My 96 year old Mother with severe dementia and heart disease entered hospice care on 1/15/26. She was stable and checked on up until 4/10/26 when crisis care was called in. They were angels. Sandrea, Marie, Elise and Murlene all treated her with dignity and respect. They were with me from her crisis to her passing on 4/14/26. They are not caring about the patient. I was on hospice and unfortunately I didn't die fast enough so they left me falling several times and very sick but then they walked out and I couldn't believe that happened. Thank God I didn't change my health insurance and my primary doctor and my specialist that are still taking care of me still. I am stage 5 kidney failure and I have chf and AFib and I have an arythmia and several other problems with health. I wouldn't recommend them ever. I did nursing 33 years. read more

This company is horrible. Do not be conned by them. When my mom had medical issues, they sent a nurse to check her vitals, that's it. The quality of their care is awful. It took several days to get an X-ray for a potential broken leg. When I called the office for more support, all they tell Me is that they can send a nurse, all while my parent was in agonizing pain. After being treated for a bad UTI, TrustBridge calls me at 1 am and says they have a bed and she should stay there instead of hospital. TrustBridge took her and told me they would give her the "same treatment as hospital". That was a lie. She was not given an antibiotic or an IV. They would've let her die. Do not use this company under any circumstances!!!! They will not provide proper care. read more

Stay away from this organization. The negative reviews here shouldn't be ignored. I am sorry that my mother's end of life care was entrusted to them, and it will be a negative memory forever. Communication is hideous. They use a call center that is out of state for contact. 1. They were quick to enroll my mother, but delivered almost nothing. I had to purchase bed pads, diapers, ointments and other supplies myself, even though they claimed they were going to provide them. Later, they did provide some items in very limited quantities, but only after regular prodding. Their delivery arrangements also left much to be desired. 2. My mother developed a pressure sore, but I had to purchase my own supplies, including ointment and dressings. When their nurse showed up and looked at my mother's sore, she brought 2 dressings to cover it and didn't want to supply more because "they were $21.00 apiece." 3. They wrongly diagnosed my mother with dementia, and actually put that on her death certificate. Her doctors thought there was a blockage that prevented her from eating and caused nausea. 4. Medications consisted mainly of a standard "comfort kit." 5. My mother had frequent UTIs, and when she developed another one, Trustbridge didn't want to treat it, despite the fact that it made her uncomfortable and affected her thinking. I took her to a hospital for treatment. 6. It was an extraordinary effort to have them send a chaplain. 7. Near the end of my mother's life, they sent "crisis care" personnel. One of the nurse was singing religious songs that were not respectful of our denomination. Thankfully, the "crisis care" came to an end because their staff wasn't administering medications regularly. They wanted to give her various "comfort" medications, including morphine, even though she was sleeping. Don't be fooled by their status as a non-profit. Even the final pickup of their hospital bed and table was difficult. They claimed they would call when they were on the way, but instead they just came when they felt like it. read more

I asked my mom and she also confirmed with me. I called Trust Bridge and answered the nurses questions over the phone . They said they will send somebody out to my parents home. It is now 7:09 PM. I never thought about reading reviews about your company, but I did . You are a non profit 501(c)(3) which means it's a nonprofit. That is the only reason why I picked you guys but after reading the reviews online I am getting a little nervous. Does your outfit care about my father's needs or the money coming in from the government ? If somebody wants to call me back I would appreciate it, but I'm getting nervous. I'm thinking about removing my father through your program. I have learned over the years there's no difference between a 501(c)(3) and a for-profit corporation. I was just thinking peace of mind while I was in the hospital making this decision I was making the right choice but when I doubt myself that's telling me to make a change because of the service that I am not receiving. I cannot recommend TrustBridge. After my loved one transitioned to home hospice, we were assured that support would be available, especially during critical moments. However, the intake nurse did not arrive the afternoon he was sent home on hospice care. She showed up the NEXT day after noon. When she arrived, my loved one's condition was clearly unstable: sats already 71% and heart rate 39, atonal respirations. Families rely on hospice for guidance, comfort, and timely intervention -- this experience did not meet those expectations. read more

