We're always looking for local shops to enjoy and my husband came across this spot. It was busy and the line was long, but boy was it worth it. The owner(?) and employee were super friendly and accommodated us. We order the iced blackberry mocha and iced raspberry white mocha which were delicious and a generous portion. For breakfast, I ordered a turkey, egg, tomato, green onion lavash wrap and my husband ordered a tuna croissant. We DEVOURED our food and drinks. The ambiance is cozy, relaxed, and welcoming. I've been here before and it was nice. Today, I think there's new management and they were very welcoming. There are a number of different coffees and a pretty decent selection of teas. The owner, Mr. Alex, is incredibly hospitable and wants to ensure your time at the Jacked Up Bean is worthwhile. I enjoyed my Earl Grey while listening to the smooth jazz sounds in the background. This is a wonderful place to just chill and enjoy the tranquility. It's great whether you're on your own or with a group. There's ample seating to accommodate your needs. Not from around the area so I'm assuming everything is a little pricier around hammock beach... anyways, I ordered an everything bagel with eggs and bacon and cheese and ketchup and mayo and it was so good my husband ordered an extra one. I also ordered an off the menu "special" .. owner said there's a first for everything and it was a crepe with the 3 cheeses (all except royal) melted with egg & it was actually very comforting and good. The signature cinnamon crunch coffee was what my husband ordered and he loved it. A little sweeter for my pallet but my cappuccino was perfect and the coffee beans were so fresh and grounded individually for each drink. Great local spot for community coffee. My husband tried the Iced Dirty Chai Latte and enjoyed it. I tried the Iced Blended Coffee with French Vanilla added...it was a frozen coffee and was enjoyable. We had danishes: one plain cheese and one cherry. So why only 4 stars? When we approached, the door was open and smelled like someone was smoking inside. The smoke from the person outside was pouring in. The danishes were warmed in the microwave which made mine (none fruit - i think the fruit helped my husbands stay moist) - mine became drier than normal and gave the breading an almost stale feel as you ate it. Absolutely stellar from start to finish. Stopped by for the first time today. From walking in, the interior is cozy and inviting, the menus are clear and offer a huge variety of specialized drinks. The staff was welcoming and gave us plenty of explanation on what they offered and what they could customize for us. Got oat milk lattes; one a tiramisu flavor and the other a peppermint mocha. On our way back home to NC, my friend and I stopped here for an iced coffee for the road. I'm very glad we did. From the moment you walk in, you are treated like a regular. The gentleman at the register (I wish I had gotten his name) was awesome and very helpful. We were able to take our time in figuring out the menu and deciding what flavor to go with. The other two ladies were very friendly and helpful as well. You can tell they make a great time. We decided on the "jacked" white chocolate raspberry and the cinnamon crunch. No regrets! Woof. This is just not a good coffee shop. I visited on a weekday morning when the shop was not busy, but not completely dead (just to allay any suspicion that anything about the current stream of customers could be a reason for how bad things were). I'll lay out the order from my group below: 1) 1x dirty chai - the barista had 5 or 6 shots of cold espresso waiting on the counter to be poured into drinks as they were ordered (not made fresh). She grabbed the cup for the DC and scooped a diabetes-inspiring heap of chai powder into the cup and then threw in the room-cold espresso. I guess the milk was ok? The DC was so sweet it was unpalatable and the espresso was so burnt that you could smell it through the pound of sugar in the cup. 0/5, would not DC again. 2) 1x espresso (double shot) - the barista just poured 3 of the room temp shots into a cup and slung it my way like a bar keep in an old-timey bar on a country western tv show (kidding; she nicely handed it to me). There's something very specific about a room-temp/cold drink that's so burned that it makes your nose itch. 0/5 stars - would not espresso again. 3) 1x egg sandwich on roll - overcook egg; super bland egg; kraft singles (or similar) cheese. Fine, but I could ask my 7 year old to make this for me? This is a coffee shop, so I don't want to be a jerk and put too much focus on their food, but this was just lazy and boring. Better to serve outsourced pastries than to serve boring sandwiches for $6 The barista was nice enough, but this place was a mega-drag. If I could award it 0 stars, I would. read more

So when I heard that a new coffee house opened up in Palm Coast, where I frequently spend time, I was eager to check it out, especially after I heard so many great things about them. The place is decorated beautifully! And the owners, you couldn't ask for a nicer, welcoming pair! This is the type of place where you always feel right at home. The selection of coffee and food is tremendous! You can order just about any type of coffee you can think of, along with rare additions like oat milk, which combines nicely with coffee by the way. There is a variety of snacks to satisfy the sweet tooth as well as beautifully crafted sandwiches like ham & cheese on a croissant. And if you're from up north and missing those famous bagels we always hear so much about, this is the place to go! The sheer size alone is very impressive!
