I've had a great experience from beginning to end. I came in initially for a knee problem and was assessed by Dr.Balldin. With his years of experience, he was able to pinpoint an ACL tear. Although I wasn't happy about the news, his team has helped make this journey an easy experience. His team help me set up an MRI that was in the same building for another day. I was able to get a follow up a few weeks after. The only thing I'd change is how long everything took from initial evaluation to each step. They're busy and service a lot of people so it's to be expected, but I've always received excellent service from the PT staff and office staff. I was fortunate enough to go to their office on Halloween and they absolutely crushed it with all of the outfits. Always excited to go back! read more

On my initial appointment with Dr. Cruz, when I became a little panicked about a procedure, he was very patient and calming. The bill Veterans out of pocket for a "surgical assistant" then refuse to reimburse the veteran or speak to the VA Claims representative. This is 100% illegal and they know it. They won't return the VAs calls to resolve this issue. This place is shady as hell. They send it NPs instead of the surgeon for appts, they use the PT assistants during sessions instead of the actual therapist. Do not get any care here. My wife dislocated her ankle, broke her tibia, and shattered her fibula. Dr Brown's people got her am appointment right away and scheduled surgery in two days. The quality of the work was stellar and his personal attention to patient care sweet a very high bar which was met by everyone working with him. This place is EFFICIENT! I showed up 15min before my appointment as they recommended, and was ready to wait a while (as you do with most specialists). Before my appointment time I had x-rays taken and was put into a room. The doctor came in within 5 minutes and was thorough and straight to the point with options and information. It's no wonder this place is so big- there are a lot of patients, but there are tons of employees and they have their system down like a well-greased engine. This place is a mill. Must've been 60 patients in the waiting room, more wandering the halls along with a dozen or so staff. The doctor sees me, orders surgery to be scheduled within 2 days and they never follow up. I waste hours trying to contact them. They do not return emails,texts or voicemail. MY insurer explained how TSAOG messed up and told them how to fix it. They didn't. Instead TSAOG finally calls me and rather than admit their mistakes they basically tell me to do their administrative work for them..like transferring records and processing authorization requests. If you want to be treated like cattle this is the place for you. read more

I was looking for a sports doctor to urgently tend to my 15 yr olds pinkie that she hurt playing basketball and found this place. Reading reviews, I was hesitant but also despite. They got my daughter in that day. They did her X-rays before she was even seen and scheduled for surgery at the end of her appointment. The PA went through the scans , let us take pictures of the scans, and made my freaked out daughter so comfortable. The people who wrapped her hand made her laugh and explained everything to her while they were working on her. The PA she saw was extremely nice and informative. She went into detail on what was wrong with my daughter, and when she saw my daughter upset with the news, she was comforting and understanding. She let my daughter look at the x-rays and explained the brake and why she needed surgery. She explained the surgery, the pain, the recovery, and the post-op. She spoke to my daughter, which I really respected. She treated my daughter like a mature adult and not a child. As we were making our surgical appointment, she was talking to my daughter about the surgeon that was going to do the surgery (Dr. Rowland) and trying to answer my daughters many Questions. Then the Dr actually comes out of one of the rooms and her eyes open wide like she just saw the Grim Reapers (mind you she's extremely terrified with this being her first time ever getting hurt). His PA introduces them and he right away starts talking to her about her brake and how it's best to have surgery ASAP. She just nods and says nothing. He then says, do you have any questions? How many people have you killed??? Is what comes out of her mouth. Omg my face must have turned tomato red! He looked at her and said, Luckily NONE. I have a pretty good track record so far. So she says, let me Google You! She stood right in front of him and Googled him. She ended up finding a cute picture of him when he was a kid and he told her about that picture and that calmed her down. I think that personal story made her feel comfortable with him and set the tone for the rest of the time with him. On the day of surgery, she was nervous, but she trusted him. He did an amazing job. He really made us feel very comfortable and his whole staff were so attentive and nice. I would 100% highly recommend Dr Rowland and his staff if you and any had issues. My experience has been one of frustration with this Group. Their website and phone communications processes are flawed. Personnel do not answer the phone nor follow up when concerns are voiced, messages left. It's very difficult to reschedule or change an appointment, even though it's very easy to make one on line. The providers ignore the patient portal, so it's useless to send them messages on it. Messages go unanswered. Now, the last straw, they THREW OUT MY ONLY COPY OF XRAYS DONE IN THE MILITARY, despite my call on the day they were left to find the CD and hold it until I could pick it up. When I came in the front desk staff (at CONCORD location) said "we don't have space to hold them for more than a few days." THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! While Providers seem knowledgeable in Orthopedics, the business practices, for such a large multiclinic operation, are very poor, making it very difficult to trust them for medical care. Subsequently, I cannot confidently recommend this Orthopedics Practice to others. They have not listened to the many instances or poor communication and business practices, offering only excuses without assurance that they want to fix the problems. read more