The level of patience and kindness will never be forgotten. my Husband was on a Mechanical ventilator and it was a hard decision to make to remove life support. my son was only 12 years old and Leonie arranged for the Bereavement councilor reached out to me on how to informed my 12 year old that his father is dying, she also arranged for Paster Rick at JFK to be at bedside and have that prayer with me. They've had nobody scheduled because I have refused the normal person that came because she had an attitude and was complaining about having to come here. He's a traveling nurse if they don't renew his contract then I'm definitely going with another company.. I cannot overly emphasize how much I deeply regret choosing Trustbridge Hospice to care for our father in his final days on earth. Our father was recently in the hospital with a bloodstream infection. Prior to release, he was evaluated by a doctor, and we were informed he should go into Hospice. Given several choices of programs, we chose Trustbridge, fully believing they would deliver the quality of care our father deserved. Shortly thereafter, we signed the paperwork with Trustbridge. We were then contacted by a nurse who took further information. She told me our father would be seeing an aid twice a week and a nurse once a week at his memory care facility. She assured me that the nurses would call me to provide up to date details after their visits. As the weeks progressed, I did not receive a single call from anyone who visited weekly. All information regarding our father's condition came from the nurse at the memory care facility. Four weeks later, we were facing a significant decline in our father's condition. The facility's nurse informed me that prior to 1:00 pm she had contacted Trustbridge to send for a crisis care nurse. I went to the facility within the hour and waited. Previously, a Trustbridge representative told us it would take one to two hours for a crisis care nurse to arrive. I contacted family members who all came to be with our father. Six-and-one-half hours later, the nurse arrived. Late that evening we all returned home to sleep. I arrived the next morning to find a different nurse caring for our father. Once again, family gathered and spent the day by our father's side. Around dinnertime we all returned home to tend to our families. I received a call from a Trustbridge employee informing me that they would not be providing a night shift crisis nurse because they could not locate one willing to come. I expressed my surprise and extreme disappointment as I feared our father did not have much longer to live. Defensively, the employee told me that Trustbridge goes above and beyond and will continue searching for a nurse. She said the present nurse would give our dad a dose of morphine before leaving. The woman to whom I was speaking told me the nurse will ensure the nighttime aids at the facility had the 800 number. If needed, a temporary nurse would come to make him comfortable again, but she would not be staying. My mind immediately went to the six-and-a-half hours that it took for a crisis nurse to arrive. I panicked. How could our father be alone in need of medication with no nurse to administer it? Sadly, our father did pass away at 4:30am while Trustbridge continued searching for a nurse. Trustbridge promises were broken along with our hearts. Trustbridge markets itself as having the values of excellence, integrity, teamwork, compassion, accountability and pride. Yet what they did to our father and our family is inexcusable, unacceptable and deeply disappointing. We were let down and shocked during the time we most needed help. We absolutely would have traded the once-a-week nurse visit or the twice-a-week aid visits if a nurse had just been with our father - as promised - in his last moments of life. Brokenhearted and angry, I'm writing my first negative online review. I hope in doing so, I may save another unfortunate family from suffering this company's ultimate lack of concern for clients. Their mission of providing families with access to compassionate, expert and professional healthcare services in their time of need, was just an empty pitch to us. They hurt our family when we were most vulnerable. I surely wish we'd had the foresight to have read others' negative feedback prior to signing with Trustbridge. I am presently searching for the proper channels through which to file a formal complaint. read more

