My favorite Chinese takeout in the area! The food is always piping hot and fresh. Whenever I have a craving for Chinese food, Truly Asia wins almost every time. The ingredients all taste so fresh and everything is cooked to perfection. I typically order the chicken or beef & broccoli, general Tso's chicken, pork or veggie fried rice, and spring rolls. We've gotten a bunch of other things too, but those are the staples we always go back to. I'm really picky about ordering chicken from Chinese restaurants, but theirs is tender & juicy and not overcooked. The food is prepared quickly and everything travels well. It is on the pricier side. The portions are very generous so you do get your money's worth, however it isn't ideal for someone ordering for themselves without having to pay $50 for 2-3 items. I wish they would add a combo platter option to their dinner menu like a half portion of chicken and broccoli, fried rice and a spring roll for $13-$14. I would order from here more if they had something like that as it's just too much food and expensive to order for one person. Also wish they had traditional egg rolls and not just the spring rolls. Let me first say that there is very little good Chinese food in Colorado. Most is on par with a frozen TV dinner but this place was a very nice surprise. It's our go-to place for Chinese now but i will say as one reviewer pointed out that their fried rice is weak. Needs to be better but everything else is good. Dont like the canned drinks though. I have a big problem with a restaurant charging $2.50 for 1 can drink when i know they paid about .40 for it. Get a fountain drink machine read more

The food here is amazing! The general Tso's chicken was crunchy while also bring sweet. Also their pot stickers and the soy sauce they used was thick and much better than regular soy sauce. Not impressed to be honest! Came here to try tonight being new in town and walking in I was impressed how nice and clean it was inside with very modern Asian flair. Got seated right away because we were the only people there. A few turn offs were the lady constantly sweeping the restaurant including user our feet and table while we were seated. Food was very Panda Express tasting and was not very impressive. We had the Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Pork fried rice and chicken pad thai. Food was edible but not very impressed at all. We tried Truly Asia on Christmas Eve. We'd never been but saw great reviews on the community FB page. First thing I noticed on the online ordering were the prices and that the entrees didn't include rice. There were no family dinners offered and everything was priced separately. It was about $15 more than our normal place but no biggie, we wanted to try it. The sauce for lemon chicken was not something we cared for. The hot and sour soup was okay but prob my favorite item that was ordered. It was spicy but not thick like we're used to. Spring rolls were underwhelming, as were the gyoza. Overall, I'm sure this is a great place for those who eat here consistently and used to the flavors and cooking style. We may try again with a few of our other reg selections but it wasn't my favorite. read more

This restaurant has it all and it's reasonably priced. A selection from Japanese, Cantonese, to Indonesian, and many more. The portions are large, great to share family style. Extremely disappointed. We have eaten here many times over the last four years and always were happy. Today it became apparent that new cooks were brought in and much cheaper ingredients are being used. The chicken lo mein noodles are clearly undercooked spaghetti. The rice in the fried rice was so overcooked it was soggy with no flavor. And the orange chicken was just dried chicken nuggets with orange food coloring. Stay away from this awful place. read more

I've never had worse Chinese food in my life and I lived in the south for five years. The chicken skewers had a nasty peanut sauce that was watery and completely unappetizing. The fried rice smells like it was cooked with bad eggs and smells equally disgusting. I tasted it and now I can't finish it. The Singapore noodles are supposed ti be spicy but they have no flavor. I live in Portland, I'm here on business. Next time I come to town, I won't be returning here. I would steer clear if I were anyone reading this review. read more

The staff is adjusting to the newness and traffic I think. But they tried hard to be attentive and are very friendly and welcoming. Since it was my first time, I tried what I thought would be a safe meal. I got a Beijing style combo meal. It started with a choice of soup, so I chose a hot and sour soup which was great. In the combo, the sweet and sour chicken was 90% breading and the sauce was decent. The chow mein was also alright. My friend got the ma po tofu with pork. They completely transformed this place! It used to be a hole in the wall buffet with subpar food that all tasted the same. Now it actually has ambience. I like the large print menus with photos. Was hoping for more authentic Chinese food, but it's more of a hodgepodge of different Asian ethnicities. Our group got a variety of dishes and everyone liked what they ordered with the exception of the pineapple fried rice, just didn't taste right to my friend. The hot tea was also very good and served in a special pot. They do not have a liquor license yet. I also like that it's a mom and pop place and the owner waits tables himself. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his business. Love that he wears a tie! So sweet. The food may not be the best you've ever had, but there's no reason for such nastiness in the one negative review. I urge you to give this new local business a try. If only the Chinese food was as good as the decor! My wife and I came here in search of good Chinese in the Broomfield area, which we haven't found since Li's changed hands. We came for a late lunch on a Friday, and were the only patrons at that time. The layout and decorations are really quite nice, as is the service and the menus themselves. They obviously totally gutted the less-than-mediocre Chinese-ish buffet that previously occupied that space. My wife ordered her Chinese go-to dish: Kung Pao Chicken, with egg drop soup. They don't have my go-to, Twice-Cooked Pork, so I wandered about the menu and ended up with Thai - Drunken Noodles with Chicken, marked as a "chef's pick", and hot/sour soup. Two hot oolong teas, and we were set. Tea came first, and I really kind of like the clear glass pot it came in (see photo). It was also quite good. One whole star in the ratings is for this alone. The hot and sour soup was quite decent. I would have been happier were it a bit more spicy, but being spicy at all is apparently an achievement in this neck of the woods; at least it's far from the hot soy sauce I've been served elsewhere. The egg drop soup wasn't bad, but just OK. I really enjoyed the drunken noodles & shrimp. The shrimp were large and plentiful, the noodles properly cooked (very firm al dente), and the sauce on the noodles had the very slightly spicy odd tang that denotes decent Thai food to me. Could have been spicier (of course), but it was quite acceptable. I'd have it again. The kung pao chicken was another story. It **also** had that Thai tang, which it definitely should NOT have had, and my wife does not like at all. In addition: It had so much sauce, and the sauce was so thin, that after eating a little it was more like soup than a main dish. Very very unsatisfactory. I generally shy away from so-called pan-asian places other than the highest end where unique cross-cultural combinations in each dish are created. The more usual "We do Chinese and Thai and Singaporean and Japanese and Korean and the kitchen sink" - heck, no restaurant can do that well without a separate chef for each, and they'd fight with each other. Truly Asia suffers from this. We've only had two dishes (four if you count soup), so it's hard to say, but our sample so far says they have a Thai guy who's decent but doesn't get "American Chinese". So if you like Thai, go there. Otherwise, well, let us know how you fare. Oh, and note to owners - fire whoever provides your fortune cookies. They're tough and tasteless and have stupid fortunes. read more

First of all, this place always had fast and friendly service. Food came out piping hot. I've had take out orders before of the Americanized dishes like beef/broccoli, cashew chicken, etc. Those dishes tasted good and would earn 4-5 stars from me. This time, I was trying out their beef chow fun and chicken chow mein with crispy noodles. This is where they missed the mark. The beef chow fun- some of the noodles were hard and stuck together, not soft and smooth like how it's supposed to be. Next, I would suspect it's the same for all the dishes under the category of "chow mein". If it is in that category, I would actually expect chow mein (noodles) to be included as part of the dish. Instead, I got a container of the veggies with chicken and a bag of fried dough/wonton strips. I would return but unfortunately not my first choice nor those two particular dishes. read more
