Great staff.. However, the Store Manager not only does not care about the express line. He lets his friend, Ashley, who had been sitting in the store for 5 seconds, jump right ahead without even being checked in online or in person. Super slow. Beneva location has unfriendly male receptionist. Just stares at you when you enter. Awkward. Every time I've been it's sooooooooo slow. It's not because they are slammed, just so slow. I wonder what they are doing!!!! They have no menu at one store and the other is scanned on the phone. Dumb. Staff isn't super friendly. Weird for a weed store. Most staff at these places are in the best mood!!! I only come here for convenience on location. I would not recommend this business! They use to be good . Even online orders you have to go sit and wait and wait even when you check in before you get there . They say true host is ready for you but I have been sitting here for 15 minutes. The woman at the front desk says that express pick up is a sham you still have to wait just as long as shoppers . I am a little biased, as I used to work at Trulieve...but I am very happy with the Sarasota location. I went today, not crowded at all and got instant service. Ryan B was fantastic, he offered advice and made sure I got all my discounts. As a former worker, I understood the frustration staff has with not enough help, which is a scheduling problem, not the workers. If everyone would just relax and enjoy the fact that that you are getting quality products at a good price. I am old and remember waiting on street corners looking for pot. I've been going to Trulieve Sarasota as soon as they opened. Prior to that I had to drive to Bradenton. I don't drive much anymore so Michael usually delivers my medical goods to me. He's incredibly kind and nice to work with. Most of the staff have been very nice and very useful except for the one I got for my last order. She made me feel rushed and wanted me to hang up and call back instead of guiding me through some new products. She had a wicked bad attitude And raised my anxiety levels and nerves. nonetheless , Michael saved the day ( following) and came with his smiling face and cheerful attitude. Terrible service you always have a long wait and their "express Lane" is just a lie. You can watch them call customers in the same order they walked in the door regardless if you ordered online or are shopping. I always shop online and it doesn't do any good when it comes to "express" checkout BS The last time I was there some dude working the front sat on his elbows claiming they were understaffed. So why don't you get off your elbows and go work the fake express lane checkout? Never been back and don't miss it at all. It's also one of the most expensive in the area. read more

even if you order on line, you have to wait an hour plus to get your stuff...i get that ppl don't always order on line but at least alternate between walk ins and those who ordered on line. walked in at 10am, with a on line order, it's been one hour and I'm still sitting and waiting for the 3.5g i ordered at 8am on line.... my rant was fair in its point but wasn't fair to the fact they are so short handed. the guy i saw once inside explained and was actually really decent knowing people (like me) we frustrated and they take it out on them... so it's a decent store, be prepared to wait!! read more

This place is absolutely terrific in almost every way. They generally have a good variety of flower to choose from and if you go in the morning when they open on the right day, you'll get not just your pick of the shipment but great deals on things called Minis and Ground Flower. If that's not your thing, this store puts the High in Verhighety, and the staff are generally knowledgeable enough to give you the info you need about whichever. My favorite part about this store in particular is its customer service. If you have any problem whatsoever with any product, opened, used, or whatever, they will exchange it for you, no questions asked. So if your interested in trying out a particular product and decide you don't like it, it's essentially risk free! What more could you ask for!? Now here are the things I DONT like. The rewards program does not compare to somewhere like Vidacann's, which places a dollar amount discount after x number of accrued points. Trulieve does 10% off a purchase for every 500 or so you spend, and if you decide you want to save your points for a nicer reward you will be disappointed as rewards milestones cannot be stacked. EBT/SNAP holders, seniors, and veterans will enjoy a built in 10% discount in every purchase and receive an additional 10% off for rewards. For someone like me though, their customer service and product are enough to warrant a 5 star rating despite this. Last thing - make sure you know what you want before you enter the launch codes and make your purchase, because the policy is once the transaction is done, your at the back of the line, even if you just forgot 1 thing. I get the reason for these rules but I had an online order once and still had to wait for the whole lobby. I asked that since I waited for everyone who was in the room when I got there anyway if I could ask about minis and got a reluctant "Sorry, no." I get the need for such a policy at such a high volume location but that little aspect is very obnoxious. read more

Trulieve has drastically changed for the worse. Staff at my location are great however there is hardly any staff working lately resulting in long lines and waits as well as jeopardizing security. This is not a staff caused problem, it is a Corporate caused problems as at my Florida location the staff stated to me they want to work however Corporate says no to it. For a growing company this practice would seem more like a company in trouble. Completely has ruined what was a good experience. read more

I've been to this dispensary 3 times now and I've been disappointed every single time. The first time I came here, I waited nearly an hour. They ran out of flower which was so disappointing considering that's what I want. I looked online and saw the $27 mini flower- I made a plan to go in on Wednesday morning- got there at 945am before they opened. I counted that I was number 12 when I got in. I didn't get called back until after 1115am. I watched people who came in after me with no online orders get called back first. Once I got back-They were out of the cheaper mini flower but conveniently had the $43 larger nugs . I won't return to this business. $43-$55 for an eighth is a rip off. UPDATE- I wrote this while waiting in the lobby. I got to the back after waiting forty minutes to be told they have no flower. There was no sign or anything at the front desk. GO TO MUV! read more

Super crowded and the front desk guy just ignored a lady telling him there's no toilet paper or soap in the bathroom.

