We hadn't been here in years but were in the area so decided to stop here for lunch on Saturday. The service was extremely quick, my meal was good, and the prices are super fair! Our food came out in probably 5 minutes from when we ordered, with soup and wonton chips being served prior to that. I ordered the sesame tofu lunch plate which included a very generous portion of tofu, fried rice, soup, an egg roll, & a crab rangoon. I very much liked the sesame tofu, and had enough leftover for a full second meal. My parents ordered the pad thai and weren't super impressed, but my partner said his sesame chicken was good. This is my second time ordering takeout because the Chinese options in this area are slim. Wasn't very impressed the first time but couldn't really remember what I didn't like. This time I'm reviewing immediately so I don't forget Ordered general chicken, egg drop soup and crispy noodles(only $1 but should be complimentary) I also requested a side of hot chili oil but got some sort of sauce that tasted like ketchup the soup was bland and the chicken was ok and a good amount but they buried the few pieces of broccoli under all the chicken and it was completely soggy. United Chinese is 9 miles from my home and there are multiple other Chinese restaurants closer. But I am a huge fan of their Pad Thai and it's worth the drive. My husband's go to is their Kung Pao beef. We've always been greeted as soon as we enter the door and have never had to wait to be seated. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and the food is served quickly. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. We have also gotten takeout about half a dozen times. It is always ready when we arrive to pick it up and steamy hot. I don't know how they manage to time it so well when we have to drive 9 miles and traffic on either Wadsworth or Sheridan at dinner time can mess with anyone's schedule but they do. The biggest rip off of all time. Their food used to be delicious but now they just fill your order with onion, green pepper, red pepper. They also charge you anywhere from 1 to 3 dollars per order without your authorization. I will never ever order from this place again, they are unscrupulous and unethical business owners. read more

Pretty good. Got sweet and sour chicken. The chicken could have had a little more seasoning. But the sweet and sour sauce was nice. The fried rice needed more seasoning. It wasn't the right color and there was ZERO egg in it. The crab rangoons were okay. A little over done, but the creme inside is nice. Could use a little more filling. The fortune cookies have a hint of vanilla taste which is nice. Overall it's all okay. I probably wouldn't order from them again though. Mostly because of the fried rice. read more

If I could I put only "0" star (( The 1- I ordered the family meal and we got that meal with pork included, but my family doesn't eat pork( but I checked my order few times and I didn't see the pork in that options of family meal). And 2- the delivery guy asked my husband for the tips right in his face before he was going to give him all delivery bag with food, I think it was so rude and so disrespectful because we always tipped but when you ask for it it may looks that restaurant very very bad. Also we're waiting for our food so long... Food was expensive, not enough meat for that money most of them were only vegetables... It was my the 1st and my last last last order from that restaurant. This was the worst experience I've had at this restaurant. I completely understand it's Christmas Day and orders can be backed up. But I went in an hour after I ordered and my food wasn't ready. I was told it wasn't going to be ready for another hour. I never got an estimated time for pick up and the guy at the counter said "well no one else had any issues."
