Was hassled about my insurance (I have insurance, thank you) and informed that I needed to "pay down my high deductible" I don't have a high deductible plan, I have a PPO with a co-pay. Lady doesn't believe me and tells me to call my insurance company. She won't give me my card, because she needs it and gives me a post-it note for me to write down the info myself. Remember, first business day of the new year. I call and wait on hold for 15 minutes (literally), only for them to confirm that yes, I have a $35 co-pay. Asked 10 separate times if I would make a payment that day. [this is the very first time I've been here]. At the end of the appointment, no one ever asked me to pay! Counselor says, "oh, we'll just bill you." Goodness, would have saved a lot of hassle. Also hassled for proof of income that no one had told me previously to bring. Asked multiple times. Again, I'm not looking for a handout. I have insurance. Took 40 minutes to check in. Amount of paperwork was ungodly. Over 50% of the questions had absolutely nothing to do with why I was there. Then, I turn in the paperwork and I'm called up where the ladies continue to ask more questions. She never asks for the city I live in. I ask her if she needs that.. and she mentions no. Come to find out, she put the wrong city in! OOP, can't fix it, so has to DELETE my profile and START OVER. I pondered walking out multiple times, but decide that the counselor will probably be sane and normal. He was.. strange. His office was trashed and his calendar was on May (it's Jan). He had absolutely no empathy, barely looked at me and simply asked "Why are you here?" Not in a.. "this should make you think" way, but a wth are you doing here type way. Halfway through, it's determined that I should have a female counselor. He walks me out and says, "keep on us if we don't call you about making an appointment. Just keep on us." Glad I wasted 3 hours of my life.. for nothing. Entire experience was abrasive, inefficient. What if I was abused/timid, really did need some serious encouragement? NOT the environment. RUN.

They provide a walk-in service which allows access to a therapist if the need arises. I was particularly impressed when everyone called me by my name on my second visit. I was dismayed at the amount of personal information I was required to provide, but I suppose it was necessary to get the help I needed and the help has been very good for me. I recommend this center to anyone needing or wanting a mental tune-up. 'sqwrmy'

Mack Wright is hands down the best dentist I have been to since I was a young child. He is…read morefriendly, caring and thorough. His staff are all friendly and welcoming. Dr. Wright has fixed errors from another dentist for my daughter. We moved out of town but I will still drive down to Urbana to get my teeth fixed here. I am only sad we will be moving out of state soon but we are considering planning dentist appointments with Dr. Wright around our trips back up to visit kids and grandkids. When you know you are in excellent hands it's definitely worth doing so.

How ever they extremely negligent when it comes to paper work and communication. My husband is awaiting a kidney transplant and had to have a dental clearance done. They neglected to tell him after several visits he would need a tooth pulled to be cleared. Instead they sent him on his way and said the would fill out the paperwork.( to our knowledge it was done.) We find out two weeks later he had to have a tooth pulled and we found out from the transplant center not the dentist. They sent us to another office for the tooth extraction. They had a week to fill out 1 single paper. ( my husband called and reminded them in the middle of the week) So my husband case could be reviewed this week. Yet they still couldn't get that done. Now we have to wait even longer because this office simply just couldn't be bother to fill out a paperwork to help save my husbands life. While my husbands life Very obviously is a joke to this office he is my world. .
