Went there for prom nails, my pedicure was great but when I got my manicure done by Lena, my nails were bulky and my gems on my finger were not organized at all and a few nails were shorter than the rest. $112.00 later I was not satisfied and I had acrylic nail coming off of my hand nowhere near my nails like glue. i got my nails done yesterday. the lady there was very rude by giving me weird looks. my acrylic nails were put on poorly and when she put on the nail polish, you could still see the nail a little bit. i would not recommend this place for anyone that wants acrylic nails. read more

My sister and I came in for pedis on a Saturday at 1. Got right in with no wait and got awesome treatment. We both got the Organic Spa Pedicure Set. I got lavender mint and my sister got lemongrass green tea and they were so relaxing! The girls gave us full leg massages and hot towel wraps, then after that we got full arm and hand massages. I received a pedicure from Tu Nails a few months back. Within a few weeks, I noticed pain, redness, and swelling around my two big toes. I applied antibiotic cream to help with a fungal infection and my toes started healing within two weeks. Since that time, however, my toe nails stopped growing and turned a yellowish color. Today, I finally went to the podiatrist to find out what was happening and he said that we need to remove both nails! He said the infection caused the nails to "die" and the only way for them to grow back is to remove the damaged nails. This all started because of an infection I got after visiting Tu Nails. I have been going to TU Nails for several years but feel like it is going downhill. My daughter got a fungal infection on her finger nail after her manicure, which required antibiotics. Even with an appointment, we had to wait to get in. I'm very disappointed as this used to be my favorite place to go but need to start looking for somewhere new. read more

This place is a great choice for all of your nail services. Mike the owner is great and will always remember your name if you come back. They always do a great job on both nails and pedis and I'm never disappointed. I sometimes go to other salons close to my work for convenience and it's never the same quality I get from Tu. I got a really bad botched job this week at another salon and will be heading to Tu for a redo. Tu Nails was really a nice surprise!! My daughter and I both had gel manis - and we both were very happy with them. Lucy and Lisa were very nice and did a wonderful job on our nails. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The salon is clean and nicely decorated. The only reason I didn't give Tu Nails a 5-star is that it is a bit crowded (lots of stations) but that's no big drawback. A definite "go back" place. read more

This is a really nice looking place. I went here for a manicure and pedicure last week. I don't like the gel polish and the nail technician kept trying to talk me into it, I kept saying no thank you. It was an annoyance that I could handle. She was shaving the calluses on my feet quite aggressively and I brushed it off because I'll be the first to admit that I don't take care of my feet very well. Anyway, when I put my shoes on there were some sore spots on my feet. I didn't look at those spots until I got home and my feet were bleeding and very obviously damaged from the shaving. I would not go back here and I don't know if she did it knowingly or not, but she said she's been at this work for over 10 years and I would think she should know when someone's foot is being ripped open or not. read more

I made an appointment for a manicure, arrived early, and was ignored until well past my appt time while regulars were helped ahead of me (even the one who said she didn't have an appt but wanted a quick mani). The nail technician didn't say a word to me during the entire manicure, until the end when she made sure I had cash for a tip. I had to file my nails when I got home because the ends were rough from her filing, and she got polish under my nails which felt gross. I wanted to like this place, but I will not go back. Oh, and I was not told the price of my manicure until it was over, and it was overpriced for the experience. read more

Very, very nice ambiance. Mike is a ball of friendly energy and makes everyone feel welcome. Both my mani and pedi techs checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the work. Loved the selection of pedicures, prices range from medium to high. The pedi massage chair is worth the trip alone! Note: if you have a lot of calluses you may want to do some prep work on them. They did not have the usual callus-busting gel or foot file, so my feet were a but rough on the bottom. The tech did tell me she would do the best she could, and I trust she did but I know for next time to soak for a while before they start (and to go more often, it had been a while). Polish job on my hands was average, just make sure you understand pricing of your requests. Overall, on the expensive end but I think worth it, especially for the pedis. I like that they also offer eyebrow waxing. Will definitely go back. read more
