Incredible customer service, quality and value! In the middle of a very cold spell our older garage door opener finally gave up. I called a few companies and after the usual sales pitches, I was completely sold when I got to Adam at Garage Door Pro. His no sales pressure conversation with me, the option to try to repair it if they could, and the range of prices that I could expect to pay if they could not repair it convinced me to let his repair/installer come out. Ricky was able to come out the same day with the same laid-back non-sales pitch conversation style. We discussed options, he was completely transparent, explained cost ranges, timing, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I initially thought I would call a few other vendors but decided that my experience had been exceptional and there was no need to call anyone else. Ricky was professional and communicative throughout the process and done replacing our garage door opener in 2 hours - just as he had estimated. Ricky then explained and helped program our new openers, keypad, and even the phone app that we could use and share with family to open and close the door. He left the garage better than he found it and all of the parts and boxes were completely removed. Had a cable snap in the late morning- door wouldn't work at all. Did some searching, found good reviews here and contacted Garage Door Pro via this application (recommend you contact them directly instead, as my email was flooded from ALL sorts of companies). Adam responded almost immediately- proved he was not a bot (!) and said his tech Ricky could be there today if needed. Ricky got here within like 30 minutes! Super nice guy- assessed the situation briefly, then did a more thorough inspection. Ended up replacing both cables, checking springs and such, lubricating and putting in at least one new roller. Pretty straightforward guy, told me what really needed to be taken care of right now and what seems to be okay for awhile longer. I'd recommend Ricky and Garage Door Pro- will have them back for any additional work and perhaps another new door. One thing, though- don't forget to mention the 20% new customer discount- I did forget! Would have saved another 60 bucks or so if I remembered! Service call with Zach was amazing (and over two days communication). To be honest, I was a "terrible customer" who was 100% thinking I needed a total door replacement (I keep my 18' boat in garage so I set up appointment to do a big door replacement for security). Upon sleeping on it. I decided the door I had was "acceptable." It works and I was hoping they could change my order and just look into a garage door opener instead. Zack was very flexible with 1. listening to me. 2. changing my order. 3. still having a Tech come out same day and make it happen. Dave was my Teck who showed up same day. My 2 car garage had never had a garage door opener yet. I only had 3x simple truss 2x4's spanning the ceiling of my 18' A frame garage. I was concerned about enough support for the overhead door opener. Dave took the time move the truss over to an area that allowed the door opener to be installed and 1. still is a truss, but also supports the opener in a better area. Because Wisconsin Garage Door Pro honors a warranty. I had no issues saying OK to the install. It works great! read more

Garage door torsion spring snapped and car stuck in garage 9am. Called place that installed my garage door originally and were unable to come out to service it. Read some reviews of other local companies, including more common known ones that advertise, and seemed like a mixed bag out there. Came across this company and good reviews. Called and spoke to owner Adam who got me an appt from noon-2pm (called close to 10am) which was great considering wife needed van out of garage later to pick up kids. Very reasonable repair rates, and offered different types of springs for different pricing tiers depending how many cycles desired/felt worth paying for. Sam the tech was great to communicate with every step of process, checked and tuned up rest of components and recommended to replace drums at this time given age (15 yrs old) as well which was also reasonable. Needed a new garage door so went to a few places and all they had were small pics, no color chips and not at all helpful. Then to Croops and they had a wealth of door samples and good sized examples plus the literature from several manufacturers' showing homes with the various style doors plus color chips which I took home. Found exactly what we wanted and ordered. Delivered on time and installed. That crew operated like a fine tuned machine, each gent had specific duties and it was unreal how well they worked together. Didn't expect them to replace the springs...they did. Then the railings replaced and new rollers (plastic rather than the old metal ones), much smoother operation. I chose them to do the work, and they did the job on the spot all within a couple of hours. Great customer service and THE best price after calling at least 3 other places, some of which who did not offer up front pricing OR a free trip out (to Waukesha, WI). First and foremost to mention is how Senior friendly they are. Their service rep (Sam) took his time to explain and answer all my questions. He never tried to up-sell or patronize me. That meant a lot. His estimated cost was spot on with what I'd imagined so that was a relief.
