Ahhhhhmazing food! Always great service. This Los Dos Potrillos on San Juan Way has improved over the years. The first time I ate there it was not good. I have decided to give it another chance, so I went back a few years later, and the food and service was much better. They have a big menu with several great meals. One of my favorites is the Los Dos Potrillos burrito. It is a large chicken and bean burrito smothered in their excellent green chile. Although Los Dos Potrillos is a chain, I just had to try it. I'm a fan of small strip malls and this was the perfect location. Every single staff member was so kind and took great care of us. The service was attentive and quick. If you have a large party, this restaurant can surely accommodate. With several large seating areas, Los Dos can certainly get packed, but it was only a little busy when I ate here. Complimentary chips and salsa was good, but the salsa was too spicy for me. Like most Mexican restaurants the menu is several pages long and packed with tons of different options. It was a bit overwhelming for me, but I finally settled on a combination plate. Chicken enchilada, chile relleno, taco, rice and beans. Yeah, that's all one plate and boy was it yummy. Finally a great Mexican food place in Colorado!! I'm originally from Nor Cal and since moving here I have been dying for good Mexican food! This place is very buzzy which is nice! The restaurant is clean and everyone who works here is very friendly. The menu has so much to choose from. I'm currently drooling writing this review thinking of the food. I ordered the chili rellano and a enchilada, it was so delicious and mouth watering. One thing I would like to say is normally after eating Mexican food I feel sick(bloated sick). This place has gone down hill real fast. Used to be one of our favorite restaurants but I don't think I can bring myself to go back again. Service has become terrible, had to wait 15 mins to watch the server help the 2 couples who came in after us, then ignore us again when I asked if we could order. The Service: for me this is the most essential part of a great experience, for a Sunday evening the waiters looked annoyed at any request our table had. Perhaps they had a long day, I get it; but our party did not feel welcomed. The food: the food was a solid 6/10. There was no true flavor to the dishes we ordered and we didn't get that wow factor that would make any person come back. The food needed more salt, seasonings. The best thing we ate was the Guacamole, that was spot on delicious.
