This is a very nice small family business. Ordered Italian Ice and Cappuccino Crunch Italian Ice both of which were refreshing and delicious. Prices were on target. There was plenty of parking outside, and a few small tables and chairs inside. Purdees was clean, comfortable, and not to be missed! They had regular ice cream, other Italian Ice flavors (no dairy), shakes, dirty sodas, Sundaes. I saw another family drinking shakes and floats, which looked fabulous! Easy to get to from highway 95 for those wanting a quick stop off highway. Definitely will return! read more

This place is AMAZING!!! So creative and delicious! A different twist on Ice Cream, Italian Ice and Pineapple Dole freeze!! This place is a MUST visit to see, taste and experience! The owners (husband & wife) are SUPER Friendly and he is a Veteran who supports his local community and local Veterans which is FANTASTIC! It was quite empty when we got there but don't let that fool you. The cashier was great and gave us some recommendations. I wish I had gotten photos of my daughter and husbands. They got a salted caramel flavor and the blue raspberry/cherry with sour spray. My husband said it reminded him of his childhood. Our first visit and we will be coming back. Young lady behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful. We received a free small cup of soft serve for our dog which was very nice. The soft serve is delicious, creamy and not to sweet. They offer many flavors and suggested creations. We had the mango ice with soft serve it was excellent . read more

We happened on this place by accident. Our usual ice cream place didn't have soft ice cream because their machine was broken down so we set out on a quest. We found Purdees by accident and what a happy accident it was. Behind the counter is the owner. He runs the place himself with a lot of Love and pride in what he does. The ices are delicious and he is very obliging at letting you taste different flavors. Everything (for the most part) is either low-fat zero fat, low cholesterol. Healthy yummy's. He also has soft serve vanilla /chocolate yogurt etc. for the more traditional palates. ( they are heavenly!! ) Dole whip too!! Give this place a try for sure!! I know you'll love it. read more

I'm excuse me they have doll whip so we don't have to go all the way to Disney world to get it. Even though I love Disney, you can go to a local place that makes fruity delicious ice cream and it's cheaper than going to Disney it's just damn right awesome and they have cute game nights and it's a tropical place so of course I'm gonna go there and hang out. Amazing Italian ice and soft serve! We got cotton candy, coconut, orange cream, and chocolate and all were super refreshing and delicious. Soft serve both chocolate and vanilla were so good. Super sweet owners and free samples. Very cute store with fun decor and games like Jenga so you can hang out and eat your ice cream. I highly recommend you check this place out! read more

Each day they post a "name of the day" on Facebook where someone with that name gets a free donut or ice cream from their sister shop. I had made a couple of friends at school, and one day they took me to a small Mexican fast food place called Arman's. I had never had a taco before. I didn't even know what one was. They ordered for me. That first bite changed everything. It was spicy, full of flavor, and unlike anything I had ever tasted. I couldn't stop eating them. Back then, tacos were under fifty cents, so I went as often as I could afford. That taste stayed with me. Fast forward to a couple of years ago when I discovered A1A Burrito Works. I walked in, and to be honest, the decor didn't impress me. But I wasn't there for ambiance. I ordered two tacos to go and headed back to my car. That's where everything changed. I tried to eat while driving. That was a mistake. These tacos were massive, packed with meat, lettuce, and everything that comes with "The Works." I had to pull over just to properly enjoy them. And then it hit me. One bite took me straight back to 1971. After decades of eating tacos all over the place, these were the first ones that brought that feeling back. The same bold flavor. The same satisfaction. The same experience I never forgot. Since then, I don't go anywhere else for tacos. If you care about flashy interiors, this might not be your place. I tried several flavors (chocolate PB and brownie and s'mores) and ended up getting mint chocolate chip with hot fudge - delicious! Hubs waffles between buttered pecan and maple walnut and the sweet young lady behind the counter recommended the maple walnut - I had a bite and it was really good!

My husband and I were in town running errands and completely came across here by accident. The owner is the nicest and had the best customer service !! The atmosphere is tropical and makes you feel like you're laying on the beach ! And last but NOT least the flavors were AMAZING. They have so many different flavor choices and creations ! My husband and I have completely different flavor opinions when it comes to sweets and they have many flavors for us both to choose from and enjoy ! we will definitely be coming back !!! read more

Nothing better than Italian ice or soft serve ice cream on a hot day. Here, you can have both! Wide selection of Italian ice flavors(sugar free options as well) and soft serve options(some are dairy free). If you've never been there, stop by and treat yourself. Very family friendly with plenty of seating, games, and a wall the kids can write on. Dog friendly as well. read more

We checked out this place on our last day of vacation on a whim. We are grateful that we did! As soon as we walked in, the owner was welcoming. He also gave us plenty of samples and helped us pick out something that we would find tasty. The dole whip is very good and the soft serve is super creamy! This place definitely has something for everybody. read more
