Absolutely the worst scammers on the planet. Lied to us from beginning to end. Wont return our calls after a solid year of termites. We have placed over 43 phone calls, spoke to the manager, and the district manager who make promises and never come through on any of them. I encourage everyone to contact a attorney and seek damages under the " Diminished Value " suit. They have allowed the termites to continue to eat our home for a full year from the date of our treatment and have made no attempt at resolving the issue, nor will they refund our money as outlined in the 100% refund guarantee. I never had a roach problem until after the other company came to treat my couch for mites! Truly Nolen cost HALF the amount for an entire year of service and we started seeing results right away! Huge disappointment with Truly Nolen, had them out for an inspection for termites and a Rodent in our attic. They missed the 2 hr window of my appointment. Called an hour later to reschedule in the am. I hired them for the rodent issue, they showed up Friday to start, then no showed on the next visit. Then when I called, Customer Service gave me nothing but attitude. I did receive a call from management apologizing so that's why I went from 1 to 2 stars. Needless to say, I have reservations about agreeing to have them tent my house!!! The moral of the story, never pay up front!!! read more

The worst experience I've ever had with pest control. We had rats in the attic and they came out with snap traps and a rat got caught in it and was dragging the trap around clattering around all night screaming. It was a traumatic experience for us and my small child to hear this. Then we call and ask that someone come get the traps immediately the next day and put the poor thing out of its misery. They say they will show up and the never did! Then another day passed and another and every time customer service picked up the phone we were told someone would be coming out but it was all lies! It was FOUR days later before anyone would even show up at our home, then added even more ineffective traps and it happened AGAIN that night. We had to listen to the screams! Their methods are archaic, their equipment is something you can purchase yourself at a tool shop for heavens sake. My advice to anyone reading this: If you have a pest problem hire some real professionals who can EFFECTIVELY and HUMANELY handle their jobs. This was a needlessly traumatic experience. read more

Be warned. Just because its a familiar name doesn't mean you will receive top service. Communication is nonexistent afterwards. My first mistake was signing the contract and paying the service price in full. Argue to pay half before and half once completed. This is because Truly Nolen subcontracts out the actual tenting and fumigation and does not control scheduling. They give a 24 hr window for work to be done which makes it impossible to plan lodging or reconnecting of gas service. I was basically homeless from 12 noon to 9pm because it was not communicated at least with an estimated time when my home would be cleared. Do not use unless you enjoy horrible experiences. read more

We have been a customer of Truly Nolen for a while and the only reason why we continue to stay with them is like a bad relationship you keep hoping it's going to get better but every single time it just gets worse. They don't call their customer service is horrible their service team are never on time nobody ever follow up with you timely they make your promises and they don't fulfill them and this goes on and on and on. Most recently we paid for a termite treatment they came and did part of the house two years later we're still waiting for them to do the rest of the house. A year later a guy comes by and looks at everything and soda everything is good, had to to pay to continue the service advised him that the termite treatment was never completed stated OK will follow up with you and will get somebody out here they never got anybody out here they never called us and the next thing we knew they called canceled our service got none payment and never once did they discuss the incomplete treatment they still didn't provide. We discovered recently a year later that we had no termite treatment service because the agreement was automatically cancelled without notice fir none payment. Please note they still have not completed the initial termite treatment. We didn't pay them because we were told by the guy who came out to inspect that they were going to arrange to send somebody out to complete the initial termite treatment we never got a call no one ever came. Now we are getting the roof redone and a lot of termite dropping was discovered we had to replace a lot of our beams in the roof. Added to that we've been having major problem with fire ants all over the backyard I've called multiple times for them to come out and yes like an idiot I gave them more money to start the yard service and treat the backyard. three they scheduled appointments which resulted in no call no show. You call the service Number. You are prompted to select two to leave a message you select the number two then you are automatically sent back to the main menu they tell you they will answer your call in two minutes and you wait 20 minutes and no one answers then your hear their recording they tell you their goal and mission is to meet and exceed your expectations they can't even call you back much less doing anything else to even remotely close to meeting your expectations forget about exceeding it. they tell you to leave a message if you want to when you're prompted to select 2 which only takes you back time and time again to the main menu. so sure enough we're going to have to eat the money that we have paid out to them already for the services that they never provided in the first place and go elsewhere like Orkin or Terminix to find another way of truly getting somebody to meet our expectations I'm just so frustrated. Our house has a "Service" to get the lawn sprayed. The guy doesn't show up and if he does, he's only here for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, I couldn't get an answer out of the office. The guy was supposedly at our house at 12:53pm which is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE because we were sitting out front...The manager was supposed to call back but he never did. Our animals were being held captive until 2 hours after the spray, but the spray never occurred and no one ever called back. The ONLY REASON I'm giving 2 stars is our OTHER GUY - who does the inside, STEVENS, he is absolutely fabulous, very thorough and very responsive. But the rest of the Truly Nolen that services the Homestead area, sucks! I won't hold my breath to see if the Manager actually does call back. read more

