This was my first experience here and it was great. Everyone was super nice and Jeanine and Dr Cho took excellent care of me. I needed an exam, X-rays and cleaning, plus my all on four implant denture removed, cleaned and re-inserted . Everything went great. Unfortunately for me I will be needing a crown replaced, but it can be done here in about 90 minutes from start to finish in one appointment. My son had this done here a few weeks ago and he is very happy with getting his dental work done at this office. I was very impressed with Stephanie taking care of you at the reception desk when you first arrive and dealing with the insuand before I left Katia gave me a quote for the crown replacement and set up the appointment for me as soon as possible before things could get worse. I've been to lots of dental offices in my time and this is at the top of the list. I just had my next appointment here for a crown replacement. Dr Cho and Liz were amazing! The whole thing took about an hour and twenty minutes. The technology of getting the whole thing taken care of in one appointment is awesome. No temporary to deal with or having to come back. Dr Cho and Liz rocked this procedure. It could not have gone any better. No problems, it fit perfectly when I left the office and feels like I had it for years. My dental work is all done for now, but I definitely will be back when the need arises. Dentist appointment gone wrong. We arrived 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment time and sat waiting with nobody in the office for almost 45 minutes. When someone finally arrived, instead of reviewing the records that had already been provided by the surgeon two weeks earlier, we were shuffled off and told to take tests. Then the dentist came in completely unprepared and proceeded to chastise me for "not doing it the right way." Comments like, "The surgeon doesn't tell us what to do -- we tell the surgeon what to do," were incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary. What made the experience even worse was his tone and facial expressions, which my wife later pointed out as being openly condescending and insulting throughout the interaction. The entire experience felt disorganized, unprepared, dismissive, and disrespectful from start to finish. I would never recommend this office to anyone. read more

I had, what I didn't know was a dental emergency. I called and explain my situation and they got me in the next day. Completely friendly atmosphere. I'm sure I'm not alone in being in the category of people that don't go to the dentist as much as they should. I take care of my teeth but could do better. No judgement at Wildflower. We figured out what I needed, and no one pushed for more than that. Once again, I'm sure I'm not alone and not liking dental procedures. But Dr. Cho was so calming and just plain old cool. I didn't feel rushed. He answered my questions. We figured out a financial plan that made sense for me. I will be switching my husband to this dentist as well. I'm shocked at reading some of these negative reviews. When I moved to AZ in 2022 to be closer to my aging parents this was the dentist recommended to me by many. I've had nothing but great experiences here. Wow, after telling me they accept my insurance and need my xrays from my previous dentist, they then try to tell me that even though my previous dentists were happy to send those to them, they need xrays newer than one year. My insurance company is smart enough to know you only need xrays every 3 years and that is all they will pay for. I was grossed out by the Dentist I had, reason being he had snot running out of his nose and wiping it with his fingers, I said if he wanted to he could go get a kleenex it would be alright, he said no that he was almost done working with me. This dental office has become, in the four years we were patients there, *much* busier. Staff turnover is high. We rarely had the same dental hygienist twice for our six month checkups. The whole office has a "vibe" of high pressure and hurry. Despite thorough self-care and six month checkups, my wife had a cavity so deep it required a crown. Cavities? Unavoidable perhaps. I came there for a consultation and was quoted 2500 for our of pocket costs for an implant. The customer service rep up front said that would include everything. I then told them I had insurance, boy bad mistake. After the X-rays the price went up to 5100 lol. I went to Alpha Dental and the staff was way better in cleanliness, equipment and service. I have been coming here for at least 8 years and would not want to see any other dentist than Dr. Cho. I have severe dental anxiety. Being at the dentist is my least favorite activity. However everyone at this office is always kind and respectful and put me at ease. Dr. Cho is very observant and quick to recognize any discomfort so I don't feel pain. This morning I went in for a crown but when he started the work in my tooth the cavity wasn't as big as he thought and he was honest and changed the treatment plan to a filling. I had high hopes after the initial consultation in September 2022 as Dr. Cho was easy to talk with and we thought he was honest and trustworthy. I was having two veneers done on the upper front teeth, plus two crowns on the upper left. I was more than patient and understanding when the veneers and crowns had to be redone three times, resulting in numerous visits and dental impressions along with a visit to Scottsdale in order to have the colour and size of the veneers and crowns matched correctly. Nearly three months later, just before Christmas, the work was finished and looked wonderful! I began experiencing sensitivity on an upper crown and asked to see Dr. Cho in January 2023. He explained that the way the crown was fitted was due to to some gum loss and had that been explained at the time the crowns were finished, I would have had a better understanding of the issue at hand. However, he became indignant toward me and suggested that I seek a 2nd opinion if I doubted his work... I simply replied to him that that's all I needed to know and he turned and left the exam room. I did schedule another consultation for a possible dental implant but had to cancel due to a medical appointment at UCLA in Southern California and told the receptionist that I would have to reschedule the consultation. Before I had the opportunity to do so, I received a letter from Dr. Cho indicating that I needed to find another dentist... It's all good though, I intend on finding a good, skilled implant dentist. The office staff is rude and they put you on hold. you wondered what happened to them and many minutes have gone by and then you have to call them back. Dangerous and undertrained, this misogynist had a meltdown in front of me and then blamed me for it. He rough handled my lower jaw, and then raised his voice at me. What a fool he made of himself. Dental ethics in Arizona make no mention of "Informed Consent", so this dentist was pissed that he had to explain the services I was requesting. His assistant didn't do it well. He is too arrogant to be objective, and much too unaware of his own biases to handle himself professionally. Blaming patients for his lack of awareness is.....permitted by the low standards of dental ethics in Arizona. It's called "countertransference", or more simply put, he let his own feelings get in the way. Arizona dentists are ignorant of this problem, putting the public at risk. He does not know ethics, but he more likely passed a multiple choice exam. It was obvious to me he has no idea of his own prejudices, and was responding to his own feelings rather than handle the situation professionally. I give one star only because I can't give no stars. False advertising. They advertise free second opinion yet when you go there they tell you it is $99 for an examination. Interesting because how can they give you a second opinion without a full examination? They can't. Their opinion needs to be unswayed by any previous exam and must stand on it's own. The receptionist and the clerk in the office act like they are the dentist and start questioning you on issues that should be discussed with the dentist...not the clerks. This is a response to the owner. This whole episode happened. As I said in my review I'm never coming back.

