    Amazing selections!

Yes, it can seem 'crowded'. Yes, it can seem 'busy'. Yes, you need to come here. It's an amazing array of foods popular in other cultures. There are fruits & vegetables you won't find almost anywhere else in the metro, halal meats, fresh seafood, & more. Many items appear to have been purchased in bulk and the prices for those items can be fantastic. The aisles are arranged generally by food origins, such as Mediterranean, African, and more. You are almost guaranteed to walk out of here with something you don't find elsewhere and see items & wonder how they got to KC. A must-see place!

So many options in the grocery section from all over the world. They also have a great lunch menu with several options including burgers, quesadillas, much more. Make sure you eat before going or your going spend lots of money !

As someone who loves good quality and loves to cook at home, I make sure to shop here! The prices are so cheap, and the produce is fresh as if they just picked it off the tree! I haven't been to Walmart in 2 years thanks to World Fresh Market!

Who would've thought that I would find an amazing grocery store local to Overland Park? What special about this place? You gotta go visit this place to see how amazing this place is every produce grocery deli deserts fruits meats are extremely cheap and fresh. They have a Halal section for anyone who prefers that meat and their freshly cut in front of you. They have multiple types of premade, uncooked kebab meats put into skewers ready to be grilled. They have multiple different demographic compartments like Mexican Indian European Asian groceries you have so many options for fruits and vegetables that I haven't seen even in Whole Foods, extremely unique and an amazing grocery store I would say. The staff is super helpful. They're always running around trying to help the customers making sure they're doing good. The ambience is extremely busy so pick a non-weekend kind of day or the business hours kind of time to cut through some of this crowd, but ask Kerry it gets you still have amazing producing things that you can buy. This is a one stop shop for anyone to go. There is plenty of parking available.

World Fresh Market is so far my favorite local find in 2025. It's been a personal goal to try and shop and support local even more this year so with this grocery store being so close to our house we had to give it a go - and I have to say we've been back several times ever since. To start, they have both a taqueria and mediterranean deli inside. There's also a huge pastry case with tons of conchas and other delights. I legit cannot visit here without coming home with some conchas for the family. My second favorite thing? The homemade salsa. My god, I've come here just for the chilean salsa. I have no idea what is in it and I don't care it's so damn good. What else is there to love? Cheap prices, fresh produce, EGGS. Need I say more? Only downside is it gets packed on the weekend so try and go during the week if you can.

I liked the wonderful variety of international foods, including a great produce area with some unique offerings, entire aisles dedicated to Hispanic (aisles 1 & 2), Asian (aisle 3), Mediterranean (aisle 4) and Indian / Pakistani (aisle 5) foods. I also noticed an extensive meat and seafood area. The prices seemed reasonable, but some of the aisles seemed cramped. They also offered a taco restaurant with $1.99 tacos, a deli with $4.99 custom sandwiches and a new Jerusalem Cafe on the Go. I found the checkout process to be friendly, but somewhat slow on a rather busy day. They had one express lane open, one other lane open and no self-checkout lanes. Overall, I'm thinking 4.5 stars and rounding up for the unique offerings.

This is 5 minutes from home. I come here for unique fresh fruits and vegetables. One that you don't find anywhere else. Love their bakery and desserts as well. Most of the staffs are foreign speaking. They may not understand if you need to ask a question. This store is always busy. Parking lot are full at most times I go. I would avoid shopping on the weekends. Not as crowded on weekdays. I can usually get in and out quickly with a few things.

Goat bone in which is half of pound was full of fat and waste

I was pulled in by the constant pictures of their dubai chocolate cup with adding cheesecake or brownie on top and once inside, I was blown away by the amount of offerings they have that I have trouble finding anywhere else. The bakery items are mouth-watering delicious. The fruits and veggie section is stacked. You can find good and good for you options from all over the world. Smack dab in the middle of the front of the store is the dubai chocolate counter. Do yourself a favor and just order one. Yes, you might think it's expensive. Yes, it is 100% worth it. Just don't be mad when you think about them often.

    Shawarma Wrap

I wanted to try the viral Shawarma wrap today at World Fresh Market. I would give it a 5/10. It was not that big and the meat was dry. The upside is they give you a lot of fries but they are just ok. For the price of $14.99 and a grand total of $16.39, I will not be buying this again. I would rather have Chipotle or Pepper Jax for the price.

I like the food court here better and now there's a banh mi/pho place as well (haven't tried). They have homemade soy milk, frozen homemade dumplings, ducks and cakes for order. Their bakery section is no longer cash only, which is great. 888 seems to have the same range as Pan-Asia but I somehow find more Chinese and Vietnamese foods here. I was looking to make Vietnamese fried flour rice cakes (bánh bột chiên) and I could only find them here. Before Pan-Asia got a makeover, 888 was my go-to. They used to be worse about labeling prices, but they've gotten better. Unfortunately my most recent visit had a couple items on the receipt that were scanned extra times and my partner hadn't noticed. Staff if always nice and helpful otherwise. Always double check your receipts!

Then I saw this quaint Asian store and knew I had to stop. Crossing over the threshold into this store takes you into another world. It is a world filled with new smells, bright colors and unusual items and I loved every minute of this experience. I know absolutely nothing about Asian food or grocery stores. Seriously NOTHING so this is a new adventure for me. There was one worker behind the register and I discovered this is a family store. The father owns two stores- one in Topeka and one in Overland Park. The son runs this store and he could not have been more helpful. He took the time to help me find my items and he explained how of the ingredients could be used. I had a million questions and he did not bat an eye. He was helpful, patient and kind. One thing I noticed is that the son/owner knew most of his customers by name. There seemed to be bevy of repeat customers because they were all familiar with each other. He even remembered what they had purchased on their last trip to the store. There were plenty of dry goods. This store had everything from sweets to plantain chips. Such a wide variety. They !so had a well stocked frozen section, too. They had plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, too. The produce was in the cooler and it all looked very fresh. The prices seemed very reasonable considering that most of the items had to be shipped long distances and this is a small store. I was not unhappy with the prices at all. There was plenty of parking in a big lot outside. This store is in a busy strip mall but parking does not seem to be an issue. There was also easy access to this store from the street. I do not often buy Indian food but if I ever need such products again, I know the exact store to shop. This store is amazing!