They are the nicest people and they make you believe that they are telling you the truth. Unfortunately they don't follow through with the promises. Most of the equipment is old and doesn't work properly. I thought the nurse was going to do more than just take the vitals. I've been doing that and I was told that they would help bathe him and take care of his bed sore. That was never done. The staff from Trustbridge is awesome! It took some convincing to get my wife and her family to let me call for hospice care for her mother but the staff helped with the psychological, spiritual, and physical care of everyone involved. And they were FAST! Took my phone call quickly late at night. Sent a nurse next morning. By that afternoon they had turned our guest room for my mother-in-law into a hospital room complete with bed, medical equipment, and 24 hour a day staff. Everything was covered by my mother-in-law's medicare account. The Trustbridge staff knew just how to care for our sweet Abuela and the dozens of family members that came to visit. Nurses kept her out of pain, and helped her rest, and be awake for her grandchildren to visit and our priest. Thank you, thank you, thank you Trustbridge! Your care is remarkable. Trustbridge Hospice of Jupiter FL has been a terrible experience. I am a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner and have had to fight for everything for my father who was a patient with them. 80% of the CNAs have attitudes and lack empathy; I have had to assist with the care they provide as it is subpar with the exception of 2 wonderful aides. I had to request personal Care supplies, an Air bed, a bedside commode - nothing was "offered" and it was a helpful aide who told me what could be provided. It took 14 separate calls to get everyone from Trustbridge to call my phone first and not my dying father's. When my father started to actively die and was unable to take oral pain and anxiety meds, I requested Crisis Care so that he could receive subcutaneous medications (thru IV). I was told to call the Case Manager "tomorrow". This is not helping my father who is dying in pain and with anxiety tonight. I am disgusted with this situation. I feel for any family having to go thru home Hospice, especially if they do not have any medical knowledge as I know they would not be able to deal with everything that I have found difficult even as an experienced medical provider. read more

My elderly mother was admitted after a horrible head injury. It was an extremely emotional and difficult time for us, but the all the staff were incredible. The doctors, nurses, cleaning staff and security staff were so kind and compassionate. I was truly impressed. The facility is also beautiful and clean. We had a room with doors that opened onto an outdoor patio-garden. Staff were very respectful of our spiritual beliefs and gave us plenty of space and support to be with our mother in the way that was right for us as a family as she passed. I was so grateful that we were able to be there for my mother's passing. read more

Absolute disaster of a company...not "trust"worthy at all! I was recently in WPB, as my grandmother is, very tragically, suddenly and unexpectedly, at the end of her life. She wanted to return home and was sent under the hospice care of Trustbridge. According to them, despite not being able to move much at all on her own, being in pain, etc. etc., she did not qualify for crisis care that would provide my 86 year-old grandfather (who has emphysema) any full-time help with her care. Every route possible was tried to accomplish this with Trustbridge. After days of my family calling to get any qualifications or information on a step that would provide more/better assistance (and even multiple times over DAYS to get a bedside commode, which we were promised, dropped off), a nurse who came out and told us we should just "be able to tell" if she needs oxygen (literally no actual medical description of what we should be looking for), as well as the prescription of a terrible anti-nausea medication that did absolutely nothing for her, and, in fact, made her get sick when she wasn't already doing so, we called a competitor. Not only did the competitor go out of their way to fit us in and show up that morning but they IMMEDIATELY took one look at her and qualified her for crisis care so that my grandfather (and all of us there helping to care for my grandma) could get some full-time help. A nurse arrived that night to start the first shift of the 24 hour care, she was placed on a different anti-nausea med that's not making her constantly get sick and my grandma is finally getting the compassion, care and respect that she deserves at the end of her absolutely incredible life! I'm sure I'm leaving out a lot here but my entire family plans to write poor reviews after our experience with Trustbridge. And I do NOT want an insincere apology or offer to discuss further. I'm absolutely done with this company. Grandma deserved better...and she got it elsewhere. read more

My boyfriend is currently a 51 year old patient in Jupiter. We were managing things at home until the pain progressed too much and he had to be admitted to manage his pain. The inpatient doctor would not increase his pain meds. She made him suffer for 5 days to see if they worked. There was one nurse that was able to control his meds and make him comfortable but the doctor and medical director will not agree to it. The other nurses never come in the room to check on him. They expect him to push the call button and speak clearly what his needs are. The doctors 5 minutes assessment when he is medicated is enough for her to make a bad decision. This is not kind compassionate caring. Is is inhumane torture and disgraceful. read more

