I went back into have them removed. The woman drilled my nails down so far I can see through them. They are paper thin. I had my eyebrows tinted and they had two people work on them. The color was barely on and the artist never asked how dark I wanted them. She was busy doing nails at the same time. She basically had her friend take over who did not know what she was doing. I got home and my family could not tell I had them done. I feel badly taken advantage of because I tip these people so well and I guess I need to move on.

On April 6, I decided to do a walk-in with Kevin to do my pedicure as he is always the one to do it. I'm not sure if Kevin was having a bad day but he did not provide me with great service. I was letting him know that I was in happy with the way polished looks as it wasn't fully covering my toenail which I had a toenail that has some discoloring to it, so it was really important that that was covered, and there were parts of the nail that wasn't covered. Kevin told me that I was being picky when ultimately I just wanted to ensure that my nails had for coverage, so he painted my nails and my skin, which gave it a very unpolished look that I was unhappy with and then I noticed that the acrylic on my toenails are very thick and so I also mentioned about that. I guess Kevin must've got irritated. He asked another nail tech to finish my nails, cause he was going on break and to add to that he didn't fully complete my full pedicure and I left out of that shop. Let's just say with my pedicure halfway finished and I paid $125 just to end up with them taking the polish/acrylic off of my toes. There was no accommodation, no apologizing and they pretty much just took my money. I will say that I will never return to this nail salon again.

Not only did she insist on charging the full amount for a missed session due to an emergency, but she also had the front desk tell me she would have "no availability for the next few weeks"--a petty, punitive gesture toward a loyal customer. While businesses have rules, they also require basic human understanding and professional flexibility for returning clients. Valerie chose a one-time penalty over long-term customer loyalty. I will not be returning to this salon, and I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you value a stylist who treats clients with mutual respect and professionalism.
