Nice thing about them was they gave us samples when we were curious about an item on their menu. Their brisket was excellent. It was seasoned just right, not too fatty (you can request to get the fat cut off too if you want) and tender. You can order pork ribs by number of ribs instead of weight strictly. Their hatch Mac n cheese was fire. They add jalapenos to it and it was very creamy. Their beans had bits and pieces of brisket in them as well. Overall, a great BBQ place. Was just a bit uncomfortable sitting outside to eat on a toasty summer day.

I guess the photos on google/yelp showing an indoor location are from their previous spot, though they did say they will be going back to brick and mortar spot at some point. Happily it wasn't too steamy outside so we decided to stay though the fact that there are no bathrooms at all was a definite negative (two of our party had to go to the pizza place next door and buy something to use their restrooms!). That being said the staff was very friendly and even offered us a free sample of the turkey while we were deciding which honestly is what convinced us to stay! It was super moist and flavorful. I ordered a half pound of pork ribs, ended up with .6lb which was only two ribs- but they were big and ended up being a surprising amount of meat. Ribs were tender but not falling off the bone, no complaint there I don't want the meat to be mushy; flavor was good and sauce was decent though nothing special. The green chili Mac was pretty tasty though extremely creamy, I'm not exactly complaining lol but I like more cheese heavy. The potato salad was solid and they gave us plenty of onions and pickles. Other members of our party approved of the chicken, brisket, and jalapeño cheese sausage. I didn't hear anyone say it was the best bbq they'd ever tasted but it was solid, flavorful, and satisfying fare. I would return especially to a brick and mortar- Texas summers are just too hot to eat heavy food outside! Parking seemed limited but we went at 3pm on a Wednesday so it wasn't an issue.

However the green beans and banana pudding were also very good! Can't wait to come back and bring family too. Highly recommend. We recently went to a famous bbq place in Austin and hands down this brisket was WAY better!!! Kyle's best kept secret. Loved the outdoor seating too. They had cornhole and tvs. The flies were annoying but it is Texas and Summer.

The gentleman on the phone said they did but had run out of some of the other meats and had limited quantities of brisked, chopped brisked and smoked chicken. i told him we'd head right over. We got there and 1. were greeted with firendly happy faces, 2. I noticed a small bar area as soon as you enter and 3. even though most people were freaking out about the freeze later this evening, the place was half full which to me, is an indication that this olace must be pretty damn good if it was literally freezing and people were willing to risk it for the brisket. While we waited in line to place our order, I get a callback from the Bloodworth which i though was odd. I answered and it was the gentleman I had spoken to earlier to let me know they were running out of chicken and wanted to know if we wanted him to hild some for us. Ain't that super nice and fantastic customer service??? I told him were already in line and about to place our order. He came out from the back while he still had me on the phone to greet me and we both laughed about it. Super nice guy and turns out he's also the pitmaster. We placed our order for the smoked chicken and also a to go order of brisket to have the following day. We also ordered their 5-cheese mac and cheese and their potato salad. The staff helping us was super helpful and cheery telling us about their menu and how everything is made onsite. Their chicken was moist and tender with a good smokey flavor and well seasoned with sald and pepper. The wife and i split a chicken quarter each and that was more than enough, especially sonce we were also non-stop digging into the tangy, mustard based potato salad and creamy and heavenly mac and cheese. Neither is to be missed! Also, while I'm not generally a fan of bbq sauces, their Gold and Spicy are freaking out of this world. Kudos to the entire staff as they were all incredibly nice, from the two young ladies behind the counter slicing the meats and packing the sides, to the gentleman behind the bar (thanks for asking of I needed another Lonestar) to the pitmaster checking on his customers, it was just such a great, refreshing experience. Glad to have a fantastic option close by to indulge in great tasting smoked meats!

We heard that Rudy's was a solid spot to check out so thought it could be the perfect spot and it was! Fast casual setup, vast open seating, clean tables, clean restrooms. Easy in, easy out, and solid Texas BBQ vibes. Service was great. Super patient and friendly, greeted us when we came in and they even offered samples of the prime rib and pork loin before we committed to how much we wanted. That alone deserves a shoutout! Here's what we ordered: * Prime Rib - Honestly the star of the show. Great price, beautiful marbling, solid bark, juicy and pink inside. Perfectly seasoned. And that horseradish sauce?? So unique and addicting! I genuinely wanted to take extra home and put it on everything! I might have to get extra next time! * Moist Brisket - Tasted good. Not the best brisket we've ever had in Texas (let's be honest, that's a high bar), but for a quick, no-wait option? It was great! * Pork Loin - A sleeper hit. Juicy, well seasoned, nice smoke flavor, and super lean. This would be AMAZING for weekly meal prep. Not a cut you see everywhere and they did a great job with it! The pickled jalapeños and carrots are BOMB. Spicy with a great snap. Plus you get free pickles, bread, onions, and sauce, always appreciated. We really loved that they offer meats like pork loin and prime rib that you don't always see at BBQ joints, and they execute them really well! We'll absolutely be back for those in particular! Apparently we need to try the banana and chocolate pudding next time as we've heard it's good. Overall a solid stop!
