite regularly with my small children, and the staff goes out of it's way to be personable with my kids. The quality of their produce and meat and poultry are unsurpassed, especially by those so called "super" grocery stores. Their prices are lower than most competitors and you don't need a silly card or buy a minimum quantity to get the sale price. They help you to the car with your packages, and on more often than not the person helping tells me to load the kids up and let them worry about the rest. I have nothing but good things to say about Trucchi's of West Bridgewater! Every time I've gone there, they've had exacty what I need (and then some), and at good prices.
