My mom went here for a procedure which led me to bring my grandma in for her teeth work and cleanings. She had always expressed some level of dissatisfaction about the dentist, which I thought was just her being picky. Side note - My grandma lives with dementia - which the staff has been well aware of - so as one would understand and expect that she may ask questions a few times. Not to mention, they are located just north of Sun City where seniors live. (Just a couple extra facts to help paint the picture). So when my grandma's cleaning was complete, the staff asked me to come back to speak with the dentist, as he had something to show and discuss with me. As he pointed out his concerns, my grandma was asking questions to understand what he was saying and talking about. I explained to her what was going on and why the dentist was telling me - so I was informed and can answer her questions later. The dentist explained our options and we discussed. Again, my grandma had questions. After he started getting snappy with her and her very valid and logical questions, he looked at her and disrespectfully put his hand on her shoulder and told her to "calm down", turned and walked away. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! That's how you talk to your patients? Especially elderly patients? As I stood there shocked picking up my jaw from the floor, I looked at the other staff member present and just asked her "is that how you guys talk to all of your patients?" - she had nothing to say and asked if I wanted to talk to the office manager, as if that would do anything. Although I wanted to follow him and have a friendly "closed door meeting" with him in his office, I got my grandma and walked out. We will never go back to this place and I suggest that you and your loved ones never do as well. In any form of medical practice or office, patient care (and respect) should come first, however often times that's sadly no longer the case. read more

I am very disappointed in my experience with TruSmile Now. My first visit was in March as I had an implant that was causing me problems. The diagnosis was that it needed to be replaced. I returned on April 1st to have that done. The estimate that I was given was for that procedure only but was not explained to me as I needed to have both my upper and lower denture replaced especially the lower denture since the new implant would be in a different place. I still need the new dentures, I guess they just assumed that I would not replace the lower denture or have snap put into the old denture in order to anchor the denture to the new implant. I believe that Dr Han is very good at what he does, but he does not really communicate with his patient as to what he is doing or will be doing at any given time when dealing with a denture wearing patient. Plus I felt I was mislead by the office personnel as to what was being charged to and paid by my insurance company. They told me one thing and my insurance company told me something else. I have difficulty eating as the denture is not anchored on the right side of my jaw which makes chewing very difficult and my mouth is always sore. I have no benefits left and my income does not allow for me to pay for dental work so I have to live with this until more benefits come available which will not be until 2026. read more

I went into TruSmile on a Groupon for a simple cleaning. I showed 15 minutes early to fill out what I know is going to be required paperwork. (I should mention I'm a pet dentist.) I was asked for a PHOTO ID, then given 7 pages to fill out. I really didn't want to fill out the items that had nothing to do with today's service but all about marketing. I'm happy to provide information that's required by the State and would be helpful for the office to maintain a healthcare profile. I didn't, so I was told they couldn't clean my teeth. Fine, no problem. Imagine my surprise when they redeemed my Groupon before I even left the parking lot! Unethical and unprofessional. read more

I had the most brutal care of all. Never before in my life have I ever suffered so much pain and after my implant so much bleeding I still hurt I have a blister in my mouth. I have a hole underneath the implant which has food stuck into it then I cannot get it out. It is very painful. I have a throbbing pain constantly continually hurting suffering. I cannot recommend truesmile. I certainly don't want the dentist that worked on me to ever touch me again. It is just I am hurting so bad. I haven't been able to sleep and nothing like this throbbing and throbbing and throbbing. I don't want to do anymore suffering, but I gotta get this fixed. It is a tremendously painful hole. I can't believe the size of the hole underneath my implant. I tried to go in there and get the food out, but it was so painful I couldn't. I have tried swishing with everything and I cannot get it out. I would not wish this upon anyone I need to get this out from underneath the implant it is just hurting hurting and hurting so you don't have my recommendation truesmile I would not give you a five star four star three star a two star maybe that's it. read more

I waited three weeks to get in and all I got was a ton of X-rays and a demeaning talk down By Dr Han Choi about how bad everything was and all the work I was going to need. And questioned my honesty about answers I gave like I was not forthright. Where does these young people I'm not going to say professionals come off with no customer service skills. I bought a Groupon for a dental exam, X-Rays and teeth cleaning. When I requested my medical records, they claimed X-Rays are provided as a courtesy and not included in the Groupon price, but it is clearly advertised as an included service on here. They will refuse to release your medical records unless you pay them an extra $100, because you only paid the "Groupon price". This is against HIPAA laws and reeks of a money grab scam for people that are not aware of their legal rights. When I mentioned my rights to them, suddenly they changed their tune and are now claiming they want to charge me the $100 because that is what it costs them to release the X-Rays, which is of course not true. If they try to scam you too, just know you should file a HIPAA Privacy complaint for them to investigate the practices of this office and also report them to the state licensing board. DO NOT fall victim to their scam! read more
