Highlights and a trim. I drove over 30 minutes to get to Lavish Looks. When I arrived the receptioni was very nice but when Heather came to get me for my appt she looked like she really didn't want to be bothered and when I told her what I wanted done she told me that this was a consultation and not a appt and I told her that I told the receptionists exactly what I needed and she was SOOO RUDE and said the receptionists isn't a stylist and can't make a appt for highlights without a consultation firs...Then she I could fit you in Thursday or Frida.. I HAVE NEVER MET SUCH A RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL HAIR STYLIST EVER IN MY LIF!!!! I plan on putting post all over social media about HEATHER with LAVISH LOOK!!!

She listened carefully to my concerns, looked at style-photo examples I had downloaded to my phone and then discussed options with me. Simone spent a lot of time with me and did a great job on highlighting, cutting and styling. Facials, eyelash/brow-styled care, nail care and massages are also offered in another area of the salon.

I used to hate going to the salon because the hairdresser would always cut my hair shorter than what I asked for, but she cuts it at the exact length I ask. If she feels like more needs to be cut off, she asks if its okay and explains why. I will forever go to her for my hair problems!

She also does Extreme lashes, which I am now totally addicted to- beautiful long, dark, and full lashes that make your eyes pop without mascara, without any makeup! She's so patient and gives me the lashes that I wasn't born with, as well as taking care of the lashes that I do have! I live in Florida- not the place for heavy makeup or mascara, so instead Kathleen has made my own skin glowing and beautiful without makeup and now I have those lashes to die for!! Meli is always professional and quick to answer any questions. One thing that I think she does differently is she looks at your skin type and it's current condition to decide what moisturizer and products to use. I went to her once hungover as hell, and she explained why she used a certain dewy moisturizer and foundation on my face. This is helpful because there are SO many options out there, it's great to know what an expert thinks is right for you. Meli takes her time and listens. I booked…read moreCarmella Chanel Glam in May 2025 after seeing her good reviews, even though most of them were from 2019-2022. Everyone said she was great, so I trusted it. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't what I expected. When she arrived, she didn't have a professional setup at all. no lighting, no chair, no proper kit setup just a makeup bag and a small mirror placed on my friend's dining table. She did mention she had just moved to Florida so maybe that explains why she didn't have a real setup, I'm not sure. I showed her my inspo photos and clearly explained that I wanted a clean girl makeup, very light makeup look with soft pink blush and almost no eyeshadow. She said it was fine, but the makeup she did was completely different. She finished in about 20 to 25 minutes, and she ended up giving me dark eyeshadow even though I specifically said I didn't want that. The foundation made me look orange and wasn't matched to my skin tone. Overall, the makeup looked outdated, almost like a 2016 style, not the fresh and natural look I asked for. I was really disappointed, especially since this was for my friend's wedding. I also want to add that I didn't really speak up because it was my first time getting my makeup done professionally, and I get shy about saying something. I was already nervous and had to rush to a whole wedding right after, so I didn't want her to have to start over or make things awkward. I just left feeling frustrated. I still tipped her because she was very sweet, but the service didn't meet my expectations at all.
