I've been seeing Dr. Doncheva for about four years now. By far, she is the best dentist I've ever been to. Her office is clean, her staff is friendly, and she has the best chair side manner I've ever experienced. She takes the time to really get to know my teeth and really get to understand how I feel when I'm in the dentist chair. I recently had a filling done by Dr. Doncheva. After the feelings returned to my mouth, I noticed that an adjustment was needed for my bite. When I called Dr. Doncheva's office, they offered to immediately take care of the adjustment, even though Dr. Doncheva's lunch hour was almost ready to begin. I was referred to this office by a friend and, having now visit three times, I can say that this is one of the best dentists, dental offices (and dental staffs) that I've ever encountered. The office is clean and bright - all the employees are friendly, and they seem to use the latest technology in dentistry. It helps that they have been extra kind to me when I've had my toddler with me, too. The folks here have catered to a busy dad who has had to tote his daughter to multiple exams - and they always welcome us with kindness, taking special care to make sure my kiddo is happy while she waits nearby as I'm in the chair. My husband and I were new to Placentia and needed to find a good dentist. My husband and I received a mailer from Dr. Doncheva's office offering a free bleaching kit with custom trays with any new client visit. We scheduled our appointments and both had a great experience with Dr. Donocheva. She was honest, on time, easy to understand and thorough with her exam and discovered that my husband needed a crown. Her office accepts our dental coverage which helped with the $1,300.00 cost. Our insurance covered half of the cost. Her office is CLEAN and well organized. They use digital x-ray which is also nice. They offer late afternoon appointments to help those that cannot get in by 3-4 PM she also has Saturday hours. I can't believe it! Finally a great Dentist. I have had some work done in the Military and out and seen good and bad Dentists. Most of the offices up sell and have no sense of caring for the patient. I'm not very trusting and she does listen to her patients and even if it is nonsense! They didn't throw the easy financing plan and push for the poor quality crowns or the good ones. The front office ladies are very professional and are courteous and the office is very upscale and I was relaxed. They do care and explain the others are clinics this place is not. Going to the Dentist isn't the best time, but it actually was a pleasure and I would recommend to any Marine or you know what, even Army! Dr. Doncheva was AMAZING! It was my first visit to the dentist in MANY years and, as you can imagine, I was nervous! I was met by the receptionist, Leah, with a big smile and friendly demeanor. Dr. Doncheva was at the desk as well and introduced herself as well. I was at peace within the first 15 seconds of walking through the door. Dr. Doncheva was VERY gentle while she was working. She was extremely honest with me, and she gave she was very honest with what could be going on. We talked about the work I may want in the future, and she was VERY thorough about what each option was and what it would do for me. I learned a lot!