I was very disappointed. I originally wanted an appointment with another doctor there who had very high reviews. Booked out. So I agreed to see Dr. Rowland. He came into the room and had my x-ray up. He said I was going to need surgery and pins.i showed him my splint as I was taking it off. He mumbled under his breath that he could fix me up with something better than that. I asked if i could possibly go without surgery and showed him the movement i had in it. And It had already been a month. I said I have had a lot of surgeries being a stage 4 melanoma surviver and had been in a car accident hit by a drumk driver. You could see the 2 plates on my radius and ulna. If I could avoid surgery, it would be great.But if it meant losing the use of the finger, I couldn't do that. I told him that I was a photographer for some old rock bands and needed my pinky to hold my cameras, etc. I showed him how I needed to hold my camera. I needed that finger.he asked me what bands and I told him. He showed me the break, and it was petty serious. He also showed me how my bottom knuckle had been moved outward. He said i needed surgery and pins. And i couldn't move it at all for a month in a cast. Dont get me wrong. It hurt moving it around. I have a high tolerance for pain.Key word Tolerence. Since it had been a month, I asked if I worked my finger i could i maybe get it to straighten out. He said he'd be back, and as he got up, he mumbled rudely, so you took pictures for x and x bands, huh, and walked out. He had a trainee with him this whole time, too. So he basically rushed my appt, then he curtley dismissed me and said he'd see me in a month. No help on physical therapy or how to correctly do it nothing. Then the trainee came in with two little velcro strips to put my 2 fingers together. She had no idea how or where to place them. I could understand that it was pretty flimsy and worthless.i needed a splint too because it was so crooked. I drove 3 1/2 hours to that appointment for professional care and compassionate care. I would not let him touch me with a 10 foot pole. Very cold and condescending. Yes,, he sure fixed me up with something better. What a joke. What a waste of my time expecting to be treated like a patient with rights and dignity. No compassion what so ever. read more

I keep getting emails about a bill, but when I call to ask about it, the line goes to a voicemail. I will continue to leave negative reviews until they contact me and explain their predatory billing practices. PREDATORY BILLING I was first impressed with how quickly I was seen after making an appointment. The check in process seemed very efficient and I was on my way in less than an hour. My problem is that a month after I was seen I now got an email for an additional $180 bill?!? I was very direct and clear when I asked specifically what I would need to pay before making an appointment. They assured me it was ONLY a $30 copay after checking my insurance. To take it a step further, they recommended a splint and I joked with the guy who brought it out saying I didn't need it and they probably charge $400 for a DME that likely cost $10. He said I should take it anyways since insurance picks up the bill. Upon receiving the additional bill I tried calling them before posting this review, but for billing you are just sent to a robot recording to leave a voicemail. They have now sent emails about a bill 4 times but I have yet to speak with anyone from the clinic. Do yourself a favor and go to a group that will be honest with you regarding billing, not TSAOG. They send an email with an unexpected, unsolicited bill with no explanation of what it is for. Reported today at 6:30 am for a complete knee replacement and excellence is what I received. Start with Dr. Viroslav who repaired my broken arm in 2013. He has a calming manner and makes you comfortable. He will be doing all future orthopedic surgeries. Nurse Lindsey was so smooth with her sticks I didn't feel them. The anesthesiologist explained what he would be doing and used an extra measure to ensure the knee nerve block only hit it's mark. Both the Surgery Nurse and Aftercare Nurse did a great job. I'm a bleeder so we drove back to the TSAOG urgent care center for redressing. They close at 7:30 pm and we arrived at 7:15. All stellar staff. Debra was so comforting and attentive as was Annette. PA David knows what he is doing and is unflappable. All done at 8:04 pm. TSAOG gave me a perfect orthopedic surgery experience. They are the most hardworking and professional staff. Called TSAOG this morning about their after hours clinic. Was told I didn't need an appointment and as long as I arrived by 6pm I would be seen. I asked and confirmed and was assured of that. Leave work early so I can make it there by 530. Arrived and went to the third floor. The lady at the front desk seemed annoyed the downstairs just sent me up and called me to the back computer. And then proceeded to tell me all their spots for the after hours walk in clinic were full. I told her what I had been told this morning and she proceeded to explain it didn't matter that they had max patients. However she still asked for my ID and insurance card. I explained I wouldn't have left work early and rushed over here if I had known that and explained I couldn't come all week so i knew this was my only shot which is why I had called this morning to confirm how to use their walk in clinic. The woman at the desk proceeded to say she could schedule me an appointment for tomorrow at 3pm. I said what part of I can't come any other day this week wasn't clear and asked her to give me my cards back. Someone needs to be retrained. Not sure if it was the scheduling person from the morning, the person at the desk downstairs or the person upstairs tonight. But someone needs some retraining. What's the point of a walk in clinic if you won't take walk ins. Why did she need my ID and insurance card (and why did she copy them) if she knew I couldn't be seen. Why not listen to your patients when they walk in and tell you this is my only opportunity to come. Arrived at 530 with no one in the waiting room and I couldn't be seen, I doubt it. My guess is it was going to hold her up from leaving. Won't recommend and won't be back. Horrible service all the way around. read more