The staff here are friendly and accommodating, but the problem is they do not stock enough. Tonight's special, 1/2 oz or a 1/4 oz, announced via email at 2:30, had sold out of both within an hour. Bellos pods have been unavailable for several weeks, and concentrates ditto with the exception of very grainy wax. Flower has lately been more available but I believe that's because what they are selling is mostly below 17% THC, which is fine for a frail octogenarian woman with glaucoma but is about like drinking weak coffee for us more desensitized tokers. It's been this way for the last year so they should have figured it out by now. I'm guessing management doesn't have experience with weed stores or is an exceptionally slow learner. read more

Was told by CS there were 5 9lb hammers. was called by very nice lady, " The system says we have 12 here but I have looked through everything and I can't find any. " "CS says you have 5 so I'll come in to pick up with flower." 1 person in waiting room. 22 min to get in back, to be told, "We have it. It says we do. We have 12." I usually go by the store, but since my cancer prohibits me from doing much driving, I have my order delivered. Michael W., and his driver, Devin, are part of the delivery team and, they are the total bomb. Michael is professional, kind, fun, courteous and extremely accommodating with my delivery. Can't say enough good things about #Trulieve and it's staff. Ive been to Clearwater, Bradenton and now Sarasota. They know what strain does what and can answer every question I have. Do I wish they had more products? Yes. Do I also wish the prices were lower? Of course, but that's not Trulieve's fault. The fault lies with the old Florida legislators who still believe in Reefer Madness. One would think when 71% vote for actual marijuana in all forms, we should get Marijuana in all forms. I'm sure over time the product inventory will grow. The more states that legalize, the lower prices will come. For those complaining about the wait, I've waited hours to see a pain management doctor and then more time at the pharmacy. The longest I've waited at Trulieve was 30 minutes. So cool your jets, while we all try and figure out this crazy States semi-legalized medicinal weed. Or you could always move to Alabama. I placed my order the day before I am picking up. No charges to my order so why no Express Pick Up? They just keep giving the same excuses short on staff! Despite being able to place my order online and checking in through my phone, completely eliminating any hassle at the dispensary. I still am waiting for over 30 minutes no matter the time or day when I go to pick up my product. The entire in store process is less than pleasant and unwelcoming from staff and not on just one occasion but every single time I go in as I've stated previously. 0/10 do not recommend will not be coming back. A full 24hrs after placing an order (no shorts when placed), I get a call, "nothing you ordered we have in stock". Glad to see the new & improved computer system is worse than the prior system. Come on Trulieve, by now this terrible inventory management system should be a very distant memory, but worse? I don't write reviews. I generally don't care enough to "get involved". However, my trip to Trulieve - Sarasota wasn't only disappointing, it was basically the end to my business relationship with this client. I'm going to start off by saying that I'm not a pot-head. There's nothing wrong with choosing this lifestyle, but it just isn't my journey. First of all, there is the wait. Now, a lot of people have opined about said wait, and I'm guessing they weren't lying to you. Second, is the staff. The guy at the front desk was nice enough, but that's about where it ends. Once you get into "the room", that might change. It all depends on if you're willing to buy what they're currently selling, or you could be like me and just get f'd around while you're trying to buy what you really want. The kid I dealt with? I wouldn't hire him for anything. The guy was lazy. They didn't have any of what I wanted, even though it was prominently being displayed. I felt like I was inconveniencing him. Long wait + poor customer service = ????? Look, I have a "phat" discount coming to me the next time I visit this establishment... and I will never go back. If you have a problem at their other stores go to Osprey. Hardly ever a wait and knowledge people.

Hey again, this is just a review about the company being more medically inclined and interested in patient problems. The associates aren't all trained very well in leading medical conversations. They seem a little scared in offering advice, which makes sense because they're all sales associates not med students but this is a medical facility. It's not a cool network of pot heads, even though it appears like that visually, but in all realities the company really needs to focus its team on proper conversations and dialogues with patients. Proper advice: for some reason my sales associate told me I didn't have to put my label on my product but I'm pretty it is the law... With long wait lines it can feel rushed especially when more then two people are in line in the retail space (not out in the lobby with the others in waiting). I want to be able to have easier going dialogues with this associates whom were hired to help. I want some "hey, how's your back? How's your pain today? what are you're plans to prevent pain this week?" I want patients folders to have a more clinical tracking sheet. And to be encouraged to track. Plus some times only men are working and as a women I feel like I'm getting eye-balled and often feel flirted with...which isn't good because again, I'm here for medical relief and guidance and people focused on just* that.
