Having a lot of money already wrapped up in my guitar, I was a little hesitant to have the kind of work done that was necessary to reach my goal. He explained how he would have to remove about .095" of material from the saddle without having to adjust the neck (which he explained would not lower the action across the entire fret board). This made me nervous because the 2,000 dollar guitar was going to be modified forever. He has an Erlewine Neck Jig with a line of precision dial indicators for measuring neck deflection, and measuring tools to gauge the action. He explained the purpose of the tool to alleviate any apprehension I had about modifying my guitar. In the end, he lowered the action perfectly, and did a small adjustment on the truss rod so that the action was the same across the board. The end result was perfect. I have a friend who plays professionally who played it and said it was one of the smoothest and most playable guitars he ever enjoyed. Dave also set up my Gretsch 6120 and restrung it with flatwound strings and again, perfect. He is ultra-careful with the instruments brought into his shop. It was only an inexpensive timex, it had been loosing time, so I figured it just needed a new battery. I asked if he could change the battery in my watch,he said yes.I asked how much , he said $13 . I said ok, he took the watch and went back into his office. There was a window so I could see him at his desk. I could not actually see what was doing, assuming he was changing the battery.After about 10 minutes or so he came out handed me back my watch, charged me $13 and I left. After while I noticed my watch was still loosing time, so I figured since it had a new battery something else must be wrong with it. So I bought me another Timex watch to replace it. I set the older one on my dresser and after a couple of months out of curiosity I checked my old watch on the dresser and it had stopped running. Now if it had a new battery put in it back in Sept.,it should have been still working. I do believe he frauded me by not changing the battery and charging that he did.. I will not go there again.

Only after the delivery people left did I scrutinize the receipt and discover I had been charged $200 in sales tax. I called a different local medical supply place to make sure I hadn't been dreaming when thinking there would no tax on this device. They assured me there would not be. So I had to get back to Penn-York to have them refund the sales tax. "Gee, I can't imagine how you ended up being charged sales tax," my sales person eventually told me. I would guess either incompetence, or a hope that I would not question the sales tax, thinking I had misheard this, and everyone there could go out to dinner with that $200. He blamed it all on a computer glitch. I'd almost be willing to pay $200 just for the courtesy of not being yelled at when I called to point out that mistake. "I bill is wrong. I got charged more than I was supposed to..." I began. "I told you! If you paid with a credit card it would be an additional 3.5%!" my salesman yelled before I could explain the situation. "No, I was charged tax. I'm almost certain you told me that there would not be any tax because it was medical device." "There is no way you were charged tax!" "Well, I'm looking at my receipt, and there is a box labeled 'sales tax' and that box has $200 in it.'" Then there was some run around where first I'd get a refund check, then I was told they couldn't do that--the money would be refunded back to my credit card--and then it went back to sending me a check. At one point in the conversation I said something like, "Well, before you erroneously added $200 to my bill for tax..." and the lady I was talking to said, "How dare you say we did that erroneously! It was a simple error!" I had to say, "Lady, the word 'erroneously' means 'in error'." Gee, get an SAT review book and start studying some vocabulary words. Take my advice. Deal with UHS Home-care if you need to make a purchase.
