The servers are super nice. They always remember us and actually remember that I don't like cilantro and onions, but that my husband does. The ambiance is casual. I didn't take away a star, but the children begging can be a problem. One girl snuck up behind me and purposely coughed all over my food. I packed my tacos for her, but told her to ask politely if she's hungry (she looks very well fed and groomed). We stopped going for a while after that encounter, but we like the tacos. I ordered 4 cochinita pibil tacos, which is the only thing on the menu. Cochinita Pibil is a traditional Mexican dish that is slow roasted pulled pork. They pull the tortillas off the griddle and put them into this enormous pan of the pibil to give them a little bit of the juice and glisten from the pork juice. They then STUFF each taco, roll them up, and hand them to you on a plastic plate. I topped them off with the salsa verde and dug into them right outside. These babies actually exceeded my expectations. I was FLOATIN. Pork juice leaking out on every bite with flavor that can only be obtained through that traditional slow roast. Everything was good, especially the beef tongue tomato stew which was super flavorful. The beef tongue was perfectly tender and so yummy with the broth. It was a bit odd to eat this in tacos though considering there was so much sauce but good by itself as well. The only dish I didn't like was the bone marrow sopes which this time around felt much smaller than when I had it last. There was barely any escamole which we added on and the bone marrow pieces were so small. While it was one of my favorites the last time I visited, I wouldn't get it again.

It even was a struggle to eat four of them, which is what my final tally was. My partner fortunately ate two of them, yet wouldn't budge in eating another when I offered.