They claim to be 24/7. What it really means is you can call them 24/7, but sometimes the nurse takes up to 5 hours to show up and sometimes they don't show up at all. The nurses they provide are less knowledgeable than the everyday person who hasn't gone to nursing school. They do not do a full check up on the patient when they visit and they love to push medicine, especially the morphine. Once you reach critical care you are suppose to have a nurse 24/7 to administer medication. When my husband reached critical care, they did not have a nurse available at the time. They advised they would send one out as soon as one was available. My husband passed 13 hours and 2 minutes later and we never received a nurse. A family member who works in a hospital administered all the medication. Upon my husbands death when I called to have him finalized by them and transported to the funeral home, when I advised the on call nurse I did not want to wait a whole day for them to pick him up since they never provided a a critical nurse, her response was" i am sure he did not die because we didn't provide a nurse", Exactly what I wanted to hear after loosing my husband. If possible, stay away from them. They do not offer comfort care. It's all about how many patients they can get in to charge the insurance. read more

My mother did not receive the care she deserved in her last dew days of her life. There was no "crisis care" or RN present as promised. There was limited weekly nurses visits during her months in home hospice care. Doctors visits were minimal. The family did not receive the support and clear communication as needed . I was very disappointed with the overall care my mother received, and the lack of respect extended. read more

When they came to check in on my Mother in law since family was there they only stayed for a few minutes. Thankfully, she has made a miraculous recovery but they don't want to let her out. They would rather keep billing Medicare for her services. Phone calls go unreturned. read more

Not only were they not there for my father when he passed or leading up to his passing or at all but then I had to witness my aunt go through a horrific experience with Trustbridge last year and now a dear friend has been traumatized by what she had to go through. This business should be shut down. Not all hospices are created equally. This staff just does not have the compassion or skill required for this mission. Save your self the anguish. My family cannot recommend Trustbridge. This is due to the company's policy that a patient must be at death's door before the company will admit a patient for inpatient palliative care. Although in hospice care for months, my mother suffered severely in her last few weeks. We begged for her to be admitted for inpatient care where she could get intravenous pain medication. After they finally approved her for inpatient care, she got less than 24 hours peace before she passed. The company has good salespeople to get you in the front door but, other than promptly delivered supplies, they dropped the ball. In my opinion, if you care for your loved one, go elsewhere. I now have to deal with the guilt I feel for not doing better for my mother. read more

This is so overdue, but I am finally getting around to writing a review on Trustbridge. From start to finish they were a joy to work with. They made what could've been terribly depressing with my then 89 year old mom who was in constant pain, a comforting situation. They explained everything they were going to do from the process and progressive care to setting expectations. They asked what I'd consider the right questions to fully understand her medical history which was reassuring from the start. I can't say enough good about the entire team, Latoya and Jade were the two superstars whose name I remember (though I could be wrong on their names, I remember their kind faces :). There is no TRUST in Trustbridge. Please do not even consider them when trying to find Hospice Care. Although this review is not for the facility, it is in fact for the Care Partners who work at Boca Regional Hospital. Once I signed with them on a Friday, it was nearly impossible to reach out to anyone at Trustbridge over the weekend or on Monday morning. My mom was getting released from the hospital on Monday and I tried numerous times to contact the Care Partners I signed with, Kimberley Daughtry and Pat (no last name). I called Care Partner, Kendra, she was busy and would have someone call me. No one returned my call until 6pm which was Karen, whom I never met, stating she was so busy and was just getting lunch at 6pm. Seriously, who cares that you did not have lunch! I was attempting to get my mom transported out of the hospital on Monday, only to get excuses of so and so is off today, we are so busy. This is a life and death company. I do not care that you didn't have lunch or were off for the day. The excuses from the Care Partners were that they were off on Monday. No apologies were given. These Care Partners do no take their job seriously. I switched immediately to their competitor Vitas, because they told me their job doesn't take a day off. They are a 24/7 company. There is enough emotional distress when dealing with a hospice situation, please save yourself the time and aggravation and skip Trustbridge. They are not TRUSTWORTHY! And to top it off, they called my family and told us my mom had passed away when in fact she did not! I was told it stated as discharge on paperwork, but doesn't say what the discharge was. So Larry Goldstein who called my family assumed discharged meant dead! This company is HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

