If I have an issue with my account the employees always do what they can to help me understand and deal with it. I believe the overdraft fee like all banks or credit unions is way too much. It should be a certain percentage of what your overdraft is. If your OD is $5 you are charged $35! However their loan rates are fantastic allowing us to buy a vehicle for around 8% instead of 22% which most loan companies wanted. I read about problems people have sometimes but that is a rarity as my husband and I have had an account with them for over 45 years! His parents had an account with them before us and I never heard them complain. Granted some employees are new but they always find someone more knowledgeable to help out. After such a long relationship with them, I can say all in all I have been very satisfied. If I have an issue it's always because I haven't been diligent in handling my account. When I have an ending balance, it is NEVER added in to the next months account.. I feel I am losing money, thinking about changing banks.

They really have no idea what they are doing. I took time out of my day to drive into the office to resolve an issue and I couldn't help thinking, why am I driving to a brick and mortar?? When I arrived they were clueless, then had an aha moment and gave me a phone number to call. So pleased that our relationship has come to an end and I look forward to their closing. read more

ATM hardly ever working. Staff not very friendly. Trees need trimmed hitting top of my Jeep.

Service sucks like the ATMs they have. Customer service acting like you are working for them instead of the other way around. This place has sure gone downhill over the years! I have been with them for probably over 15 years now and have been a very loyal customer even when moving to an area that made getting to a location slightly inconvenient. Over the years of banking, I've had several loans and a line of credit. Have always paid off loans and lines, and never deposited a fraud or bad check or had one bounce. Few years back while building my home they deposited several commercial checks for 10k+ without holding or issue. Then one day, I send my wife in our beater car to deposit a check from the same place and they want to put a 2 week hold on it. When I called in upset and not understanding why they would do so after so many others being ok for same or higher amount from the same place to the same people, the manager I spoke with would not and could not tell me their policy. Only that it was at the "tellers discretion" if they wanted to hold or not. When I got upset about that, they "called it in" and cleared the check. Fast forward after several more large deposits without issue they randomly do it again on a commercial farm check. Which at the time I call them out and ask them to call it in and they do. (check clears). Last year, I get a commercial grain check for my farming operation and they put a hold on it and refused to do anything ( I got over it and it was big $$). Over the course of the last year, I take several hay checks in without issue. Today they try to put another hold on another grain check. When asked to call it in, the teller told me she could lose her job for clearing it, then asked me to wait, got another lady who came out with an attitude off the rip telling me it would be held and there was nothing she could do. When asked why and what the current policy is, I received three different answers from three different people. One said it's anything over $500. but yet I deposited a 3k check last week with no problem. Other said checks can't be called in after nodding her head yes to me when asking if it initially started with teller discretion then saying no, that wasn't the case either. lol Was also told the routing number to the check "could have been compromised" per their system but they still couldn't check it or call the bank it came from. lol With extreme frustration I asked to close all accounts which they basically made me wait around another 10 minutes just to tell me that couldn't happen for a few days either. Even after keeping my cool, calmly explaining my frustration and loyalty with the bank only one of the three ladies I spoke too (the teller) really seemed to even care about losing my business at all. I left and went straight to the North Valley in Hebron whom I also have my mortgage through due to another truecore fail story and opened an account. I'll be closing out and getting away from these guys ASAP. Save your time and bank with someone who not only has your back and appreciates your business, but also understands farming or self employment or at least has consistency to what they are doing and know their own policy. You shouldn't have to guess if you are going to be able to get your money or not. read more

They are great at closing their drive through 5 mins early and telling you "sorry, we already turned the lights off." This has happened to me twice in a week. Apparently, turning the light off overrides their posted hours. Our local Chase branch told me they stay open 15 mins after closing to ensure everyone is served. And they are open until 7:00. read more

Everyone here is so nice. Very quick and efficient. Very helpful. Very nice. I've been with plenty of other banks and I prefer this one over all the others. read more
