Such a cute place! Very, very cutesy. I'd say this spot is more chill than other candle-pouring businesses I've been to. The staff that was there when I visited was pretty young, which could explain the laid back vibe--but they were all very nice, helpful, and super knowledgeable, which was awesome. Starting with the not so great: - A downside to this particular place is that instead of choosing different scents to mix, they already have them pre-mixed. For example, champagne and clean linen scents are already combined, rather than letting you choose and mix them yourself. Since it's structured this way, it does speed up the process, but I will say there are still a few pre-mixed scents you can mix together that would probably turn out smelling great. - When I went to pick up my candle a few days later, I was disappointed to find that it was damaged. Not sure how it happened, but I was shocked when I unwrapped it to discover it was chipped. Even more disappointing was that the staff wrapped a damaged item without mentioning it to me. On the positive side: - It's BYO food and drinks, which we loved. My friends and I brought a bottle of prosecco, charcuterie, and quiche to enjoy. Our server let us eat, drink, and chat before starting the candle pouring, which was perfect for catching up! - Parking is easy - Gorgeous vessels to choose from - Reasonably priced They also have a little gift shop with an assortment of trinkets! read more

My daughter and I went here for a Galentines Day Event. Having never been to a candle making venue, I really enjoyed it and think this was a very good value for the price. They have a wide selection of vessels to choose from for pouring your candle. You first choose a vessel and the price varies. Then you choose your scent from the scent bar. As you wait there is a small shop to browse, as well as photo opportunities. Once we understood what steps we needed to do then it was simple and they walked us through the quick instructions. Rented the space out on a Saturday evening from 6:30-8:30pm to throw a surprise party for our mother! It was a blast!!! You can bring in your own food and beverage and they even have wine glasses for you to use. The only requirement for the private space is to at least have 8 people make candles. There are so many vessels to pick from and you can choose to make more than one of you wish! There were two employees there that night to help out and they were both wonderful! I'll be going back during open pouring time for sure! You can bring in old vessels to refill for a discount! Love everything about this shop! read more

This is such a fun space. I am so glad I saw their post on Instagram about their Holiday Open House. I took myself out on a whim and it was awesome. This store is so wonderful upon entering. It is brightly lit, beautiful open space, and the smells are so soul warming. I had such a wonderful time noshing on snacks, sipping on wine, and smelling all the smells. After pouring my candle I felt so relaxed and super re-energized to continue on with my holiday season in a more uplifted mood. Went to a Galentines event with my mom at this hidden candle pouring shop in Fishers. I wasn't sure what prices were for candle pouring beforehand and was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was! I have seen many candle making places that were pretty pricey but here you pick a vessel and that is the total price. I picked a small vessel which was only $20. The fragrance bar had so many scents to choose from. I loved how beautiful the location looked and think the event was a very fun idea. The girl helping us make our candles did a very good job explaining and in all it only took about 15 minutes. This would be such a cute place to take a group of friends for a girls night or a bachelorette. I will definitely be returning! read more

This is a cute little place to visit where you can make your own candle and pick up in few days/next day. My fiancé and I love making candles and we decided to try this place out. You can bring your own wine too which is a plus! There is a wide range of vessels to choose from and they are a good price compared to other places I have been. The one I made was pretty big and it was around $30-$35. Comparing the size at other candle making places, I have seen similar sizes go for $50-$80. The only thing I would keep in mind, is that the fragrances/oils were already premixed. We still were able to mix a couple oils together, but it wasn't "pure" sandalwood, "pure" vanilla, "pure" eucalyptus. etc. I actually didn't really like 95% of the premixed scents and it took me longer to find a scent than to actually make the candle. Overall, we had a great experience and the ladies working there were very sweet! If they added in a few pure oils/fragrances, so people can "create" their own scent, this place would be 1000/10! read more

