Our son's 20th birthday dinner was later that evening, and since his girlfriend is gluten-free, we wanted to surprise her with something she could enjoy. We chatted with the daughter of the owner, who was so friendly and informative. Her mom (the owner) is gluten-free, but she's not -- so they intentionally aim to make their GF recipes taste as close to the "regular" versions as possible. I really appreciated the care and thought that goes into that! They offer gluten-free and dairy-free treats, including cupcakes, donuts, macaroons, cake and brownie slices, and more. They also take custom orders for special occasions, which is great to know for future birthdays or events. We picked up two macaroons (around $6 and change for both). They were delicate, chewy, and our birthday guest enjoyed them! While we didn't personally try them, she gave them a thumbs-up. Even though we don't have any food allergies, I love when a small local spot puts effort into making everyone feel included. Supporting businesses that do that well always feels good. When I build a house over a million dollars, I should not have to create the specs for the AC Pad, Generac Pad, Pool Pad, and Mini Split pad because their specs did not allow for enough air flow as required for an AC unit or the Generac. Blue Water Homes also put our master bath on the inside wall - the drawing call for floor to ceiling shower - so we caught it and it was corrected and the slab was poured - only to be dug up by their Senior foreman, Richard, could not find his way out of a box, and we had to tell them - LOOK AT YOUR PLANS.
