We hired them to open up the first floor of our Cape Cod, and they completely helped me re-imagine the space taking down several walls to create a true open-concept layout. Along the way they installed new hardwood floors across the entire first floor, redid our shower, replaced both toilets, moved our washer and dryer, and prepped all the groundwork for our kitchen renovation. The craftsmanship throughout was outstanding. The part that really earned our trust is they delivered on what they promised AND THEN SOME! They finished within the estimate they quoted, and they were remarkably fast and efficient without ever cutting corners. Glen and his crew went above and beyond at every turn. His entire team was helpful, friendly, and easy to work with from the first day to the last. I would name them all here because I've gotten to know them personally, but I'll let you experience it first hand! We needed our master bathroom completely gutted and refinished (bad water damage from a busted pipe) and while my other half and I are usually up for doing it... we ran out of steam halfway through gutting because there is just so much other stuff in our lives at this time that we needed help. Like everyone else said, clean, efficient, price is more than reasonable, work is absolutely solid, and gives amazing recommendations when I ask about their opinion on aesthetics. Usually on time or early, if plans change they let me know way ahead of time. They also care about the longevity of their work (an example would be coming to me and letting me know I should buy a metal hose rather than use the one provided with the washer/dryer unit.) They started last Monday and had the rough done by that Thursday during which time they started the tile work--anyone whose done any DIY construction knows the rough takes the longest and they were able to start the finish work that same week. No one tried to upsell me on anything, or recommend work I didn't need done unless I specifically asked/requested. It was all about what my vision of what I wished the bathroom to look like and that is really important to me. My husband took one look at everything they did so far (he's a perfectionist, to put it lightly) and was extremely impressed--he had quite a bit of anxiety about not being able to finish it ourselves but it put him at ease when he saw the skill and care they put into making it our (my) dream bathroom. The workmanship is excellent, and they are meticulous about doing it right. Because of this, I also contacted them to work on another property I have in Queens, and again, the price of which was reasonable and since I trust their work, it was a no brainer to go with them again.

It is so quiet one might not realize that work is done there. I sure didn't hear anything). Keep in mind that Cambria Buckingham quartz is NOT a seamless product. You will have a seam but it is very thin. If you weren't aware of it then you probably wouldn't even notice! Cambria has an iPhone app so you can see the different products and project ideas. In addition to quartz, GT Marble sells other material as well such as granite and obviously marble. I was only considering granite or quartz. My husband and I went with quartz because it suits our needs better. You can get your sink, sink protector, faucet, soap dispenser, and tiles there too. My back splash tiles are by MSI International and are honed Travertine in Durango Cream. The listello (also by MSI International) is tumbled Travertine and called Noce Listello. MSI International has brochures you can read in iBooks. I think you might have to go to their website first but I could be wrong. It's been a while. When the family put in the countertop, they were quick, and careful. They made sure everything was done neatly every step of the way. Giuseppe (I hope I spelled his name correctly and I apologize if I didn't) is the owner and is an utmost professional and seemed like a perfectionist. He is someone I would definitely want to work with again. This is a family business and his sons are just as polite and hardworking as he is. These people seem to put a lot of pride into their work and don't seem to cut corners. They also work very quickly.

But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions.