Prior to the procedure, they mentioned someone else would call us about the medications/drugs that would be used because my wife is breastfeeding. I've been a patient of record here for 6 years. As a Doctor, I think it is important that all my Doctors have a full understanding of my health history. For that reason I have prepared a full record, one page, of my medical history, as well as my medications. I've taken it twice to this office and asked the front desk to scan it into my record. I went in today for a consultation and took an updated copy to personally give to the Doctor. When the nurse sat down with me to go over my records on the screen in the visit room I gave it to her. She confirmed that there was not a copy of it in the record. I was not only appalled but really angry. Any Doctors office would be really happy to have a full history of their patients health. Most ask you to fill something out with their records. It is important information. The front desk here is sadly lacking. They need to be reminded they aren't there to look after a computer, but that they are an important part of patients health. I ran Dental offices for 40 years. I always reminded my staff of their responsibilities. This is a poor reflection on this medical group. The office manager, and the Doctors, need to address this. It doesn't matter how good your Doctors are, if the front office is mismanaging the records you are not taking proper care of your patients. I am speaking from 40 years of patient care. read more

I received PT at TSAOG-Quarry for the past 5 weeks. Chris Troyer and his team are excellent! They are friendly, very efficient and truly care about the progress of their patients. While my underlying condition still requires surgery, they have helped reduce pain in the meantime, increase flexibility and teach me how to continue doing the PT on my own until the time of surgery. After surgery, if the surgeon recommends PT, I will definitely return to TSAOG-Quarry for treatment. read more

I had a total knee replacement with Dr Garcia/Brian Barnes (his PA) a couple of weeks ago, and I cannot thank him and his team enough for their care, compassion and expertise. All his staff, pre-op, post op, Pt team at the Concorde are professional and friendly. They take care to take you through the process, emphasising how important pre op and post op instructions are in order for you to get up and about as quickly as possible. I shall be having my other knee done later this year and would not think of going to any other practice. Thanks to them again - I shall be hiking in Peru in no time. read more

