It really would depend on the kind of day they are having. Place is like a maze at 1st but once you get oriented you can make your way around just fine. Lots of cool little nooks and rooms to make the place feel special. My personal favorite is the garden room. The staff are usually very personable, thoughtful and very friendly. The number of times I've been here it seems like my friends and family are well taken care of. I don't go daily so I cannot attest to the daily regiment of eating, moving and cleanliness. No desire to ever go back, it's just not a place that gives me 'good memories' of my friends but the facility takes care of the needs of others so there's that...

The administrative staff was responsive and professional. The visiting pastor, musician and social worker provided wonderful services. Everyone we encountered at Premier were wonderful to work with and our family (the Hughes) highly recommends them.

When our family was looking for hospice care for our father, we were referred to Heartland Hospice…read more We scheduled an informational appointment to "interview them" thinking our father had several months left. The morning of our appointment, my father took a turn for the worse. We contacted Heartland and asked if they could come earlier than our scheduled appointment. They not arrived within 20 minutes of my call, but they were able to get him all of the help he needed and he was resting comfortably by that afternoon. Sadly, my father passed three days later. However, Heartland was wonderful through all of it. Because he was onboarded on a Friday, we ended up seeing five different nurses throughout the four days. Every one of them was phenomenal! They were all so caring and knowledgeable. We couldn't have navigated through everything without them.

I would not take my dog to Stillwater Hospice. My beloved brother was dying of lung cancer and we…read morewere advised to bring in hospice. Unfortunately, we chose Stillwater. From the initial intake on day one, until he died eight days later, Stillwater was horrible. My brother fell and EMTs had to be called and there was no followup from Stillwater to see if he was ok and if the family needed help or had questions. A nurse who came on day 2 never checked on him for five days until her next visit and was "really surprised" at how he had deteriorated. Then the intense pain began and for 41 hours it was horrific. I can never unhear his screams. Calling Stillwater at 4 am because the pain meds were running out, calling back and demanding that someone come help us and they show up hours later. Again, no followup until he died the next morning. I am writing this because I hope no one else suffers with Stillwater Hospice the way that my family did due to their incompetence and lack of care.
