They like to "estimate" and have you sign that paper even before sending it off to insurance company. My mother has been going to them for years, I needed a root canal and crown she offered to pay what my insurance wouldn't and when going in they wouldn't send me home with a bill for my mom to see they demanded her to pay it before I could even leave then had enough nerve to say they will no longer serve us. As part of my visit on 9/24, before the cleaning I specifically went there for, the dental assistant performed a gum charting exercise (if not familiar, it's an easy Google lookup to describe what the charting numbers mean). For each tooth, she read out to her assistant 4s and 5s. A 12 year old failing implant had a much higher reading I'm sure was accurate. Dr. Noll told me I need a deep-cleaning to the tune of approximately $600...I subsequently saw my periodontist a few days later to evaluate the old implant. He performed another charting that revealed 2s and 3s. I then asked if I'd benefit from a deep cleaning, and I guess because of professional courtesies between doctors, he reluctantly told me I won't benefit from the procedure. It was the difference between what I was told at this appointment and what my periodontist said that led me to move on.

Thought I just got something stuck in my cap. Nope I had a fracture in the root. So har to have my tooth pulled. This was part of a bridge so she had to cut the bridge and pull the molar. I put some headphones on and she was very gentle ( yeah I know still getting a tooth pulled) with it but before I knew it we were done. I got a few more things I need to go back and get done but I feel like I'm not getting taken advantage of.

I told the front office that we recently had a terrible experience at a chain dentist. The dental assistant talked with me about it and asked me if there was anything specific they could do for my son to make him feel more comfortable and less nervous. The dentist came in, showed me x-rays and exactly what was going on, then discussed the plan of action. There was no hustle or hurrying us out the door. This plan might just be a hidden gem and I'm grateful I found them. Even the bathrooms were clean, smelled great, and roomy for a mom with three kiddos tagging along.
