I don't like to give super negative reviews. But I love to be honest. My overall service wasn't horrible. However, I felt my pedi tech was distracted by another client and tech dispute and forgot to paint my pinky toe. She gave a great deep massage though. I was then shuffled around for my mani. The nail tech was minimally proficient in the cat eye technique and was adamant to sell me her mediocre job. I didn't want to fight it. It wasn't the worst, but it wasn't the best. I felt the overall price was a bit higher for what is typical in this area and type of service. A bit of advice: do not get upset when a client is specific about a particular service. If you cannot meet their desires, just be honest about it. It's better to confidently produce a service that you can offer and have a satisfied customer than one you can't and have a disgruntled customer. read more

Been coming to this salon since they opened. The name has been changed probably about 3 or more times(lost count). It's always a hit or miss. This time my right big toe nail was cut really short and you can see the skin underneath. I didn't realize till she started to put the polish on and I thought maybe she'll fix the left toe to look like the right but she didn't. I asked if she can fix it , she said she can do acrylic but I already put the gel on . I told her I'll fix it myself when I get home. She said something in her language and all the employees started to laugh. I was so livid .How am I going to be walking around with one long squared toe nail and another short round toe nail? I come here every two weeks like clock work to get a fill. I think i will be taking my money elsewhere. I went Thursday and "Jolie" always rushes and doesnt make any conversation. She burned me with the nail drill 5-6x. I just went 7/3 for a fill and here we are 24hrs later and my top coat is already peeling off.. i have to say i am pleased with the work the lady does in the first desk when you walk in but DONT go to Jolie she doesnt care. Got acrylic nails and Lucy executed them beautifully, quick, and fairly cheap. Unfortunately on the 7th day of wear, two broke, one on each hand. I work an office job and am not hard on my nails whatsoever. I was hesitant based off the reviews saying their acrylics don't last, but last time I religiously got my nails done (years ago), an acrylic never ever broke this easily or this soon so I ignored the reviews. I spent the evening soaking them off and am super disappointed these didn't even make it 8 days. read more

This is usually one of my go to spots to get my nails done. i thought i would try a pedicure and it was probably the worst i've ever had. For $65 she did no cuticle work, very minimal callous removal. we came in right when they opened so there was nobody waiting. They offer complimentary drinks like wine, mimosas, soda, water, and even Vietnamese coffee. The prices are fair, the AC feels great, and the chill piano music adds to the relaxing vibe. Went back again here, since my regular salon is now permanently closed. Went to John and he did a STELLAR job with my nails! He had a lot of work cut out for him too because I had tried to redo my builder nail gel myself (read: disaster) and I had a broken nail going vertically up on one finger . He handled everything with superb care and gentleness, and he did a PERFECT job shaping my nails just the way I like . The gel powder I got looks amazing and stayed nicely with no peeling. I understand the month of May and summer are very busy times for nail salons due to graduations and everyone going on vacations, however I had scheduled an appointment for 6 PM and even arrived 10 minutes earlier to secure my spot. While I was waiting for over FORTY MINUTES, (they close at 7) multiple people walked in claiming they also had an appointment and they were told to leave? When I finally got helped, the entire process was rushed and I could just tell they wanted to go home. Nails look horrible and if they can't put customers first then they don't deserve business. To start off, they are only named Cute-icle because their original name BQ Nails got so many bad reviews, they went out of business. Same staff and same products. I went Feb 18 to get a set for my birthday, they were beautiful and I loved them. Usually a full set lasts 3 weeks but as soon as 2 weeks hit, nails started popping off. I went back March 6 to get TWO nails fixed and get the rest filled. I go sit down and the man immediately starts ripping off my nails on all of my fingers. Mind you, I asked for a fill. At this point I tried telling him that he does not need to take off my nails but he ignores me and continues prying them off. Fast forward to the end of my appointment, I look down to my left hand and my pinky nail is round and jagged. I asked for a coffin shaped set and this nail is very obviously off. I noticed the man looking at it but again, he ignores it. Irritated, I just pay $40 and leave. SIX DAYS LATER my middle nail breaks. At this point i'm livid. I go in the next day and say "i need a fix, i got these 6 days ago". the man says "it'll be $5 because it has been a week". Keep in mind, a good set does not break after SIX DAYS. My response was "whatever". I sit down and yet again, no one speaks to me. no hello, no how's your day, nothing. Silence each time I have been there. I am sure that I am probably going to get some pushback for my review. But I just had a terrible experience at this nail salon with the manager and I cannot believe what a ugly job she did on my nails. UGLY PERSON = UGLY NAILS! LOL So I walk in it is 1:50 PM on a Wednesday afternoon and there's nobody waiting ahead of me all the chairs are occupied the manager long hair older lady tells me it is going to be five minutes for wait time I said perfect I will go next-door grab a Starbucks coffee and come right back it is literally next-door I walked. I came back and signed in at exactly 2:06 PM. They told me it would be just a little while and I am next so I sat down and picked out a color for my gel fill. 30 minutes go by and nobody is free still. I am getting anxious because they keep asking if I want a pedicure, I specifically told him not today, I didn't have the time but she came over and I told her she specifically made me wait an extra half hour after I told her I was in a rush and didn't have the time to get my toes done. I watched her go in the back a few times come back and write something on a notepad, go in the back again and yet finally at 2:50 she calls me back to her chair the exact same manager who keeps getting up to take the people at the front to take payment to check who's doing a pedicure, who's doing a manicure and I at least I'm relieved it is now an hour almost since I've been there. I sit down, I am very polite, I say thank you, I say please, I said I want this color and she goes to grab it no urgency whatsoever. I said no problem in my head because it's just a fill and it shouldn't take more than 35 to 45 minutes. She starts working on my nails, everything's going fine and when it's time to do the actual fill with the powder she is doing a horrible job leaving bumps and making them look like a completely different shape and then I swear to you, this is not a joke, she turns over to talk to the partner sitting next to her and she shows him the bad lumpy job that she is doing on my nails and they both start laughing, not before she gives her a terrified look like I can't believe you're doing that and he has a surprise and shocked look on his face. I, of course don't know what they're talking about, all I can assume is they were talking about the job she was doing on purpose because she purposely leaned over towards him, leaned my hand over to show him the bad lumpy job she was doing on my fingers. At this point I am thinking, oh my goodness, did she get upset because I told her in a very nice Calm way that I did not want the pedicure? because I did not have time. So now I am looking at her like are you serious. Yet I said nothing, I do not want a confrontation with someone who wouldn't understand anything. LoL I just want the job done, I've already been here an hour but the entire 45 minutes that she took to work on my nails she kept getting up she kept taking her time before she even filed them down, she was writing notes about the other coworkers, she was laughing it up, she made a phone call, so she is almost done ready to put on the nail polish, I look down at that one specific Nail that looks distorted, looks like there's an extra duck foot growing out of it and she knows I noticed and yet I said nothing and she did nothing. So she takes her phone as she's about to put on the nail polish called her son. So at this point, I'm just sorry for her. Hahaha. Bitterness is real in this one LoL she never even put a towel down to do my nails who doesn't clean their station before starting a new client? she literally did not clean the station before I sat down. on top of that her attitude and bad bad bad customer service with an even worse nail job. here I am my first time there and it is an unacceptable experience. But what is the point? They won't change. I rather go further north. She will one day get it. I'm over it and will just laugh at her ugliness. I will move on and not think about it again. very, VERY unhappy with my nails. this was my first time going here and i thought it's close to home, have tons of errands to run so let's try it out! NOPE, i should have stayed with my normal girl further away. the man who did my nails was very nice indeed but the job done on my nails was not good. first of all, he made me bleed. how? idk! secondly, the color on the tips are ALL uneven and so are the lengths of each nail. it's honestly like he didn't even care if he did a great job or not. lastly, all of my nails are lumpy like they were not smoothed out. i'm going out of town and was rushing to run errands and only took a peek at them while i was there but figured since this was a "professional" salon they would be ok (probably should have looked more) so i didn't notice all these bad things until i got to my next destination to actually look at them. and by the time i would have tried to go back, they were closed and won't be in town tomorrow. paid $57 for crappy nails. just overall a bad nail job and WILL NOT be returning. hopefully if you go, it won't be so bad :( good luck!h read more