I was invited to a candle making day with some girlfriends at Unplug. We were able to bring our own snacks and wine which made it super fun! First, we chose our vessels (so many to choose from, but some can get very pricey) and then we chose our fragrances. An employee walked us through how to calculate how much wax and fragrance to add based on the size of our vessel. She was available to help but we did make them ourselves. It was so cool! We had to let them set for a day or two and then come back to pick them up. I looked through all of their merchandise and there was so much cute stuff. If you need a teacher gift, girlfriends birthday present, etc- this would be a great place to shop! I am giving them only 4 stars because it was much pricier than I had anticipated and due to the fact that both candles I made there (about $100 total ) burned funny once I got them home. They smell amazing and the experience was super cool but I was kind of disappointed in the quality of the candles for the price. All in all, we had an amazing time and found an adorable small business to support when buying gift or planning girl time. read more

I loved coming here for a candle making party with a few friends one Saturday evening. We were able to make a private reservation and also were able to bring in our own little treats to have (BYOB) during. The ladies who were assisting us were so friendly and explained to background of the store. The vessels to choose from were beautiful! What I like about this place is that you can bring your vessels back to be refilled at 20% off once you've burned your candles to the end. I also love the trinkets and other items available for sale in the back of the store as well. The scents are calming and soothing and it was just nice to vibe in a different way than I have before. It is comparable to Penn and Beech on Mass Ave, but it just has a comfy feel here rather than there. I highly recommend stopping by to see what it's all about. read more

I've been shopping online at this shop for years but finally decided to make the trip to Indiana to see them in action. Their new location is so fun. They have a spot to pour candles where you can pick any vessel off their large wall of options and choose your fragrance (white tea is my absolute favorite). We did some damage during their 20% Black Friday sale and came back the next day to pickup the candles that we had poured the day prior. Came here to celebrate my friend's upcoming wedding! Their self pouring hours on a Saturday are limited, 10-1, so the day before I called the shop to see if there was a time recommend because they don't take reservations. We arrived around 10:30 and we were the only customers. Inside, the decor is so cute! What I loved about this place was the amount of vessels you could choose from. Creating your own candle isn't a new concept in Indy, I've done several other self pours at other companies. What makes this place a little different is, you're not creating a "new" scent, you're creating one of their signature scents. They had a decent selection of scents, a lot of which are fall/winter scent. I went with the sugared citrus, but it smells very similar to my favorite Volcano scent. The prices were really good. I chose a nice gold late vessel and it was only $40. And i LOVE the idea of you bring it back to refill you received 20% off! Another thing that sets the place apart from the others, is you can bring your own snacks and drinks! We shared a bottle of wine while pouring our candles. One downfall, is that it takes 24 hrs for the candle to set. Since we went Saturday, we can't return until Monday since they're closed on sundays. Overall, really enjoyed it! I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves one. I had my daughter's eighth birthday party there and they did a fantastic job with 15 little girls. First place is absolutely adorable and it smells fantastic. Second, we made candles with the girls, add some cupcakes and ice cream, and then did some very cute photo ops in the store. The birthday host was fantastic, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Seriously I have five children and it was probably one of the best birthday party experiences I've ever had. read more

The selection of scents are amazing and completely different than you'd find in typical candle stores. I hadn't lit my candle yet, and I could smell it all over my living room. I've followed Unplug Soy Candles on Instagram forever and was so excited to finally make it in today! I was in the area and they were having their Fall open house so it was perfect timing. The entire store was 10% off and all of their wine candles were $20. The store is super cute and I was greeted by multiple employees when I walked in. One of the women answered all of my questions and helped me create a gift basket for a friend's upcoming bridal shower. They have a gift basket, paper filling and clear plastic wrapping with a bow (that they'll wrap up for you) for $10. I added 2 candles and a card for my friend and in total it was about $40! They have countless, adorable vessel options which you can bring back in and refill for 20% off. Their wine candles are previously used wine bottles that they've cleaned and filled with all of their different scents. You can even bring in your own used wine bottle from a special occasion and they'll cut it and fill it with whatever scent you'd like! I could go on and on about this place. I purchased the exotic cardamom and vintage moss candles a few weeks ago after smelling them at a spa I went to.
