Tried Kyle Pizza on a Friday evening. As they say, it seems very local and kinda hole in the wall litterally - with the order taken through a counter through the wall... We ordered a large pizza and 2 drinks. The girl that was working the counter seemed over stretched and it showed. We decided to eat in the restaurant and grabbed a table. We were given 2 plates and waited for the pizza to come out. When the pizza came out it was brought over by the cook, so we were missing cutlery, our drinks and spices. We had to wait while the pizza grew cold till the girl showed up. As for the pizza, it was pretty meh - no undercarridge, chewy bland dough - certainly nothing to write home about. All in all, a one time experience -there are better pizza places around and better service for sure. read more

My hubby and I tried this place out for the first time since we moved to the area. I wanted to check out the local pizza. It's a small pizza shop but that's what I loved about it. No corporate franchise. Just a local couple who own it. I'd rather support local business. You order at the window and there are plenty of options for flavors. They even had a special flavor that they seem to rotate which is cool. We shared a pizza and they were able to make it half of what he wanted and half of what I wanted. The pizza was actually very tasty and it didn't leave me feeling yucky like some of those other major pizza places do with all that grease. I enjoyed looking at the walls that had newspaper clippings and stories of the owners humble beginnings and history with the pizza shop. Would definitely recommend and be back for sure! read more

A nice pizza and has the small town charisma going for it, but I don't think the product we got was worth the price charged. Good sauce but the toppings were chewy and didn't offer much flavor. The crust was too thin to get a good fold or to stand up for the weight of the ingredients. In an effort to keep things easier, I'm sure, they don't have a soda machine, or even a water pitcher. However, a can is only a buck fifty so it isn't the end of the world. The service left something to be desired, with the only redeeming quality being that they held back the pie to let it cool, letting us know so. Overall, I like the atheistic and charm, but we likely won't return so many options for 'za in near by San Marcos. read more

Don't think we are in Texas anymore!!! This pizza will transport you to at least the east coast if not all the way to Italy!!! The crust was not too thick and not too thin and if I were pushed to nit pick, the only thing that could have been a bit better or crispier. Friday. Long week. Ya know what sounds good? Supporting the locals and eating well at the same time. That's a good time I tellz ya. Decided to finally try the local pizza joint and was I ever delighted. Went plain with half the pizza to see what the essentials hold flavor wise. Delicious! Good crust. No burns. Wasn't dripping. Good pull on the cheese. Savory. Very well done. For the other half I plopped some sausage on that. Good flavor, not scorched, wholesome sized bites. I'll be honest. This was really bleeping good. I lean more towards local higher quality pizza based on the reviews and rating on this place we gave this place a 4/10. The pizza itself was basic not bad not great. Pricing was competitive with other local places. My main issue was the wait time. I waited over 45 mins with ordering online and arriving when they said it would be ready. The staff was also on their phones when I entered and didn't acknowledge me until I was at the register. It it's a big deal just think it's unprofessional but it is a pizza place. read more

This past Saturday was my daughter's first birthday, and I decided to order pizza for the family. Wanting to try something local instead of the usual, I placed an order for three large pizzas and two orders of pizza rolls. Everything was fine until I arrived to pick up my order. The place was empty (which wasn't an issue) but the girl at the front didn't acknowledge me, say hi, or greet me at all. It felt awkward, especially considering I was spending over $90. After printing my receipt, I still left a tip. Then a young man came out with my order, and he also didn't acknowledge me or say anything. At this point, it felt even more uncomfortable. I took my order, thanked them, and wished them a great day only to be met with silence. That was enough for me to decide I wouldn't be returning. But it didn't end there. After eating, the pizza turned out to be cold and flavorless. Later that night, two family members got food poisoning and were sick for nearly three days. We suspected the pizza, as others also complained about the taste. I chose to spend my money here because of the good reviews, but after this experience, I'm questioning them. Please do better both in food quality and customer service. That's the least you can do. read more

Would not recommend this place. Waited over an hour for a 10inch pizza and 3 pizza rolls on a Thursday night. Pizza was greasy and not worth the wait or the price. Pizza rolls weren't too bad but with the amount of time we waited, I would have rather drove to San Marcos for some better pizza rolls. They did give me an extra ranch which was a plus but overall would not be coming back anytime soon. The staff was nice but looked like only one person working the whole place. read more

Just moved to Kyle a few months ago and wanted to try something local. This pizza was so much more than I expected, so delicious. They know how to put just the right flavors together making pizzas you want again. We actually went back two days later and we aren't normally big pizza people. The service was awesome too. So.... moved to Kyle & looking for a good pizza place. My mother ran a pizza shop for 25 years & I make my own pizza, but wanted a place for go to. I was impressed by Pizza Classics advert for "Best Pizza". Let me just say that I was severely disappointed in the 1st & last time here. I ordered a "large" online & when I arrived learned this was only a 14" pizza... for over $24. Are you kidding me? Arrogantly I was told that a 16" pizza is an "Extra Large". Well, what do I know about pizza (other than just how cheaply pizza is made). The Supreme had little toppings, the dough was like bread, not at all crisp. Seriously, I can get an HEB Supreme pizza for $6.22 that is better. I tried & think Aviator Pizza is better as well as Illarios. Won't be back to Pizza Classics, that's for sure. BTW, Illarios "large" pie is 17", not 14" & the toppings are better. read more

Walked back inside and pizza was on shelf...We paid $26 and gave a $7 tip with instructions I would be in black SUV.... It's my favorite go to pizza in Kyle/Buda/South Austin/San Marcos area {except Pie Society in SM they're pizzas are a little more elecvated/pricey though} Great dough, great ingredients, great service.
