The farm was relatively easy to find, and had a fair amount of things you could do. Once there in the gravel parking lot there were two parking directors one for the upper lot and one for lower. You did not however have a choice of wanting upper or lower, they just showed you the nearest free spot. Down to the ticket booth. $8.70 +tax per person, so $10 each, and free under 4yrs. with this you got a bracelet a map and a "maize-opoly" card. The maze itself was very fun we followed the map found our maize-opoly spots due to in accuracy of the map however we did manage to get lost a few times whch was the only real downfall. The ground does get quite slick and you will fall(at least it was when i was there) and isn't the best place for a stroller either. But despite getting lost and being very thirsty the maze itself was 1 1/2 hrs of fun, I highly suggest bringing water! The other fun offered was a inflatable bouncy pillow for kids that was only supervised by parents, it had no limit on the amount of children allowed on at once, no protection for the younger children getting plowed over by much older and rougher kids. With experience in working with inflatable bouncing castles This is not safe! Besides the pillow there was a petting zoo consisting of 2 goats and 15 or so ducks. A rope maze, a haystack tunnel running a few meters, and a large slide. This was all completed with a pumpkin U-Pick $4 per pumpkin. There was also a canteen of food and drinks and like expected very expensive. This was a fun afternoon activity and I do really suggest packing some food(or having a lot of money) and water and giving it a go, its great fun for kids and good exercise for everyone involved. Just be careful on the bone breaking pillow!

Ive been going to Daves for many many years, over 20 for sure. The last year or so Ive noticed a…read moredrop in the quality of the produce. Rotten centers in the sweet potatoes being a regular occurrence. Items I would normally buy there I had to shop elsewhere for as they werent fit to take home. They have expanded the ready made section and I often grabbed something for the drive home to snack on. I didnt care for everything I tried but would not return something simply because it wasnt to my liking. Last week I purchased some hot pepperoni for the drive home. Ive been eating pepperoni since I was a kid. I like hot. I do not like mild or honey garlic. I was disappointed as it turned out to be mild. I checked the label but it was marked hot. So this week when I went in I grabbed my items as well as a package of pepperoni around the same price. I brought my receipt and the pepperoni purchased earlier. I have never returned anything to Daves in my life and actually just wanted an exchange. After paying for my other items and waiting for a manager I was denied an exchange and told it wasnt their fault just because I did not find it hot enough. I have had to return things to Giant Tiger, Costco, Sobeys and superstore. I have always been treated well and never given a hassle. This is not the customer service I expected. I was embarrassed and made to feel like I didnt know what I was talking about and I was wasting busy peoples time. They have lost a customer in me and 3 family members as well.

Every time I'd drive by, I'd remind myself that I should finally go there, but it was only once we were in our waning days of living in the county that I made the effort to get out there. It's a big, airy space, with lots of wood paneling that ups the country market vibe. I was really impressed with the broad assortment of products - fresh fruit and veg (local and imported), locally- and house-made pickles and jams, deli products, frozen meats, desserts, pantry goods, and more! What also drew us in were the hot food offerings, which include breakfast, lunch and dinner items. While I opted for the burger, my wife went for the pork chop dinner. You don't see pork chops on a lot of menus, let alone smoked pork chops, and at a country market at that, so it was too intriguing to pass up. Everything is cooked to order, so if you're getting hot food, I'd suggest ordering it first and browsing the grocery items while you wait. There's a good-sized seating area at the far end of the market with several booths and tables, as well as several picnic tables outside. The burger was really, really good. The patty was a bit too compacted, but it had a great char from the flame grill. You get your choice of toppings, and I pretty much went for the works. They were top notch in quality, with house-made pickles, a slice of real cheddar, and super fresh lettuce and tomato. The bun seemed to be house- or locally-made, with a lightly crisp crust and a soft and supple crumb that held up well against its fillings. A coating of black and white sesame seeds added a nice bit of flair too! The fries are crispy-coated ones, so while not hand-cut, they were an easy win, and plentiful. All of this, plus a drink was only $13.50, which seems like a steal these days for non-fast food! As impressive as the burger was, my wife's pork chop was definitely the winner. It was a *big* chop - easily an inch thick, even after being cooked. The smoke flavour was fantastic, but the chop wasn't dry and overcooked from the double-cooking of the smoking and grilling. There was enough pork chop and fries that my wife had leftovers for lunch the next day! At $15 for the meal, it feels like a steal in 2024. With a great selection of local products and produce, and delicious hot food at reasonable prices, I'm so glad that I finally tried Whistleberry Market, and look forward to future visits when I'm back in the area.

The produce is always fresh and always so delicious. I LOVE their apples. They've also started doing cider and it is delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful if you have any questions. Definitely recommend!

Noggins is a great family farm that has a stall in the Halifax Seaport Famers' Market. I have, however, been a fairly regular customer at their Seaport stall. The produce, although not an amazing variety this time of year, is always fresh, looks (and tastes) appealing and staff are very helpful. They always have a large selection of different apples and often have different variety bags on sale for a great price. We really enjoy stopping by their stall to grab some fresh produce, sample an apple and have a little chat. Friendly people and a great local farm!

I mean, it's absolutely fantastic. Just when you thought you couldn't be happier, you're walking out with a bottle of Tideview's Sparkling Pear. This is huge for the Dartmouth crowd, y'all.

They carry, not just fruit & veg but Foxhill cheese, milk & gelato, Old Dutchman cheese, Made With Local granola bars and Terra Beata cranberries, just to name a few.. Sure, you'll pay more then in the grocery store but it is so worth the fresh taste of naturally ripened, not dyed, organic goodness. And you're supporting local to boot, win win.
