If I could give zero stars I would. My mom and I went in for a pedicure and myself a full set, she also wanted a change of color. We went to the pedicure station first and I told the lady to keep my toe nails square and not too short so I wouldn't get ingrowns. She didn't listen and cut them immediately after I said. The pedicure wasn't exactly what I was looking for color wise but it's not a big problem, but that same night my two big toes started getting swollen and super red. I looked at them the next day and realized my toe nails were ingrown and he'd puss squirting out. Not sure if they were cleaning the supplies properly, I got the full set as well and they used no base coat so the polish was rough and splotchy. The top coat was also not on all the nails. The lady who did my moms pedicure left a faint black mark across the big toes and my mom asked if she had accidentally made the mark herself but the lady said she didn't and it was "fine". We asked for her to just discount the pedicure, but they weren't listening and spray my mother with alcohol and wiping her instead of fixing after stating it was fine many times. My mom didn't want to sit back in her chair after saying she wanted mat and not glossy many times and the lady got rough with the file. read more

The shop was nice. I got there at 3:37p and my appt was at 3:45p. The technician was nice at first. Her station was closest to the door. I requested a full set of black stiletto nails. I showed her 2 photos. After about an hour, I realized the shape wasn't great. She used black dip acrylic powder (which I never use, I always have them use clear and black gel polish). I did mention multiple times the shape and I reminded her by showing her the photos. She continued to not listen and just kept saying she was doing them so thick because I do hair. I explained I didn't want them that thick and she did not listen. I took my 6 year old With me and after almost 2 hours, she became restless. The technician was beginning to get frustrated. The nails were weak, and actually bent when any pressure was applied and when I asked, the technician said the gel would harden them. After the gel and 3 hours at this point, she said she was finished. I asked her to fix the shape and look and she advised me a different person would fix them, after they wanted to charge me $65 as a "discount". I had no problem paying, I just wanted them shaped correctly. The next person started to file my nails to fix them. At this point it was 6p. The person who I totally did my nails said something in a different language and the girl doing my nails said "she said she won't charge you and you can go get them fixed". I have never experienced a service or had nails like that done, EVER. I'm disappointed they would not help and I had to go to another salon (Goodyear nails) to fix them because every place closed at 7p. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. I will never go back and I suggest if you want great nails, don't come here. We went we Vivian's so my sister could get her nails done. I got a pedicure, and it was very basic... She first asked what I wanted and I said "basic." She tried to upsell two tiers saying "it's better for you," like Anjelah Johnson's Nail Salon skit. I was firm again saying only the basic and it wasn't a question. I barely got a massage, she clipped my nails so I'm now going to get ingrown toenails, and she put toe separators in, then took them right out (before painting) and put them back in her cart... I really hope she threw them away, but probably not. My sister got acrylics done, and they were ROUGH on her hands. They looked pretty choppy. Then after 2 days, they started yellowing. She had to go back in to get them redone. Time came to check out and they expected cash for a tip and when they ran my card, they didn't disclose the extra fee for using a credit card. So I asked them to void it to include tip, and they just ran my card again charging another undisclosed fee. I wasn't going to press the matter because of the bad experience already, but I would highly recommend finding another place. I gave an extra star because they were kind to my baby that I brought in with me. read more

I went to this salon yesterday and asked for these cute red nails (last photo) and what I got was the second to last photo. I was so upset and called them and she eventually said I could come in today to get them redone for free (angrily). I decided to do a different style that wasn't as hard to mess up. Thought wrong. I asked for natural looking nails (thin), they have mountains on them. She put only one coat of black on and they are see through in the sun. My nails are covered in acrylic glue and I can't get it off. ALSO, she filed my nails so hard that she CUT THREE of my fingers. I spent $60 + a $10 tip yesterday and then I started with a $20 for the new lady I went to. I spent $90 for THIS. I am extremely disappointed. read more

My husband and I had pedicures. His was the $45 service and mine was the $30. My tech was Amy and she was excellent. Very gentle with my feet which I appreciated due to neuropathy. My massage was very relaxing. My husband's tech was Paola? and his treatment was great. Loved his massage and hot stone treatment. We will go back in a month for more pampering. I am giving 2 stars because my wife's pedicure was pretty good. Mine was horrible. The person that did mine was so rushed, she kept talking to the person next to me and not paying attention to my feet. When she was cutting my nails she cut my toe with the clippers. She didn't file my nails, scrub my heals which is why I get pedicures. At the end she was finished with me in 22 min from start to finish. We will not be going back read more

A $45 acrylic fill. I have never paid that much. It was straight forward. Nothing broken. I decided that I'd like to have my nails more pointy this time, rather than square. She acted like she had no idea what making them pointy was and made them sharply squared as apparently she didn't want to do what I asked. I got pink and white. I asked if instead of that plain clear pink, I could have a polish not so clear but milky. I got a sharp No. With tip, which clearly was far too generous, in total my fill was $48. Will never go back there again. Actually, silly me, the previous time I was there, I told my self I would never go back again because she burned me with the drill and cut the side of my finger with the nail file which took a week to heal. So i walked in and immediately showed the lady the design i wanted for my nails and asked if she could do it. She said yea and sat me down, i picked out my colors and wanted my base to be nude with the design on top. I went in and showed my nail tech the picture of how I wanted my nails done. When she was almost done I noticed how my nails were not even close to the picture I had showed her. I told her my nails weren't coming out the way I had wanted and if she could please fix it and she stated she had another client. Therefore leaving me with nails nowhere close to how I wanted and on top of that still charging me $45 for a set of nails I was not satisfied with. I then left and called and spoke with the manager and she said I could go back and she would fix it. Had an appointment with a friend. They made us wait 25 minutes. Then didn't even sit us near each other for the pedicures. They were way over booked and rushing everything. My pedicure took 10 minutes and she cut me 3 times. Very unpleased. and won't ever come back. Ladies, are you looking for gel nails? The salons call the real, true gel nails "gel gels." I have gone into and called countless nail salons looking for these "gel gel" nail services, only I didn't know the code word before today. If you ask for "gel nails," they sit you down and put a "gel powder" on your nails and then follow up with the "gel" topcoat. These are not gel nails. In the Goodyear/Avondale/Litchfield Park area, I have found 3 salons to offer true gel nails. And, a warning, 2 of the 3 salons only have 1 technician who can provide this service. What to do? Go to Vivian Nails. Vivian Lee, the owner, did my nails today, but she said all of her staff can also offer the same service. Discounts are offered for seniors, students, school faculty and military. Also, since it was my first time in, she gave me 10% off. read more

I asked for the standard classic considering it was already over $20. She then asked if I wanted the deluxe so that I can get my dry heals smoothed out. When did that become an extra for a PEDICURE. SHE BASICALLY WASHED MY FEET AND PAINTED MY NAILS. I do not like wasting my money. So please do yourself a favor and save yours for the next salon. read more

My first time coming here for an eyebrow wax. Would definitely not recommend anyone getting eyebrows waxed here. My eyebrows look fine, but the experience was why I'm giving a bad rating. I waited 10-15 for someone to help me. Went back into the waxing room and the sheet of the table I laid on had many stains. Then who I think was Vivian, was on the phone the entire time she was helping me. It was obviously a personal call. Not to mention she was breathing all over my face while speaking on the phone. Also, I heard her drop the tweezers on the floor, then proceeded to use them without cleaning them or grabbing another pair. Sorry, but one of the younger manicurists ruined my nails. She soaked me in pure acetone for over ten minutes then used an electric file. She obviously had not been trained on how to remove gel nails before putting on a new set. Vivian had been recommended and perhaps if I had had her, things would be different.
