I loved this place! It was great for the kids and made the experience smooth. I have a 3 year old who's antsy and they were very patient with him and found ways to help him be more cooperative for his first time at the dentist. The location itself was a little hard to find, but you just have to read and follow the signs (inside the multi-level building). My appointment was originally scheduled the day before, but when I had to re-schedule.. they had lots of availability! The staff itself was great! I had issues with having my physical ID and insurance cards on me, but thankfully we were able to get it figured out. The doctor herself was great with my kids and answered all my questions. Avoid this dental practice at all costs! While their dental services are ok (this is why they get one star), they will add all the unnecessary services on top (without any reasonable explanation) which will max out your insurance before they get to the real dental problem. Our son was treated there on/off for about 1.5 years, and we constantly had to argue with them (while in the office) to make sure they are not adding extra services (that were not previously discussed). Also, each time they would confirm that we will not pay anything out of pocket. Now after 2 years, I receive a bill, stating insurance did not fully cover some of the fillings. When questioned, their answer was, it was maxed out and just casually apologized for sending the bill two years later. Seriously? Never again. read more

I had to go into this office two days in a row for my son, and both visits were extremely frustrating and a complete waste of time. On the first visit, he was scheduled for treatment, but when we arrived, the treatment was not provided. Later that day, I received a call apologizing and was told he needed an exam before treatment. While inconvenient, I understood and agreed to come back the next day. During the second visit, the doctor then stated he may need to see a specialist and did not want to work on the tooth until we saw one. We followed that recommendation and saw the specialist, who was confused about why he was referred and confirmed there was nothing wrong with the tooth. Lollipop Doctor advised she would make a small retainer to replace the missing/chipped tooth so my son wouldn't have a visible gap. We were then sent upstairs for a 3D X-ray, but instead of my son receiving treatment, I was pulled aside and given a consultation about braces -- which we were never there for. I requested to speak with an office manager on March 24th and, to this date, I have never received a call back. However, the office continues to call me and text me about starting braces, which is extremely frustrating considering my concerns were never addressed. This entire experience felt disorganized, misleading, and more focused on selling orthodontic treatment than addressing my child's actual dental issue. Due to this experience, I will not be bringing any of my children back to this office. read more

We came in on Tuesday 9/22 and My Son has sensory challenges and special needs and they were able to accommodate him by putting him in the private room area away from people so he did a lot better that way! I was also very thankful for Dr. Mary and the patience she had with him and just a sweet and kind demeanor with no judgment. Reyna, one of the dental assistants was the one who flossed and brushed my toddlers teeth, and she was so engaging and friendly with him. She adapted to his challenges and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this dentist especially if you have kiddos that are special needs! read more

This practice is a cut above! I took both my children here and from start to finish it was so easy and professional.Starting with the receptionist checking us in to the dentist doing the treatment my children needed. I went in alone with 2 children and the staff was so kind to keep me informed every step of the way of what was being done to my other child the next room over. Their whole office is tailored to children, they have coloring,toys, and tv's in the ceiling so they can be entertained while getting their cleanings and treatment. They also provide goodie bags and balloons. The office is clean, professional and great with children. Would highly recommend this place to any parent. read more

We had been coming here for 4 years and seen three different dentists during that time, and while our prior experiences had been fine, this last visit changed everything. He never had a cavity until recently, and he had a small pit cavity on his occlusal baby molar that wasn't even visible on the x-ray. During our appointment on a Wednesday at 11:00 AM, the doctor simply asked, 'Do you have any questions, mom?' without explaining anything about the treatment beforehand. It is impossible to ask informed questions when nothing has been thoroughly explained by the staff or doctor. Because I work in the industry, I am deeply disappointed by the severe lack of communication and transparency. Treatment and anesthesia were added or proceeded with without proper explanation or prior discussion, and consent forms were presented without a clear walkthrough. Communication from the staff was VAGUE, leaving no room for options. While I was luckily able to catch the nitrous addition and have it removed, it makes me truly concerned for patients or parents who don't work in the field and might not know what to look out for. Because of these practices, I will not be returning, and I will no longer be referring anyone here, despite working right down the street. read more

My 2 year old son loved this place. He had a great time getting cleaned and examined. They made the kids feel welcomed and comfortable. My son did not want to leave. They had movies playing, balloons, gave a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a toy car. And to make it even more of a great experience, gave him a notice that says no cavity club that he was so proud of. The dentists are wonderful, patient, and great with kids, which is why we've continued coming back all these years. Unfortunately, the last few visits have been very disappointing because of the dental assistants. They've been consistently rude, unfriendly, and have made us feel like we're an inconvenience. We came here for a dental treatment bc the Tustin location has a longer wait. The dr and assistants here are so sweet and professional. The staff here are a little disorganized though. Remember to review the treatment plan up front to see what procedures and cost before the appt. When we checked out, they were waiting for a while for the cost and I wanted to pay by credit card, but there will be a fee, so end up paying with my debit...I asked for a itemized receipt and the girl told me they don't do it. I said the one tiny receipt will get rejected by my fsa. And she finally put something together...I thought that's a common request for people that have a fsa or hsa account. read more
