Killer breakfast burrito. Great chili - delicious. Stoked to have found them! Clean restaurant, good service.

Meh, I stopped in over the weekend for a quick bite at lunch...I sat and perused the menuu...Pretty standard Mexican food... however, I had a real hankering for a cup of green chili and a small cheese quesadilla..... I saw they had a dinner size appetizer, but I just wanted a small one. So I ordered a cup of their green chili and asked if they had a lunch quesadilla. She said no but they do have the appetizer quesadilla, thinking I might have missed it, and lo and behold, they brought out the dinner size appetizer quesadilla. Somehow I missed that one in our conversation.....Anyhow, I received those two things and a Coke. The quesadilla was fine, though more than I wanted ( served with guac and sour cream) the chili was pretty substandard. I've made my own green chili for years and consider myself a chili afficianado, and this was more of a dipping chili for my quesadilla. I received the bill for $20 after all was said and done . Oh well, live and learn. read more

The food is tasty but not worth the price. Too expensive for small portions. Burritos were skinny like quesadillas and asada fries were not worth the price can definitely find better asada fries anywhere else. Spent $80 on food for 5 people and everyone was still hungry after. I would go back for the horchata! ($5.25) Hope this helps read more

Very solid Mexican restaurant in the heart of the suburbs. The staff were all so lovely and nice. The horchata and jamaica agua Fresca were both delicious! Overall, you get a lot of food for a great price - we had an app, two drinks, and an entree each and the bill was under $60 (without tip). They have combination section that is very bang for your buck, so I highly recommend ordering from there if you can't decide on one thing. read more

I am sorry to write this review because the staff here is really nice! However the food was really hurting today- I had a gordita which was not great but it was inexpensive so I can let that slide- however the guacamole tasted like someone dumped a whole vat of salt into it! In all fairness, they appeared to be short staffed, however... 1. top shelf marg ($13) was not made with fresh squeezed lime and "mix" was overly sweet. servers were making drinks. Server advised and offered to add a shot. 2/3 of drink left pushed away. 2. Ordered suiza enchiladas (1 each of chicken and beef) and was served 2 chicken. My family and I went to Tu Casa for dinner on a Thursday evening around 6pm, and our experience was less than stellar. First, we waited about 10-12 minutes for someone to even come to our table to give us menus and take drink orders. Second, when we did get our food, it was average at best. It tasted like beans out of a can and did not have anything amazing or delicious. It was basic tortillas, cheese, beans, and rice. Nothing outstanding. Also, the "consommé" that came with the taco dish I ordered was just pan drippings. Don't get me wrong, I greatly value the flavor in pan drippings, but only after the fat has been drained off and the drippings have been clarified. This was mostly fat, which coated my mouth with a greasy texture and had no flavor. The place was EXTREMELY busy, which is puzzling considering their food and service were sub-par. read more

We are SO glad to have stumbled upon THE BEST Mexican food I have EVER had hands down! I asked the nice lady who worked there what her favorite dish was on the menu and she did not disappoint! The sizzling Molcajetes combination bowl she brought out was mindblowing! I have never had a meat seasoned to literal perfection like that before. And then the STUFFED churro + ice cream dessert they brought out to finish the experience was ::chefs kiss:: awe-maz-ing! Even my husbands drink he ordered was superb. Needs a liquor license or needs to allow BYB or Alcohol. My biggest complaint are the chips!!! They need to get better chips. Even my daughter who is 3yrs thought the chips were bad. Everything else was yummy. I love the green hot chili!!! Yum We liked all the dips and salsa was delicious but the chips need to be upgraded. I would pay more to have better tasting chips. I almost want to walk over to King Soopers for better chips. We will be back with our workout bottle full of margs and better tasting chips for all the yummy dips!!! read more

Our party had beef burritos and chicken fajitas with home made corn tortillas, which were both delicious. New spot that is worth a try. In an end cap with some basic ambiance. Pretty busy, and perhaps a bit understaffed. Food wasn't bad, very much enjoyed the salsa. We have dined at Tu Casa three times. Each meal has been exemplary. Their service is personal, prompt, friendly, and spot on. Tu Casa's dishes have all been spectacularly delicious.
