Been here 2x - [[HIGHLIGHT]]good food, good service, nice atmosphere, and nice decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Singapore noodles could use more curry, IMO. Otherwise, this is a solid spot that is fairly priced.

You guys! This place is freaking good! We ordered General Taos chicken, Sesame chicken and chicken lo- mein. Our food arrived fast and oven hot! Great flavor. We are just so impressed! We will go here again soon! Just delicious!

My favorite Chinese takeout in the area! The food is always piping hot and fresh. Whenever I have a craving for Chinese food, Truly Asia wins almost every time. The ingredients all taste so fresh and everything is cooked to perfection. I typically order the chicken or beef & broccoli, general Tso's chicken, pork or veggie fried rice, and spring rolls. We've gotten a bunch of other things too, but those are the staples we always go back to. I'm really picky about ordering chicken from Chinese restaurants, but theirs is tender & juicy and not overcooked. The food is prepared quickly and everything travels well. It is on the pricier side. The portions are very generous so you do get your money's worth, however it isn't ideal for someone ordering for themselves without having to pay $50 for 2-3 items. I wish they would add a combo platter option to their dinner menu like a half portion of chicken and broccoli, fried rice and a spring roll for $13-$14. I would order from here more if they had something like that as it's just too much food and expensive to order for one person. Also wish they had traditional egg rolls and not just the spring rolls. The food is so good and I'm glad they're local.

Not impressed to be honest! Came here to try tonight being new in town and walking in I was impressed how nice and clean it was inside with very modern Asian flair. Got seated right away because we were the only people there. A few turn offs were the lady constantly sweeping the restaurant including user our feet and table while we were seated. Food was very Panda Express tasting and was not very impressive. We had the Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Pork fried rice and chicken pad thai. Food was edible but not very impressed at all. Won't be hurrying back that's for sure.

Great food, exactly what I expected. They also threw in a large hot and sour soup on the house! Really appreciated it. Ordered kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, combo fried rice, chicken lo mein and rangoon. Classic Chinese food, great value for the large portion size.

This place was fine. While I have no complaints, it also didn't impress me in anyway. Though if you're local and looking for reasonable priced Chinese food, this place is a safe bet. Though I will say their decor in here is fantastic- maybe it won't be to others taste, but I thought the inside of this place looked really cool!

First time ordering from this place, and it was exactly what I was looking for. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The service was very friendly too. Officially my new Chinese Takeout spot.

Is the sesame chicken spicy at all? My kids think any amount of spice is too much but love mild sesame.

If “any” amount spice than you’re taking a chance. Ask them to make is Super mild, Bland it will taste, but you will be safe. Best to just go places like panda express than, for american tastebuds.

Do they have gluten free items?

Yes. We have gluten free items. Please have the server tell our kitchen for gluten free items when you dine in our restaurant.

Do you have any Happyhour specials?

I'd say the consensus was overall positive. But we do have some critique. I had the drunken noodles with pork and mild spice. It was tasty. I enjoyed the sauce, but the pork was tough and there weren't many vegetables. The pork was better as a leftover later. I ordered this because it listed veggies. But those were sparsely placed. Perhaps I needed to ask for extra. My husband had Moo Ping very mild. He said it was tasty, but again, the pork was chewy, hard for him. The rice was so hard, he couldn't cut it with his fork. So that went uneaten. My friends went hotter and it seemed their meals were better. She had Grandma's Pad Thai. I tasted it. Yummy. He had a very hot curry that I didn't try, but he seemed to enjoy it. If I went back, I'd get her dish. They also ordered three appetizers. Edamame might have been frozen. They were mushy to me. And no salt that I detected, so bland. I didn't put enough sauce on the golden tofu, I guess. The others enjoyed it. My husband really liked it. And we all enjoyed the shrimp tempura. My friend also had a mixed drink and seemed to enjoy that. It was quiet enough that we could catch up and it's in between where we live. In all, a good experience, with both hits and misses.

I came in on a very busy day of the year so am rounding up since the staff was working really hard to get orders out the door. I ordered a large chicken pho and roasted pork fresh spring rolls to go. The portion of pho broth and bean sprouts was great, but the amount of chicken was a bit disappointing (about 6 total pieces of shredded chicken). Broth was just ok, I added quite a bit of sriracha, lime, basil, and hoisin sauce and still felt it lacked some flavor. The spring roll portion size was great and I loved the massive serving of peanut sauce. The roasted pork inside was incredibly dry. I'd probably opt for tofu or shrimp next time.

You know a place is good when we come twice in a row during vacation!…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I was craving Thai food. As I hail from CA, we have plenty of authentic Thai restaurants to choose from. As such, I was looking for a small, authentic Thai place near Brighton, where the show was being held. Ponsawan came recommended, and I was immediately drawn to this place especially with its namesake. Some of the best Thai places I've been to have "difficult"-sounding names. It was dinner the first time we went, and we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly, and gave us time to peruse the menu. I went with the pineapple fried rice while my husband went with the pork pad Thai. The pineapple fried rice had a lovely wok hei and there were plenty of fresh pineapples as well. I loved the cashews on the side, and the crispy cucumbers. Portion size was perfect. My husband's pad Thai was saucy and tamarind-y. Personally, I prefer a drier pad Thai, but he enjoyed this, I think mainly because of how strong the tamarind flavor was. Our server asked if we wanted to try the mango sticky rice since she said it was mango season, but we politely declined. The next day, we were both craving Ponsawan again, so we came for a late lunch. The owner recognized us and welcomed us back in. This time, we also got drinks and an app. I went with the Thai tea and my husband went with the Thai coffee. Both were not too sweet and a good strength. The app we chose was the dumplings, which were fried to perfection and came with the most delicious dipping sauce. As far as our entrees, I went with the pork pad kee mao and my husband went with the yellow curry fried rice. Our server apparently heard his order incorrectly and gave him the pineapple fried rice, but apologized and was quick to rectify the situation. As such, I received my food first, and had to wait a few more minutes before we could eat together. The pad kee mao had the perfect amount of spice, and the pork was tender. The yellow curry fried rice again had a lovely wok hei and the curry powder was delightfully pungent. Both times we dined, our food didn't take long to arrive at all. I'd say less than 15 minutes for both of our dishes. They had lunch specials, but for the price point of the entrees, it was a no brainer to just order entrees. The food was super affordable and the portion sizes were not skimpy at all. Not huge, but definitely not skimpy. Ponsawan is easily on my favorites list for the Denver area and we will most certainly be back the next time we go to CO! (I will also need to try their curries, so that is a high priority for our next visit.)
