Update to their response: you don't have a great water view. You have to get up and walk to the far side of the patio to see the water and even then it's obstructed at the bottom of a hill. Your patio sucks. It's still 50 degrees and it's still cold outside. The TV is also positioned badly so you have to sit awkwardly to see it. Make whatever excuse you want, but I had to walk through a great inside lounge to go outside in the cold to have a terrible view of the TV. It wasn't even worth finishing the cigar. I put it out in 10 minutes to go find somewhere else. Don't try to gaslight people. Your place was completely empty when I went in and the place I went to after your horrible experience had like 15 people in the lounge. I was just trying to be nice. Maybe you should post a picture of that "water view" you're so proud of that the rest of the world would call a sewer runoff canal. I would but I didn't find it worth taking a picture of. Make sure to include a picture of your terrible heaters so everyone knows what kind of joke they're dealing with here. Lol Hopefully everyone else notices that the pictures with more than one person in it was from "over 8 years ago". Not sure what happened here, but this place isn't it any more. read more

Finally got around to checking out this shop and honestly have had an awesome experience both visits. I initially steered clear due to the negatives I read on here about smoking outside. With that said, there's a massive covered gazebo with huge tree's creating plenty shade and multiple fans to where it's been more than comfortable! They have great selection of cigars all very reasonably priced. I believe mark is the name of the gentleman working each visit. Knowledgeable on cigars, very welcoming, great conversation, amazing freshly made coffee, and each visit came out multiple times to check on me. 5 star experience and honestly a great shop! Do not let the negatives of sitting outside stop you from visiting. I will be coming more frequently now! read more

I really enjoyed being able to have a good cigar and righteous coffee (no bourbon) while watching whatever we wanted, as we were given control over the remote. (Disclaimer: By we, I mean Christy...) I mainly come in for hookah products for home and smoking during lunch breaks on occasion. The hookah is really good and the customer service is great. Never once had an issue. Friends of mine also recommend the cigars here and the selection is pretty good especially for being in this part of Florida. The only downside, and I mean literally the only one, is that if you want to smoke at the establishment it has to be outside. However, this is a nice view of the river, ample seating, and an enclosed area for inclement weather or just avoiding the annoying bugs that Florida will occasionally throw at you. read more

Family vacations with in-laws are brutal sometimes. Especially for non-alcohol drinkers I've always prayed for a place to drink delicious coffee and smoke cigars. Well, prayers answered because Hot Spot is freaking awesome. The cigar selection is fantastic with plenty of typical sticks, as well slightly more obscure selections like "Eiroa the First 20 Years." In fact, that's the exact cigar I smoked and wow was it fantastic. While the cigars were great, they weren't what took this from a 4 to 5 star experience. The coffee, single origin beans (mine was Costa Rican) fresh ground and brewed (I had mine iced) was wonderful. As a companion to my cigar, it was perfect. Finally, what totally sealed the deal was the knowledgeable, friendly staff and the fantastic shaded deck area. I highly recommend Hot Spot to anyone seeking a chill getaway for cigars and coffee. I stopped in yesterday to buy a couple of my fav cigars. I asked if they had them and the worker said "yes" and pointed. I walked over and saw a box of "crazy Alice" my fav Drew Estates smokes. But then she said "but I cannot sell to you". I said "whaa?" Then I was told I'd have to buy a membership to purchase them. Huh??? I drove there specifically to purchase cigars. If this is a members only cigar shop they should advertise as such. Otherwise they need to not display stock and then refuse to sell. It's rude and a poor business model IMO. This is one of the best cigar stores I've been to in a long time. They've got a great selection of cigars and the girl who was working there both times knew more about cigars than anyone I've talked to. I'm convinced she's smoked every cigar in there. Seriously, she was an allstar on cigar knowledge. The only downside to this place is that you can't drink a beer while smoking inside unless you're a member. If I lived there, yeah I might be a member, but I'm just visiting. Nonetheless, I went back here twice and enjoyed my cigars both times. Two big issues with this cigar shop. First, they have a gigantic inside air conditioned lounge. You can't sit in it though because the owner doesn't like smoke. You have to sit outside even though it's 90 degrees. Yeah, the owner of a cigar shop doesn't like smoke so now you have to sit in 90 degree weather. Figure that one out. Secondly, if they ever get anything actually good in, you have to be a member to buy it AND you have to buy 30 dollars in merchandise beforehand. None of the other cigar shops around have these horrible limitations, so just go elsewhere. Also they blame COVID for everything even though no one else has these problems. Notice all the positive reviews are either like 5 years old or are people saying "I don't really like cigars". Do the math. Or skip the math and just go to another shop. read more

Even more strange since it seems like they have a decent lounge. Cigar selection is fairly small but should work if you're just here on vacation. Lots of pipes and rolling papers and stuff for sale.
