Long post but sooooo many levels of incompetence…read more I took a brand new pair of pants with tag still on. I stood there while both women talked to me. One of them pinned pants. We had a lengthy discussion in detail that I wanted the new hem to look exactly like the old one. One woman said she'd do it differently but I told them what I wanted. She said "yes it can be done" I reiterated "it's the style of the pants, and that's why I bought them and it could be done there was plenty of fabric and what I want". Both woman agreed it could be done. When I go to pick them up, they are done completely wrong. The hem I wanted to preserve was not done and the woman who did the work said the woman that pinned them didnt write down my instructions!! But the woman who altered them was part of the full discussion when they were hemmed! so she threw her colleague under the bus. Both of them were present and actively talking to me about the new hem and style I wanted to preserve. Both agreed it could be done. When I go to pick them up, they are not how I want it, it is how the first woman wanted it, and the second one blamed it on the first ones were not writing it down! Absolutely the worst Poor excuse, horrible Customer Sevice, I told him I didn't wanna come back. I would take a discount and just leave and they told me, " we can't give you a discount only the owner ." I suggested we call the owner and was told, "the Owner is in Greece." So these employees are not empowered to make a simple decision. What kind of Owner is doesn't empower employees to make simple decisions that might preserve a modicum of credibility, leaves them stranded and they do a FAILURE job - poor workmanship and oh by the way... Do not go there unless you want your clothes ruined. The kicker: I know how to sew and I know there was plenty of fabric and time to do it right. BTW, I used to own 6 dry cleaners so I know exactly what's going on there and it is not professional. Negative stats if I could!

I visited this store with my niece in search of ball gowns for the Marine Corps birthday ball. We were followed around the store and repeatedly asked if we had a reason to be shopping there. No help or guidance was offered. I asked about getting my niece sized and was told they don't do that, nor do they do alterations. They were unhappy to help my niece into the one gown she wanted to try on and made it clear that no photos were allowed. Although there were some beautiful pieces I would have loved to add to my collection, we were treated like such a burden we left without myself trying anything. I can only assume they judged us poorly because we didn't look like money in ripped jeans and t-shirts.

Then about 2 years later I purchased 3 more suits. During those visits the sales staff as well as the seamstress were all fantastic!!! The seamstress was especially helpful and did an amazing job back then with the "Tailored Fit". In 2020 I had open heart surgery and during the recovery and where I'm at today in 2025 I lost 25 pounds. As you can imagine those 5 suits DON'T fit anymore!!! I needed a suit for an event so I called Men's Warehouse about getting one of the altered again. They said no problem and it was part of the lifetime alterations since I purchased the suits from them and they did the alterations. I did have to pay for some special alterations on this suit but no big deal! When I picked up my suit today and tried it on it fit perfectly and I think it fits better now than it did the first time. She did the slim cut alteration on it and I love it. So today again; the staff were very friendly even though they were super busy! The same seamstress that did the alterations 10 years did the alterations again and was just as friendly and helpful! Added note; I looked through the marked down section and saw a dress shirt that fit me perfectly! Normal price was $79 and it was marked down to $14.99. Oh yes love the shirt and price! Thank you Men's Warehouse for providing a great service for us guys!!!! * I definitely recommend Men's Warehouse! Word of advice; was the sales added and sign up for emails and promotions. Fast turn around, dropped the items off on a Tuesday and picked them up on a Friday. $150 for 15 items, including 4 dresses, 3 long jackets, a two piece suit, and a bunch of suit jackets. Amazing personal service, too! The owner even brought my clothes to my car and made sure that they'd get home safely. I will never go to another dry cleaner again!
