Leg scrape from the sharp asphalt ground on the splash pad

The ground on the splash pad is so worn out that it's hard and hot like asphalt. I tried going down the slide with my toddler and I flew into the ground scraping up my whole leg. They need to resurface it! Otherwise it's a great park and play area!

Every time we go to key west we always end up taking a walk at this park. The views are beautiful. They do have a coast guard museum that is open Monday to Saturday and it's inside a boat. If you have kids you could be here all day as it has a playground and a splash pad. Bathrooms also open until late. It's very nice and relaxing. Also great to watch the sunrise and sunset.

I have been coming to Key West for over 20 years and I remember when this part of the island was just unkept and a bit forgotten. A few years ago, the city decided to rebuild and redesign the area and now the Truman Waterfront Park is a jewel of the city. Located within the Truman Annex, it's a beautiful place to walk, stroll, bike, jog, sit, relax, have a picnic, etc. The park's facilities can be listed here: ADA Accessible Bike Trail Parking (Pay to Park) Picnic Areas Playground Restrooms Tables Trails Water views If you are in Key West, stop by this park for an expansive view of the water, green spaces and beautiful flowers.

Last time I was at the waterfront docks where the coast guard ship is and the Eco-Discovery center , they were just starting to build the new park. For a very long time there was talk about a park being built here but it just seemed like it was never happening. When I came back here recently I was shocked how nice it is now. There is parking lots with really nice paths all over the place where we rode our bicycles. You can still walk along the ship docks where the coast guard ship and museum is. And now it's nice that there is benches to sit too. They built a nice kids water park area and the best part is the new outdoor stadium to have concerts and shows.

Awesome place to go with your family especially if you have kids under 10 years old. If you're in Key West make sure to check it out...the best part is that the park is free. They have both men and women bathrooms, which are kept clean. There is a security on site always. They have a regular play are without water and then a water play area. It's a good idea to take a cooler. You can see the ships docking on the side where the ocean is located. There is a lot of grass area for families to come with their chairs cause there is only 4 benches.

What a gorgeous little park to walk or bike through in Key West. Well manicured and pristine, Truman Waterfront Park is a delightful place to take a stroll, enjoy a picnic or let the children play on the great little playground. There is a water park for kids to enjoy cooling off on warm days year round. The amphitheater is great and I imagine a nice place to enjoy some local entertainment. There is abundant seating and a large grassy area for checking out performances. Restrooms are available and nice and clean, and thankfully open just for the passing bikers and walkers. The park overlooks the water near the military base and one of the cruise ship docks. The plumeria flowers were blooming and shone brightly even on a cloudy day. The park is a lovely outdoor space and beautiful addition to Key West.

Access is only available via Southard. If you're staying near Truman Annex this is your perfect walking area.

Fun playground. Fun splash pad. And has a great view of the Coast Guard ship that is docked right next to it.

Wow , lots of things have changed! Perched on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico (or America?), Mallory Square hosts Key West's Sunset Celebration every evening of the year. Same suggestion: Arrive at Mallory Square 2 hours prior to sunset to see the celebration kicking off. Street performers spread themselves out across the square. You'll have the chance to listen to live music, be amazed by magicians and illusionists, or laugh at the antics of clowns. Enjoy an ice cream as you walk around or pick up some local street food from the food carts that occupy part of the square. As the sun gets closer to the horizon, all eyes turn toward the gulf. Position your group in a good spot to see pink and red tones flood the sky as the sun disappears. Take a photo to remember the occasion. Parking: its $6/hr- street or garage, so plan for it, especially on weekends, or you can be late for sunset have

So obviously I am going to give this Key West cultural landmark and plaza 5 stars because IT SHARES MY NAME!! Like many others have said, this is a tourist hot spot with lots of beachy shopping, restaurants, and museums. My dad made sure to take lots of photos of me by my namesake plaza while we visited Key West on family trips back when I was a kid. I wasn't so enthused to pose back then but I am now as an adult!! Mallory isn't a common name so I have a biased opinion of anything or anyone that is named Mallory. I can't wait to come back and get even more time in MY square! :)