If I could give a zero I would. Dr. Powell teeth shamed me by telling me I do not take care of my teeth when in fact I have a debilitating disease. Her exact words were "Its not your disease you do not take care of your teeth" and scoured her lips as she was taking to me...they wanted to recrown all my bottom teeth but said they would not warranty their work because I did not take care of my teeth. When I told the front office I could not afford they went on to ask me how much money I had in my bank account and where could I borrow money from (Stephanie). I paid them over 20,000 to do upper All in 4 and basically when I reported Dr. Powells behavior to Vinnia the office manager, their solution is to drop you as a patient. I recommended 5 patients to them in the past few years after I told them what happened when I complained they will not go back either-I have filed a complain against them/Dr. Powell with the dental board of AZ. I really trusted Dr. Cho, I think he is great but if this is how he allows his patients to be treated. Also Stephanie told me that Dr. Cho and Dr. Powell both reviewed my plan and decided on not to warranty the crowns if I had let them do them because they do not feel I take care of my teeth. I felt very comfortable being at the dentist and the service was very through along with gentle! Dr. Cho explained everything in clear language that I understood! My daughter had a root canal done and she will eventually have to have the tooth removed!!!! Ya, the good part, it's a rear molar so it won't affect the rest of her mouth!!!!! The procedure was like 5 hours!! They definitely didn't have a clue on how to do a root canal. I have had crowns and fillings fallout too. My son went for some fillings and he still complains about the pain on the teeth they worked on. We referred a friend and his crowns had to be replaced!! They do a good job cleaning my teeth. Staff is very friendly. However they are entirely too busy. This is my second appointment here and they are always calling me back 15-30 minutes passed my appointment time which is super frustrating. Also I was sick and had to reschedule my appointment and could not get anyone to answer the phone or return several voicemails. Finally I had to text to cancel! They responded to that saying to call and reschedule. To which I replied I had been calling at various times and leaving messages every day for a week with no response. They took me hostage, took an xray, shot me up for treatment, THEN sent in the accountant demanding almost $400 out of pocket. My insurance had been reduced, not to my knowledge, and I didn't know my CC balance. They escorted me out and had the nerve to still charge the visit even though I had warned them not to. Then, they wouldn't do the work when I got the money together. They were really horrible, leaving me on hold for long periods-absolutely taunting me. Then said they wouldn't see me. Retaliatory, bad little practice. They had had my insurance info for days before my visit but still chose to intimidate me in the chair and try to humiliate me into paying without knowing what was going on. I have been going to Wildflower Dental for a few years now and always found them helpful, organized and competent. Recently I had my usual 6 month cleaning and add'l x-rays. I asked why I was having x-rays because I just had them 6 months ago, but didn't really get an answer. When it was submitted to my insurance, they denied some of the x-ray charges because they are only allowed annually. When I called Wildflower to ask about this, I was told it was "illegal for Wildflower to not perform services THEY thought I needed" - without getting any authorization from me (I always ask that they only do what insurance will cover especially when I am not having any problems). It seems now they have taken the approach if they feel it is needed (or maybe they need the extra $$) that they will just do it without asking your permission or telling you about it. And if you don't pay their portion or refuse the extra services, they say they can no longer treat you. This is what I was told by the Wildflower office today. I checked with my insurance company (Humana) and they said there is no legality or otherwise for getting treated. If you don't want something done it is totally up to the patient, not the dentist. So, I won't be going back as I no longer want to be charged for services I do not want or need. How disappointing that they treat patients this way. I have referred 2 other people to them and they both told me every time they have gone in, they were told they "needed" add'l services. They are also going to change dentists because of this. read more

Honestly, the place was clean, service was amazing, hence the 3 star. everyone was on time. i received a crown- and had to get it shaved down from the sensitivity couple weeks later... now its still hurting been couple months.. was told it might be a root canal now. still cant chew on this side so ill have to go back again. maybe get a 2nd opinion just in case Update: after writing this review the manager contacted me and took me in right away to analyze what was going on. Dr clearly explained everything to me and compared my two x-rays. I appreciated that it was all shown and explained to me. I need a root canal due to my old filling being very deep and causing nerve sensitivity. Dr explained that once I received root canal he will redo and fix my crown at no charge. thank you! read more

I have a right to complain to higher ups when something like this happens to a patient. The work was shoddy because it kept falling out--three times are excessive. What about the bruise on my arm? STAY AWAY been going for several years and the staff and office have been going down hill . My daughter has had to go back 3 times for crown they put in that keeps falling out and is now causing pain. My other Daughter let them know she had no job no money but talked her into a mouth guard they said insurance will cover just to find out they don't. Now we r stick with the bill. One of my daughter's went to a new dentist just to find out her cleanings have not been up to par because even though she goes every six months they had to do a deep cleaning on her!!!!
