She told me that she would have someone out the following day between 12 and 2. Yay! Dan arrived today at 12:00. Very courteous and professional. He has been with the company for 18 years. That says alot. He replaced the spring and bushings (they were cracked) and lubricated all the moving parts. The door now works like new. On top of that, the cost of this service call was... I can only say... very reasonable. A+ I recommend you call them. :)

We called this afternoon, they came out almost immediately, replaced both cables, and to say anything other than the price was extremely reasonable would be unfair. I filled out a form on-line, picked a time online to drop my car off at Safelite AutoGlass, returned laler the same day and the glass had been replaced. They even moved my oil change service tag from my broken windshield to the new one. It was a very easy and convenient process. The only reason I give this a 4 instead of 5 is an issue that probably isn't related, but the timing made me question it. Two days later I drove across state and left my vehicle outside for two nights. It snowed. When I went to turn on my wipers (after what I thought was long enough for it to warm up), they would not work. They were stuck and I assumed frozen. I ended up having to take my vehicle into the dealer where they told me the wipers gears were stripped. Again, probably not related to having my windshield replaced but the timing just makes me wonder.
