Are you looking for somewhere to make your own perfume? If so look no further because this is the place. This business offer classes to make your own perfume/cologne. I had went to a class on Sunday and it was wonderful. The business owners were very friendly and explained everything very well. The class was fun and very informative. I loved how at the end of making our perfume we got to do a toast. They have wonderful decor which makes it a great setting. Prices are very reasonable. They do corporate parties along with private parties. You will not be disappointed with attending a class here.

    Creativity in action!

I haven't been in this new location very often, but I do here when in search of something rare in the way of a fragrance. Now, I would say that Moorman's probably caters more to the classic and likely won't have the latest of the latest like Nordstrom, but I have found items here that I cannot find anyplace else - at in a least a bricks & mortar shop - in town. I am particularly a fan of some classic French fragrances, especially Eau de Rochas and Byzance by Rochas and I know that I have bought them here in the past. Come to think of it, I believe it's time for another visit to Moorman's......

This is the only place in town I can find Lapidus for Men and Cafe' a reasonably priced old school perfume that's excellent for everyday. They also carry the best (longest lasting) essential oils in town and will bottle them for you in a choice of bottle sizes. Some of the staff are willing to mix oil scents for you and some are not so happy about doing this, so it's a gamble, but if you want to mix up your own signature scent this is the place in town to go. As for the line/lines of soaps they carry, I hesitate to use the phrase old fashioned, and prefer the word vintage. These vintage scents evoke sense memory's of how my grandma smelled as she was readying for church. What's a better comfort than that scent?

They recently moved to a newer location not far from the old one, and the space is much larger, nicer, and able to accommodate more people comfortably. We all had a great time, and even my teenage boys enjoyed the experience, which says a lot! The candle making process starts by smelling a wide variety of fragrance candles and writing down the ones you like. I will admit this part can be a little overwhelming because there are so many scents to choose from, but they thoughtfully provide coffee grounds to help reset your sense of smell between fragrances. Once you've narrowed down your favorites, you choose a growler (the container for your candle). From there, a staff member guides you through the process. Sam was wonderful and helped us every step of the way. She also made sure I received my birthday perks, including $20 off, and helped me sign up for the rewards program, which gave me an additional $5 off. They were also running a buy three, get one free promotion which worked perfectly for our group of 4. After selecting your favorite scents, you blend them together to create a custom fragrance. Three scents seemed to be the sweet spot, although you can use more if you'd like. Once your fragrance is finalized, you're given warmed soy based wax to mix with your oils. I loved that the candles are made with soy wax. Sam let us know when everything was ready to be poured into our growlers, and the entire process was fun and easy to follow. One of my favorite parts was getting to name my candle and place the custom sticker on it. The candle takes about two hours to set, so we left and came back at the time they recommended to pick it up. Another thoughtful touch was that the restrooms were stocked with feminine hygiene products, which I always appreciate. If you're looking for a unique, fun experience that is perfect for a family outing, date night, girls' day, or special occasion, try it out. I loved that we came here on Mother's day. I would definitely come back and make another candle!

A REALLY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE…read more My husband made us reservations for 6:30, which is highly recommended. If you've ever been to Bottleworks on the weekends, you know that parking can be a bit of a challenge so plan ahead (we were almost late). When we walked in we were greeted right away and we jumped right in. You start with going through a wall of different scents. And when I say wall, I mean a literal wall of scents. There must've been 100 to go through. Once you list your favorites and find your top 3, you pick your vessel and head back to your area. We were surprised to see they had beers, wines, and seltzers available. Our "helper", Gracie, was really fun to work with. She took a look at our scent lists and made some suggestions on scent pairings. She was very friendly and attentive. After a few drinks in us, we started mixing and pouring until we handed our candles in to start the two hour setting process. They were about to close so we decided to pick our candles up the next day. Overall, such an amazing and unique experience and we'll definitely head back with more friends!

However, when I used the product for the first time, I experienced a skin reaction. My neck and chest became red and irritated, with a stinging sensation that lasted for several hours. I reached out to Bath Junkie to report the issue and share a photo, and I will say that their customer service team responded promptly. The representative I corresponded with apologized for the situation and advised me to stop using the product immediately. She said their product packaging was accurate. There was no offer to make things right, such as a refund or replacement, nor any apparent takeaway on their end to dispose of (or further test) the cherry or almond scents in my product, or change their labeling. I do have sensitive skin, but I've used a variety of customizable products from other brands (e.g. Buff City Soaps) without issue, and shop at stores like Lush, so this reaction was unexpected. Ultimately, I have to caution others with sensitive skin to be mindful when trying Bath Junkie's products, and do a test patch prior to applying more widely to the skin.

Bath Junkie is the place to find what you probably could use yourself or find a bath related gift. I was delighted that they do feature several Rinse brand products. Rinse I'm a big fan of, their products are hand made in Georgia. Not too many stores carry Rinse products so I had to indulge. Spending the day in Carmel and walking around I was not expecting to find a place like this but I'm sure glad I did. A great selection of products was only complimented by a friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist. I saw some products that I've seen before but I saw just as many that I can say I've never seen before. A specialty store done well. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to check out other unique products.