We had a 1:00 appointment for a Ganglion cyst removal and they asked us to arrive at 11:30 even though we already had submitted all required paperwork. They also said it would be a quick 20 minute procedure. We were called up to the surgical area at 1:10. It's 3:04 pm, still waiting for the procedure and haven't had anything to eat or drink since 9:00 pm yesterday. Also, we said we wanted to split the payment into two and they agreed, but the lady at the counter applied both payments to our card today No one has communicated anything to us in over an hour. Definitely would not recommend Edit: Dr Cho was our doctor Edit 2: it is now 4:00. Finally paged someone by hitting the "help" button. This facility leaves much to be desired. My surgeon was GREAT and I have nothing but great things to say about him. But beyond the docs (surgeon, anesthesia), the entire post-op situation was terrible! First the nurse that was over my care - right in front of me, and though I was drugged up, I was aware - says to her nurse-boss, she didn't want to get stuck with me! I came out of the procedure in a lot of pain and I had to given several pain shots fro me to get comfortable. I guess she didn't want to "deal" with that (silly me, I thought that the reason these people become nurses).... We left the facility that day and I have continued to discover multiple things left out of my care and have had to advocate for myself because the nurses failed to provide proper discharge information. Worse yet is not knowing what MORE they failed to do. These include: 1. Not giving me TED hose or telling me that I need to wear them for blood clot prevention (I learned that TODAY - 2 weeks post op!!). I still don't know how long I'm to wear them ea day, is it if I am moving around or all the time - no idea 2. Not informing me that I needed to take Aspirin daily - I called the doc office 1 week ago and asked bc id read it in something they gave me. Was told yes, 1 per day. 2a - Today - 2 weeks post op - I learned I was supposed to be taking aspirin 2 times a day, not once a day!! 3. Home health never contacted me and I never knew who they were. So never started early exercise efforts or was evaluated. I was t released with the name of any company. 4. This is more likely the doc's office, but I also had to call to get the order for PT created and entered into the system as none was entered. I have terrible Ins so didn't have home PT but I've literally had to call and ask about one issue after another to make sure I am getting proper care. What saddens me is this was my first major surgery. Attitudes were really cavalier at how easy and no big deal it is. I disagree with this thinking and wish they'd stop acting like it's nothing - it s a major surgery and they should provide more information about how it could go; stop acting like you dance off the operating table. I didn't know what to expect. I am disappointed at the poor level of follow through and lack of proper care. And sadly, I do not know what more I could be missing. I would not return to this facility for another surgery and advise you to be eyes wide open if you choose to receive services from this site. read more

I severely sprained my hamstring in a trail race over the weekend and the back of my leg was bruised from the top to below my calf. While looking for an ER or urgent care clinic with an Ortho focus I came across the OrthoNow clinic which advertised as skipping the ER and come straight to the specialist with onsite imaging including CT and MRI. I called in the morning they said that the OrthoNow clinic opens at 11:30 and they scheduler verified they had an MRI onsite. When I arrived I was greeted with a thick stack of very redundant paperwork, I see no reason why you have to explain why you are being seen on 3 forms and to two different people before the physician sees you and asks why are you here today. It turns out the specialist was a P.A., there was an MRI but it was by previous appointment only. After an XRay to verify it was soft tissue damage the P.A. wrapped a loose ace bandage around my thigh (which fell off before I left the building) and they set me up with an appointment with an Orthopedic doctor 5 days later. Not once did he ask about pain level or check manually for any large bulges or swelling. I ended up calling around myself to find a place to get an MRI the same day. If you are injured you are better off going to an ER or an Urgent care facility unless you just want a pat on the butt and a referral for a week later. read more

Been trying to recover money from a surgery that was canceled by the center's admitted mistake in policy concerning my wellbeing before and after the surgery. Their answer to the over looked mistake is "its not there problem" and I can forget to recover the left over money spent which they openly know was there fault. Now I have to wait to save money to see another physician concerning my medical surgical procedure. I love this group. I have surgeries there and have always been treated so good. I love Dr. Duncan, and Dr. Woodbury. My back has been fixed and my carpel tunnel is a thing of the past. I had to visit the SA Orthopaedic Group's OrthoNow clinic on a Saturday after hurting my neck during a workout. The doctor listened patiently as I told him about my injury and the events leading up to it, did a thorough evaluation, and then suggested a treatment. What I really admired about the doctor working that day (Dr. Griffin) was that he explained that because my injury was purely muscle related and did not affect my spine, that there were alternative treatments, namely acupuncture, that could potentially prevent a similar injury in the future. Most doctors I've seen in recent years have been very eager to push pills and don't seem to care about alternative treatments or prevention. I ended up getting a few shots into the affected muscles to help the spasming, but will be taking his advice in the future. Overall I liked Dr. Griffin, really felt like he cared about me and my specific situation, and took pride in offering me a well-rounded solution. A+ in my book! read more

I currently use SAOG for treatment from a car wreck I experienced on 12\19\17. I just moved to the area in July and I needed several doctors for continuing treatment. I feel lucky to have found one company with all the doctors I need. I am currently being seen of SAOG Orthopedic, Hand Orthopedic, chiropractor, and pain management. The doctors are all knowledgeable and are dedicated to trying to improve my quality of life. Not just write me off and pump me full of opioids. I highly recommend them. read more
