It was badly cut and badly arranged…read more The son Ryan did a poor job measuring our area for the counter and he never informed us we could use their software to correctly arrange our slabs for our kitchen counter and backsplash so that they would match and look seamless. The slabs do not match and have a poor continuity. One of the seams between the slabs, because of the poor cuts/measurements, is large enough to fit a coin between the two slabs. This particular seam is the backsplash behind my stove so not easily hidden. Their solution, rather than using a new slab, was to just add extra caulk. When we expressed our concerns to the father owner Steve, his response was to tell us they had been in business for years and did the Governor's house years ago. Perhaps they would have done a good job for us if I was the Governor, but instead they did less than adequate work. Also, they did not put the hours for the sink faucets in the place where we wanted them. They did not ask for instruction on where to place the holes, even though we were in the house when they were making them. I had to have them come to our house several times to correctly caulk the seams. The technician did a sort of ok job. But the counters were never installed to our satisfaction. When we voiced our concerns Steve and Ryan simply dismissed us and our concerns. My husban

Very patient company…read more I wished I had gotten rid of the awful tiled countertop in the kitchen YEARS ago. It looked bad and was impossible to roll out crust on. David was recommended by the cabinet company and the stone company to install the granite countertops. Thank heavens they all three are near each other because there were several trip back and forth to work out all the details. David the owner came to the house and promptly measured and told me want in needed. Took the drawing to the stone shop and had it ordered in under 15 minutes. Three weeks later a two man crew shows up a little early to start. Fabulous better early than late. These guys had the old tile off in about 1 1/2 hours. And finished the entire install in one day by working until 630 at night. It was pricey but beautiful. Just should have done it years ago.

We did have a gal ask us if we had any questions. Now I'm deciding on getting new bathroom counter tops to my kitchen, so more decisions to be made. I've been wanting new countertops for a while, but had to prioritize with the backyard and the interior of the house. Very impressed with the pricing and choices available.. During December 2021 we took possession our newly built home. As with any newly built home there…read morewere a few things that still needed to be taken care of by the builder. One of the items to be fixed was the seam our new quartzite countertop. The installation and finish of the seam were let's say subpar to be nice. The builder brought in the original manufacturer/installer to fix the seam not once but twice. Both times the issue was magnified significantly, and the sub contractor became impolite and inappropriate with an attitude of what you see is what you have, like it or not. Fortunately for us the project manager knew of a local owned and operated company who could fix this horrid repair job. He called Craig and Jill Johnson at Stone and Tile Care. Craig came out and surveyed the large countertop and told us he could fix it. Craig and Toby came out and worked on the countertop for two days with the most amazing results. My countertop looks awesome! There also was an issue with the front stoop. A subcontractor fractured the front stoop leaving a 3 ¼" long x ¾ "deep x 1/2" wide notch out of the front of it. In the rear there was also a 9" long x 1/4 "wide x 5+" deep void that the concrete subcontractor caused where the stoop met the front door threshold. Our contractor stated they would only patch it with a product that would not match the concrete. As this fix was unsatisfactory, we continued to ask for a better solution for over 3 months with no joy. After work on the quartzite countertop was completed, we asked Craig if he could recommend a good locally owned company to repair the stoop. Craig advised us that his company specializes in concrete epoxy coatings for just such purposes. He gave us a more than reasonable estimate. Not wishing to deal with the builder any longer about this issue, we asked Tile and Stone Care to do the work. Not only did it repair the stoop, but they also made the entrance to our new home look stunning. Without any reservation we highly recommend Stone and Tile Care llc as they are a family owned and operated local business since 1999, reasonably priced, the best at what they do and are the personification of professionalism. They will make sure the job gets done correctly and will not give up until it meets yours and their satisfaction. They set the bar high. Thank you Stone and Tile Care and especially Craig, Jill, Cody and Toby for the outstanding work you did on our new home. We will be using them again, in the near future, to fix the mess the builder left on the concrete floors in our garages.
