We went as my wife was having back pain .Nurse practitioner who evaluated us was more used to sore…read morethroats and other simple medical issues .Was not much help, took an X-ray .Next day we went to the ER ,quite impressed ,big facility ,no wait time to be seen .We would have been better going there right away .We needed an mri but it was not available, so got a CT. It is apparent that Munson has expanded too far too fast and does not have enough equipment for the local needs.Wait time for an MRI even if semi urgent is at least 7-10 days.

She was overdue for a tetanus shot so she thought it best to go to an urgent care to get one. She doesn't do great with shots so I offered to run up there with her and off we went. It was just before close on a Sunday but they were very accommodating. There was a fairly long intake one must conduct over the phone (they recommend calling before coming in but we didn't know that) before they can take you back. They called her within minutes of finishing that and she met with a really awesome doc who checked her over and recommended a quick xray to make sure there wasn't a break since there was some soreness in the joint. A few minutes later she took a quick look at the x-ray and was fairly confident there wasn't a break. A very thoughtful nurse then administered the shot and took great care to make her comfortable (since she has a history of fainting), laying her down on the bed, giving her a cold compress, etc. No fainting and we were in and out in a little over a half hour! You hope you never need an urgent care on vacation but I'm glad we know this is a reliable spot should the need arise again.

Labor & Delivery For such a special event in peoples…read morelives... we had a scheduled induction at 40 weeks. I ( grandparent) drove in from Florida, another set of grandparents drove in from Indiana... the father of the baby was released from police academy (just for birth, then he was to return to academy). Munson advised us of a cancellation time which was not followed by them. They called as we were preparing to leave for the hospital. First they said they had no beds.... then in same phone conversation it turned into not enough staff. Nurse on phone said she would call right back after talking to manager/charge nurse.... Waited, waited, waited... meanwhile they are calling dads phone, leaving a message to call back, but leaving an incorrect call back number. Nikki the charge nurse/manager gave some excuse, contradicting stories and said they will call in the morning to reschedule ... which they did, but canceling again. Said to call back at 10am, which we did and they canceled again. No regard as to father missing two days of training and his only maternity leave at this point... family in from all over. Then they called and asked us to reschedule with a side note of canceling again. Finally get a medically necessary induction date for 11 days post due date (10/13). Daughters water breaks on the 10th. Get to hospital and it is confirmed. Started pitocin at 9pm. A bald male anesthesiologist came in to do an epidural and was SO NASTY even the nurse was shocked at his behavior, not to mention he was rude to my daughter and hurt her. Needless to say epidural had no effect until a female anesthesiologist came in and asked my daughter to reposition and she gave her some medication and it worked. Daughter goes into active labor at about 4am.... She is ready to push by 8am, doctor goes and does a C-section and missed my daughters delivery. Nurse delivers the baby with cord wrapped around baby's neck and lays it on daughters stomach not even looking at cord tightly around neck. Dr. comes in and grabs baby and gets cord unwrapped from neck.... Now waiting for placenta to be delivered. Placenta out and my daughter start's hemorrhaging horribly . Dr spends the next hour and a half stitching my daughters 3 degree tears while losing over 2 liters of blood. So now she needs a transfusion, medication for the blood pressure, Pitocin for the bleeding and doesn't get any contact with baby. My daughter was so sweet and thankful.... Never lost her composure and from then on ALMOST all the labor & delivery staff was cold & distant. They made this first time experience AWFUL! The hospital staff in L&D (EXCEPT 4 nurses, one of who's last day working at this facility was on following Wednesday, were great) the male anesthesiologist that night were ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Unfortunately the only hospital in the area... so they don't have to care. Our experience with first delivery AWFUL! Don't think my daughter will return to this hospital.

This is no longer a "family" practice, rather than another business hungry provider. I have had multiple occasions of passive aggressive communication or no communication at all with this provider. After struggling with light-headedness and migraines for a week, I went in for a 5 minute conversation with no tests or solutions. The doctor insisted it was a "hangover" when I've never really drank alcohol in my life. I wasn't informed on my insurance coverage change, and this 5 minute conversation was $60. I had an odd physical injury being hit with a golfball, and I could hear nurses speaking about my situation and laughing outside the room. Made me feel bad and uncomfortable for asking for a female doctor for my first Pap smear. I schedule visits only to be seen weeks later, and never with my primary doctor. My entire family, friends, and co workers have all switched from this provider as these experiences are widespread. This practice has turned into a money-focused business. There is no family-feel when receiving care.