My mother in law was in hospice care. The care was not anywhere near where a hospice care facility should be. We got a call the day after she got there telling us that she fell off bed!! She was in her last day before she passed away. How can you allow a 95 year old woman who is dying to fall out of bed?? Where were the nurses. Additinaly they never did a proper intake when she came in. My husband had to fight to find the right people to properly medicate her so she would be comfortable. During a time where our family needed comfort and to know she is taken care of and comfortable in her last moments of life, Trustbridge added a ton of stress to us. On April 17th 2018, My Mother became a part of the Sunflower Team. This was truly an amazing relationship. Through the years Trustbridge has provided a multitude of different services to assist in comforting her and our family. She has always been a strong woman and that pattern continued until she passed away on January 30, 2020. Her immediate contact group,first and foremost was her nurse Murae (sp) my Mom didn't just open up to ANYONE! She felt comfortable with her and suggested she and my Dad call her Millie,and that was how the bond started. My Mom was able to meet several members of the Team. They were all instrumental in assisting my Mom with a special quality of life. Pastor J, CNA Patrena-Social worker Cindy. Not to mention the on call nurse Stephanie and my very dear friend Tanya Thomas in the crisis care unit. She helped me tremendously bringing lunch and dinner from the cafe for my dad. Everyone on staff has been nothing but Awesome! I can't think you all enough for all that you do! Special thanks to the nurses and CNA's who assisted my mom each tine she was there. Everything, from the evaluation nurse to the admitting nurse, to the emergent care nurse, and finally the daily crisis care nurses. The level of care, expertise, and compassion was spot on. We felt that they treated her with the utmost respect and dignity. When it became clear that her passing was eminent, they assured that her transition would be peaceful, right down to posing her post-passing in a very peaceful/dignified position. Note: This place is also "Trustbridge", who we entrusted. Was told by dad's dr that this was a very good org for hospice care. My sisters thought that hospice is a 24/7 service and would be great for dad. Do your homework if you have time. This hospice does not cover 24/7 home care, it offers 24/7 hotline. Dad received a terminal prognosis with no definitive "expiration date" as coined by the dr. We wanted to keep him at home as long as one could. The assessment interview by Trustbridge was very intense for my dad, the line of questioning was aggressive and robotic, impersonal, from the woman sent to the home. It set my dad back mentally right off the bat. If I could take it back I would. She popped by the next day to once again talk with my dad. I should not have let her talk to him alone. He wasn't the same after. We were told they will cover 24/7 with aides, they don't. You will have to provide aides at your own cost. They provided meds, supplies, a nurse visit once a week, a bathing person once a week, a dr once a month. Minimal guidance, call our hotline with any questions. The nurse came twice, I called for a doctor visit when I felt we were not receiving real information on my dad's health and prognosis. The dr came a couple days later and gave us the not surprising news. The dr was very nice I'll give her that. Very nice. But when dad's time was really at hand, we were at a loss for what to do, we called but there was no time for chat, so when he passed we called their 24/7 number again, well they will send someone over, took about 30 minutes or so. The nurse who arrived was tacky, awkward, not the type of person you want coming to the house 30 minutes after your parent dies, she really didn't offer much aside from asking time of death. Had no clue about any religious needs regarding death. If you're going through this for the first time, this will be upsetting. As it was my second parent, i just felt that Trustbridge weren't all that great... so I guess it is what it is. To be honest, I suggest looking elsewhere. read more
