Per usual I ordered too much food when I know my stomach is a coward! I dont know how i ended up with a gargantuan pork steamed bun! I thought it was going to be average size, if not I woildnt have ordered that and the fried ones. The dumplings over all, but the chili oil they were floating in was not actually that flavorful. Service was good! If you go for the grocery store, its smaller then the Pan-Asian one but also less crowded! Will be back to try the bahn mi!

I like the food court here better and now there's a banh mi/pho place as well (haven't tried). They have homemade soy milk, frozen homemade dumplings, ducks and cakes for order. Their bakery section is no longer cash only, which is great. 888 seems to have the same range as Pan-Asia but I somehow find more Chinese and Vietnamese foods here. I was looking to make Vietnamese fried flour rice cakes (bánh bột chiên) and I could only find them here. Before Pan-Asia got a makeover, 888 was my go-to. They used to be worse about labeling prices, but they've gotten better. Unfortunately my most recent visit had a couple items on the receipt that were scanned extra times and my partner hadn't noticed. Staff if always nice and helpful otherwise. Always double check your receipts!

I looked up closest Asian grocery so I could get my grandma back feeling well w lots of fresh ingredients that most American stores don't offer. This was a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Filipino grocery so I also got to try new things. The store is very clean, organized and service was really friendly to help me find things I needed. I was also happy to see I could buy things to make my Vietnamese coffee since not a lot of coffee options in the area. They sell house goods, pans, some Asian skincare and Knick knacks you won't find in American stores. I was blessed to find it!

As soon as we walked in, we saw so many different fruits and vegetables that I had never seen before. When you enter, the food court is on the right, and all the food and boba looked really good. If you like sushi, there were some great looking options. As we walked along the back wall, we saw tanks with crabs and eels, which was super cool to see. They also had a lot of trinkets, along with different candy and snacks. The beauty section was nice too, with various products laid out that you could try. The service was good, and everyone seemed busy but helpful. It also looked pretty clean to me. Overall, it was a really nice experience!

They have a good selection of items even though the store isn't that big. I wish they had very ripe plantains for maduros and was surprised when they didn't. They did have green for tostones. I thought the carneceria had a good selection. As usual, you don't feel robbed blind by the prices! And as always, they have someone ready to help you. El Torito is no exception and all the employees were very helpful. 5 stars for that area and selection. The produce is good but again a bit smaller so a little limited. All the produce looked good though! Prices were very reasonable! I wasn't very impressed by the hot bar offerings. My partner did like the chicharrones available. There was nothing I was very interested. They had a shredded chicken dish but it was quite plain. I prefer the one cooked with green olives (that may be Cuban but I'm not sure). No rope vieja. I think it was more limited because they have a taqueria attached to the store with a large menu. I didn't get a chance to try it but I want to go back and give it a try. It looked yummy! The menu looks extensive. Overall, the store was clean and as usual at any Mercado, the Latin/Mexican community who frequent it as customers or work there could not be nicer. I look forward to going back!

It has the ambience of a Taco Bell and the interior probably adds to that. The service wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. I think that the added percentage for using a credit card kills it for me, it seems that it would be smarter to raise prices by 3-4 percent and then offer a cash discount, that way nobody is offended. The food was decent, especially the burrito, it had a great taste to it and it didn't need any doctoring with any extras on it. I will be back again to see if they raise their game.