I moved to Verrado back in March '20 and have come to this nail salon a few times for pedicures only. It seems that now their foot traffic has increased they are having difficulty managing through it. I recently was a walk in with a friend of mine, we both wanted pedicures, me a gel pedicure and him a basic pedicure for men, no polish. I asked how long it would be, the gentlemen at the front who was consumed in his ipad didn't even make eye contact and shouted out, "we do it now." So we were led to two adjoining spa chairs. He was serviced first, no problem. By the time the next tech became available my water was cold and my friends pedicure was almost complete. So much for enjoying a couple's pedicure together. And my gel manicure..was medicore at best. She rushed through it. Didn't pay attention to my request. I think she could tell I was irrated by my wait time and water temp so she decided to counter act with subpar service! I think one of the biggest pet peeves of alot of nail shops is their inability to be HONEST about wait times, fearing loss of business. When I find an honest nail shop that cares more about how they treat their customes than their bottom line..that's a nail salon I will stick with. read more

The two pedicures were assigned and seated just so they can tell me there's no one to help me and I would have to sit and wait. I figured someone would finish fairly soon but now it's been over 25 minutes and still waiting.. Oh and not to forget they persuade for you to make an appointment each time you walk in without one. I've been coming here since they open but not anymore. I will definitely be taking my every 3 week business else where. She cut my cuticles in 7 different places. It's been 4 days now, and they are starting to scab over but I still occasionally bump then on something, and then they start bleeding again. Nice salon. Prices on the menu /pamphlets don't match what they charge so be sure to ask. I got a regular fill with regular polish, says $18+ on menu and they charged me $35. Had a kids mani/pedi asked because it's not on the menu and they said $30, then when it was time to pay $35- they did correct it when I asked but very conflicting information. Polish change for toes regular polish is $15. I don't think I'll be back for a regular fill at $35, that's much higher than I usually pay. read more

I have been going here for about 4 mos. and I usually have John who I am very happy with, if I have a problem he fixes it. About two weeks ago I had someone else who didnt bother to tell me his name put on a new set and gel, I have already lost 5 of the nails and one to two more are loose. I am finally getting to go back tomorrow to see John table 4. Just told the person on the phone what happened but he didnt seem to care but did make my appt.
