Nick came out to do an inspection, and in the process of doing so discovered some issues with our pipes and vents on the roof, some items that pictures made clear could quickly lead to serious damage if the wrong winds/rain came through. He showed us a detailed video of the inspection, then offered multiple quotes based on what approach we wanted to take. I appreciated how thorough and how efficient he was-- I've been in situations where at this point in the review an agent for a major company will only offer you the highest possible quotes and make them sound like an emergency and basically take as long as they can in your house to wear you down in hopes that you'll agree to the sell. Nick and Mr. Goodroof did NOT do this and this instantly won us over. We actually opted for a combination of two of the quotes/plans of action he presented, and he worked up a new quote for that. They offered a variety of payment options, including a 12 months same as cash option that you can apply for and access on your phone quickly. We scheduled the service and they had a crew out in less than a week to get the job done. They worked quickly and efficiently. There was some miscommunication on the quotes, plan of action, and updated responses (like the finished report detailing the work done, particularly important for us as the day of the work the approach shifted somewhat and we just wanted to understand why). We never doubted the quality of the work, but due to being burned in the past by other companies, had some reservations. We voiced those complaints and Nick + others at the company got back to us to go over and explain the situation. They explained the reason for the changes, the delayed updates (some due to automation processes on billing etc.), and sent out the crew + Nick (at a 3rd date) to do a final inspection and report. I'm going a "4" which in my book is "great". The price we paid for the work that was done was fair, the work was quality, and both the sell and final report were handled perfectly. Due to some confusion and crossed wires (that took about a week or so of going back and forth) that hindered my enthusiasm of the project briefly in the interim, I'm docking just the one star that would make this a "perfect" experience. I fully intend to use these folks again for some other tasks next year and I have every expectation that they'll bump up to a full "5" at that point ("perfect").

They had to frame a dormer that collapsed in the tornado, replaced rafters and siding, installed soffits and gutters and a window, and replaced damaged decking and the whole roof with 50 year shingles. The house looks amazing and you'd never know it was a disaster just a couple of weeks ago. Dale updated me via text often and the ladies in the office were friendly when I dropped off my payment. Pricing was reasonable (and I obtained several estimates prior to using them). I highly recommend them and will 100% use them again. There was another guy from another company (came to look at our roof) but never follow up after hearing that I am insured with AllState. And I am pretty busy to have to deal with it myself, So I thought I give him a chance, John Swope is his name. He went on the roof, and took a lot of photos of the damage. So I decided to test him out. I also googled the company, saying they chase after prospective business after a storm went over an area, but they do did their job and make the process easier for the homeowners. I have filed insurance claim before myself, sometimes they find not enough damage, and i have to close a claim. So I gave John a list of homes I manage, and told him to check them all out and come tell me which one has damages which one does not. He meticulously check each one of them for me for free. and reported i have damages on 3. True enough when i drove over to double check, i can see the damages from the street. I went to look at the other few he reported damages as well but told me frankly I am better off just call for repairs. Since i have a regular roofer who does all my repairs. So John follows thru the rest of the process for the other 3. It saves me a lot of headache. He is meticulous and find more damages than I would have notice . So I say - not all storm chasers are bad. And John Swope is a gem. We discuss problematic area in the valley in my roof, slope, etc. areas to pay special attention to and extra ice barrier/shield. On 8/5/26 I received a call from Erin Pear (Production Mgr) saying that I had been approved and confirmed that I wanted white gutters and white gutter guards. She then said the white gutter guards would have to be ordered. I said okay. She then stated it would take 2 weeks. I replied that's fine. She then proceeded to tell me that they had black and they don't get dirty as the white. When she tried to deter me from getting what I wanted I should have known something then. On 8/6/26 I received a vm from some woman named Kim telling me I was approved but now need to be approved by BCR and that the payment was due upon completion. Mind you nothing had been scheduled and it had been 2 wks and I heard nothing nor any work done. At this time I'm confused so I go online and look at my Synchrony account and BCR submitted a pending charge for the full amount of 4824 on 7/28/26 and aother charge of 2412 on 08/13/26. I'm livid and call the corporate office on 8/13/26 and explained the situation and wanted to speak to someone and distinctively told the young lady I did not want to speak to anyone at the Hendersonville branch. Within 30 minutes I received a call from Kelli Froman GM who was very combative and extremely RUDE. I was an irate customer and had every right to be because my cc was charged over $7000 for work that hadn't been done. Telling me to calm down like I was a child and said she was yelling at me because I was yelling at her. When I told her I wanted to cancel she told me that they were going to charge me 20% of the project. This is HORRIBLE customer service and gives BCR a bad name. To date I have not received a call back from corporate but I did receive my credit card statement with the fraudulent charges leaving me with remaining credit of 234. DO NOT USE BCR!!
