I absolutely love this school! My oldest has been going here for 3 years now and I can't express…read morehow much he thrives here. My biggest concern with my son starting at a big boy school was that he has so many allergies and if not caught on time can be severe. Nurse heather has been with him all these years and is always on top of his medication when a reaction is about to happen. She will call me every time and update me and let me know he is okay, she has been my life saver and has help put that anxiety at ease. All of the teachers he's had also know about his allergies and are very on top of it as well. They make sure parents who want to bring in treats (Valentine's Day, birthdays, etc) know that it is an allergy classroom and give us alternatives to bring in. All the staff are friendly and try very hard to remember every student and parent. The principal is so involved with the students day to day school life and is always around the halls chatting with the kiddos. My son absolutely adore his principal, very different experience from mine (I barely knew my principles). Overall this is a wonderful school with wonderful staff that make your kids feel safe, happy, and want to go to school. They also have a preschool program and I can't wait for my baby girl to attend there when it's her time!!

Very disappointed in the administration for this school. They have great teachers but the people…read morewho run the school are not in the best interest of the children and just coverup for one another. Don't expect accountability, only expect lies and coverups when you have issues. They lied about my daughter making the cheer team after she was bullied and removed her from the cheerleading team and allowed the bullies to be apart of the team but told my daughter, the victim she couldn't attend. From The Principal, to the Assistant Principal to the Guidance Counselor to the Dean all heard my issue and ignored my issue and we reported a bullying claim against the child and the school went 14 days without even documenting the issue even though the Principal, Assistant Principal and Guidance Counselor all stated that it would be filed when the incident happened but were untruthful because I didn't know the official process so I couldn't tell if it had been filed or not. Once contacting DUVAL County School Board (Which only takes the bullying reports and document them.) now all of a sudden they want to handle the bully report like they were supposed to weeks ago, I also reached out to the Charter Schools corporate office and no one ever responded. I left voicemails and emails but no one cared. I literally had the fight for my child to be out the class with the bully's and the administrators were so frustrated that they were removing her that I believe in part that's why they retaliated against my daughter. They say they want parental involvement but when they get it they don't want it. I told them I want to volunteer and I'm DUVAL County Approved Volunteer. They have yet to respond. I now know why the morning and afternoon drop off and pickup line is so horrible and I feel it's because the administration. They did my child wrong a 10 year old who reported getting bullied and kids were spreading rumors that she had lice in her head and as she was trying out for cheer they were bullying her saying means things. She reports the incidents and are some how removed from the cheer squad because of it. Very poor leadership. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone although they have great teachers I'm now hearing from other parents that they've had to also remove the kids from the school because they were getting bullied, the administrators turns a blind eye to bullying.

They're always sharing news with us about my son's behavior or his needs (both opportunities and praises! which we appreciate). My son basically jumps out of my arms into Ms. Dixon's arms every morning, which makes me feel so good dropping him off every day knowing he looks forward to who he's spending his days with, and confirms to me he's in a loving and safe environment that he enjoys. Thank you Ms. Ledden, Ms. Dixon, and Ms. Yancey for your love and support of our son in the Toddler 2 classroom!

I saw other reviews for this daycare and felt compelled to write a review as several of the reviews…read morewere from people who haven't attended the daycare. We've been sending out child to Primrose for 2 years now and are very pleased with the quality of care received. Getting in: There is a length wait list because this is quite a popular school. I recommend signing up as soon as you find out you're expecting if this is the school you want to go to. We signed up at 6 months pregnant and had a year wait list. Our child was able to start in their Infant 2 class and is currently in their toddler 4 class. Fees: There's no way around this. It's expensive. This is a quality daycare. The facility is in immaculate condition. There are lots of toys in each of the classes. There are several great playground on site as well as a splashpad. Tuition includes 2 meals and 3 snacks daily. Parents are served breakfast and snack once a week. Staff: The staff are great at this location! The turnover is very low and most of the teachers that we've had in the last 2 years are still there. I think this speaks to the quality of the school, helps to justify and price, and the work environment for the staff.

Our son was one of the first children at this location when it opened. In those first few years we…read moreabsolutely loved the tight knit community and attention to detail the staff and directors offered. However as we now enter our child's third year at the school with numerous staff and leadership turnover we utilize this school more out of convenience than personal choice. There have been several instances of miscommunication from leadership with our family. Even more concerning, is the notable leadership turnover in such a short period of time. Unfortunately there is not a standard practice in place for routine class transitions which allow children of the same age an equal opportunity to access all learning tools which the school prides itself on. It's extremely disappointing to see such obvious stagnation and regression in our child's classroom engagement and learning for what appears to be the sake of appeasing incoming families on waitlists or special circumstances. I do hope moving forward the school is able to put in place more concrete class groupings so that all children are afforded an equal opportunity to engage and excel in their pivotal early learning years with the developmentally appropriate materials and tools the school has to offer.

This school is the worst place to put a child that is autistic. My son is on the spectrum which…read morecomes with ADHD and meltdowns and aggression. That is normal for kids on the spectrum. The aggression stems from them not knowing how to use their words. He had behavioral therapists there with him everyday and he was only at this school for four days before they kicked out a special needs child! A normal non special needs child takes a week to transition to a new place....a child on the spectrum takes at least two weeks maybe three. The owner did not allow that. The teachers have no training on how to handle and teach a child on the spectrum at all. The owner also LIED and said the behavioral therapists sat and let my son hit and kick the teacher and they ignored it. TOTAL LIES!! I have the proof from the notes that they have to put in every week from the sessions. So the owner lied to me, the teacher lied also. I called the ADA and was told what they did violated the ADA act and to file a complaint. I have filed a complaint with the ADA. This place needs to be shut down for good. They are horrible. They also wanna charge almost $1200 a month you have to pay on the 1st of every month and they don't provide lunch, you have to provide lunch for your child and they wanna charge that much. Basically a daycare for rich snobby people!

Many issues - this location lost three good teachers in the course of a year. A consequence of this…read moreis that children get passed around to very inexperienced teachers or the short tempered Director who likes to put hands on children and drag them while yelling at them for "ignoring" instead of seeing that the child has shut down. They discriminate against perceived disabilities. They lack basic understanding of cause and effect. Children are a product of their environment. - If you want no dysregulated children, maybe staff more educated/trained teachers and provide a calm, consistent environment - children would behave accordingly. The handbook talks about cameras for the safety of the children - what they don't tell you and what is not in the handbook is that parents are not allowed to view the video to view circumstances leading up to events. They purposely mislead parents, they interrogate/coerce information from 3 year olds without parents present. I suggest going anywhere else but daycares operated/owned by Learning Care Group. I thought it might just be this location and Director level. It is not. The response or lack of response is indicative of a much larger (not even regional) liability/risk governance issue at corporate level. They do not care about children.
