Those early months felt supported and guided, and we appreciated how she helped us lay the groundwork for our year-long planning journey, as well as helping us try to get the best 'bang for our buck'. We chose the middle-tier gold planning package, which meant she was with us throughout the entire year. Looking back, we felt that the middle portion of planning was quieter than expected, with long stretches of minimal communication or updates. Because of that, we honestly think couples who prefer lighter involvement might have a better experience with her "month-of" package, since that seems to align more naturally with the areas where she was the most active and present. As we approached the final stretch, things became a bit more stressful. The timeline was finalized later than expected and included several mistakes, which made us feel uneasy heading into the wedding week. At the rehearsal, it felt like some key details we had clarified earlier didn't fully carry over, leading to some confusion. We also often felt like our requests were met with hesitation rather than collaboration or compromise, which added to the pressure of those final days. Instead of a "that sounds great, let's see how we can make that work!", a lot of our ideas were met with a "here's what I think we should do instead." With our package, she does have a full google sheets planner, that you are responsible for filling out (understandably so). However, it felt as though these were prioritized over actual communication. For this reason, looking back I think the 'month-of' contract would've been maybe a better fit and a planner guide could be purchased on etsy. All of that said, we want to acknowledge that on the actual wedding day, she was very helpful and very present, and we ended up having a truly beautiful wedding. We're grateful for the effort she put in, especially early on, and we know she has strengths that many couples will appreciate. With more consistent communication throughout the full planning period, a bit more attention to detail in the end stages, and appreciating and compromising on the couples ideas, we think future clients could have a better experience.

I didn't really have a clear vision on what I wanted, but at least a rough idea of specific colors. Maria was incredibly helpful with her recommendations, and guiding me through the various options available. She also did not try to push me in any particular direction and gave me the space I needed to make my choices. We exchanged a few emails after our initial meeting to hammer out some other details, and each time, Maria was very gracious in offering up her time and availability, despite it being a very busy season. The day of the wedding, I didn't even have to think about a thing as everything was completely set up while I was getting ready. The flowers all looked beautiful and really added another layer of elegance to our special day. Her years of experience show in how she handles her clients, her knowledge of all things flowers, and the wedding industry in general. I definitely recommend working with her, you will not be disappointed!

My daughter is autistic and non-violent -- she just wants to play and be included. On multiple visits, whenever one particular staff member is working, her kids and their cousins are there, and the interactions with my child have been unkind and exclusionary. During one visit they were taunting her, and on another I had to step in and ask them to stop following her around and telling her she couldn't play with things. Another parent (the father of one of the kids) was standing there and even told them they needed to stop following her if they weren't going to be nice, so the issue was acknowledged in the moment. The situation escalated when my daughter lost her footing in the bounce house and accidentally landed near one of the kids. The child then told her mom that my daughter pinched her, which is not what happened -- I was standing right there the entire time. As a parent, it's really hard to watch your child be singled out or misunderstood, especially in a place that's supposed to feel safe and fun. What was also frustrating was that when I asked the staff member for the owner's email so I could address my concerns directly, she refused to provide it and said she wasn't allowed to share it. I found that disappointing, as I was simply trying to communicate respectfully with management about a serious concern. I'm sharing this because I hope management takes it seriously. This felt avoidable, and I wish the environment had been better monitored so all kids could play comfortably. I ultimately requested a refund for my remaining play days because I no longer feel comfortable bringing my child back.

As a mom of 3 with all my kids under 5, this was such a lifesaver and completely stress free. Liz was incredibly easy to communicate with and so responsive, and Mia was just as wonderful on the day of the party. Both were kind, patient, and beyond helpful the entire time. I was able to actually enjoy my child's birthday instead of running around, which says a lot. The decor was absolutely beautiful, our guests would not stop complimenting it. If I could pick just one word to describe The Vineyards and our wedding day? Magical. I had…read moretoured many venues in the Ventura County area, but none of them struck me the way The Vineyards did. I had a really good feeling upon pulling up to the venue, as it was clear there was ample parking. Not only that, but the greenery is well maintained and it looks absolutely stunning. It's easy to see from any of the photos, but being there in person just doesn't do it all justice. Every corner of the venue is well thought out and beautiful. The lights and greenery that make up the archways just gave the place an enchanting feel. THE VENUE/PLANNING: I knew I wanted a "garden" feel for my wedding and having attended 2 weddings leading up to my own, those experiences guided some of the more practical criteria I was looking for in a venue: -indoor/outdoor options for weather consideration -More than 2 bathrooms/toilets -Getting ready area for groom (in a lot of venues, there's some kind of bridal suite, but Groom facilities are more hit and miss) -photo op areas (plentiful!) -Large parking lot The Vineyards easily met all of these parameters and more. Aside from the above, I do want to note the HUGE bridal suite area with couches, tables and its own bathroom. I did not have a bridal party, but this can easily accommodate 15+ people. There were also 2 "ceremony" location options to choose from (garden or waterwall), and distinct areas for the cocktail and reception. There are so many little photo op nooks around the grounds that your guests can walk around during cocktail hour and enjoy the vibes. In the planning months leading up to our wedding day, The Vineyards was always very flexible and accommodating. They have a portal system which keeps all the important information in one place, in terms of information that they need, deadlines, correspondence, food choices, etc. Our wedding was in February 2026, definitely with the potential for rain. The venue (and all my vendors) were right there with me tracking the weather to see how it would play out. Luckily, it did not rain (down-poured the next day though!), and we were able to keep the ceremony in the Garden area. They did have options available to move the ceremony inside in case it were to have rained, and they went over a few details in preparation just in case. As other reviews have said, they offer a "Vendor Package" which I highly recommend. There are multiple vendor options within each category, but it is a huge perk that these vendors have the familiarity already, and really know where things are at the venue. I was very happy with all the vendors I chose; I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of them. THE STAFF: We met with Shadi, who first toured us around the venue. She is super sweet and very personable. She gave us a lot of detailed information and answered all the questions we had. We had even asked to tour the venue at night and she absolutely accommodated us, and turned on all the features so we could really get an idea of what it would all look like. Everything there is even more stunning at night, when all the lights are on. Shadi ended up going on maternity leave before our wedding and we were helped by Soroor and Jim, who were also incredibly helpful in all the questions that I had. Soroor was there the day of as well and helped me with my outfit right before the ceremony started. Jim was also there in the morning to help with a few setup items. Deana was our coordinator for the day and she is an absolute ROCKSTAR! We briefly met her during the food tasting, but we really got to see her in action at our rehearsal. I could tell immediately that she is someone that is incredibly organized, detail oriented and absolutely knows what she's doing. She is always thinking of the couple and doesn't make you feel like you're just another number. She was with us every step of the way from the start of the ceremony, making sure we had food and drinks during break times, keeping us on schedule with wherever we needed to be, handling and corralling difficult family with grace, and just generally checking in with us and how we were doing throughout the evening. It can be an overwhelming day, but it really does fly by, and having her there to guide us through it all is a big reason for why our wedding went as well as it did. We couldn't imagine having a different coordinator to keep us comfortable & stable. She made us feel that if anything were to have happened, we would be able to deal with it, no problem. We interacted with some of the wait staff during the Food Tasting as well, and not so much on our actual wedding day, but I received good feedback from our guests that all were attentive, friendly and professional. I genuinely feel that the team at The Vineyards really does care about making your day the best it can possibly be.