Terrible service trying to get rid of rats who have eaten a hole near the roof to get in to the attic. We have done all the trapping and roof repairs ourselves because they send someone out who says "oh, they are getting in there. Someone will be out next week to repair the hole," not acceptable! Later another person sets a trap in the attic, after we point out a second entry point, which, again, we have repaired ourselves, and a week later no one has been back to check on the trap or do a better repair on the roof. We have a contract with Truly Nolan, which means they take the money and don't do anything... Will not be renewing the contract. read more

He scheduled an appointment with me for him to reinspect my property and provide recommendations as needed. He was extremely professional and detailed with the new inspection. Booked appointment for 11. Took a day off work - everything I didnt do today, I have to go into the office to do tomorrow. Boarded the dog - $50. Nobody has shown up, i've lost a whole day, and I just got told on the phone that 'he's really busy today, thats why he's not there, you are on his list it will be a while' Genuinly completley unacceptable. No effort to contact me, no effort to clarify a time. The dog gets home in an hour and if she's here whoever turns up will not be able to walk around our house, and it'll be cometpley pointless even trying to do an inspection. So i'll have to reschedule and go through this entire process again. So I now have to work for 8 hours on a saturday and i'm out $50 in dog boarding because nobody could tell me this morning 'he's overbooked and might not turn up' Really simple things can make a very big difference. Ron, the field technician is fantastic, everybody else there is not. They won't even answer their telephone. They promised a measly $20 referral for a new customer. I gave them my neighbor (who I promised to give the $ to) and they won't even pay the referral. I've spoken to the salesman Shaun several times who promised to take care of it and the Manager even called and lied about it. I went ahead and gave the money out of my own pocket. The person on the phone asked if there was I reason and I said That their prices were getting to high. He said that he would cancel the appointment. I have cameras on my house and the next day I saw the Truly Nolen guy apply the treatment. I called the Miami office and told them I had cancelled my appointment and that the technician could only do the front yard as the back yard was locked up. They said they could send him back out to complete the treatment and I said No, I cancelled it. I told them not to bill me because he only treated 1/8 of my yard and I had cancelled the appointment to begin with. Forward to today. I have received two notices from a collection agency about a bill they sent me in April. I had called them several times and every time they said the Manager is out and they would call me back. The Manager never called me back. After my last call with this company today, I went through the same conversation and was to hold to talk to the Manager. I was on hold for a few minutes and the person that answered the call came back on and said that I had to pay as the treatment had been completed. I told her that it was only partially completed, but that I ad in fact cancelled it in the first place. She kept insisting that I had to pay the invoice so I told her that was fine, I would call the BBB. I thought I would share my experience here so others would be warned before they were treated this way. This company does not have customer service in mind. They just want the money. read more

Truly Nolen and their pest control may be effective, or maybe the are like the placebo effect, you think their services are doing something but they are not. Point is, all of that is shadowed by their horrid, downright nightmarish billing department. I kept their services for two years straight, paying yearly to get a discount. Having their guy come over and spray some liquids and take out some spiderwebs every quarter. However, since last year they promised me the yearly discount and they never gave it to me. I've called them more than 6 times and they keep telling me "Oh no problem sir, we'll take care of this." Yet, one year and a half later and I'm still receiving bills from them. I reported them to every consumer agency possible, and I encourage you to STOP right now, think hard and well about the "pests" you're having and if they are not such a big deal I recommend you just buy some retail product and deal with that. I feel I wasted almost a thousand dollars on a nonservice that is now showing its true "scammy" hands. Stay away. read more
