The gel manicure stayed (no extra for temperature changing gel - LOVE IT), the pedicure was smudge, bummer but I get it (this was my bad for not checking). Minus one star for the pedicure - I am bummed that I didn't get help with the big toe hang-nail (come on ladies, I can't be the only one that LOVES getting help with this) and for the push in upselling. LOVEEEE THIS PLACE! Found this little nail salon on Groupon but was hesitant as it was a little far from where I lived. But because of the great prices, my coworker and I decided to try it out on a Friday afternoon - which surprisingly was not busy! I got a gel manicure and spa pedicure for $49 and my coworker got a gel manicure for $25. And for Minnesota, I believe both were an AWESOME DEAL! Side note*** I didn't buy the Groupon because when I called to make the appointments, they suggested I don't and just pay them directly - not sure why but because it was the same price as the Groupon price, I didn't see a problem. I've gone here 3 times now, once with an appointment and twice just as a walk in, they have always seem to be super accommodating to walk ins. They do a great job and my nails last a long time! Cons: some of the nail techs have limited English skills so not much conversation happens. My last time in was for a deluxe pedi and I was there for like 1.5hours. I used a groupon to get a basic mani & pedi and overall I wasn't thrilled about my experience. It took 2 hours and you can see the layers of polish on every finger. Also my toes are all smudged because they brushed some kind of oil on my toenails and wrapped saran wrap over them right before I left. My toenails were already dry from sitting with them in the uv light for over an hour while they did my manicure and would have been just fine without that extra step of oil and Saran Wrap in my opinion. They also tried to up sell me to gel at least 4 times. If I wanted gel I would have asked for it or at least agreed the first time. read more

I arrived on time and it was pretty busy, but they greeted me right away, had me pick out a color and I was seated. Lucky did my nails. He was very friendly, we chatted about the Vikings, and he had good attention to detail. The manicure included a back massage and a hand massage with exfoliation, hot stones, and lotion. It was all very nice! When others entered the salon, they too were promptly greeted. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the quality of the work. They even give you a coupon for $5 off your next $30 purchase. I definitely recommend this place over some other salons I have been to because they are clean, friendly, and usually being busy is a good sign! read more

I made the mistake of purchasing the Groupon coupon for what seemed like a decent deal on a gel manicure and a pedicure. I called this morning and set up an appointment for 4:00. They even took my name and number, as if they were jotting down this information in some sort of book that keeps track of these things. However, when I arrived at 4:00 on the dot, the place was PACKED. I told the greeter (who was a 13 or so year old boy, who appeared bewildered at the site of having so many people in the salon) that I had an appointment for the mani-pedi. He handed me a diet coke (best part of this review, spolier alert!) and the gel colors. I asked him about the wait and was told 15-20 minutes. A half an hour later, two gentlemen walked in to get pedicures. The boy approached me again and asked if I was having a manicure done. I responded with - "Yes, I had an appointment at 4:00 for a manicure and a pedicure." The boy asked if I also wanted a pedicure, and started eyeing up the two pedicure chairs that had opened up. He then told me that I could have a seat at a manicure station, where no one had worked since I arrived. It was clear that they had no intention of honoring my appointment time, and that I was being moved simply so I would appear less irritated when they took the walk-ins before me. Nope. I saw the group on for this place and I live less than a mile from here and thought hey its on a group on give them a try despite the other review and WOW I am so glad I did. I choose the deluxe Mani gel no chip and the express pedi and got such a great treatment on both my feet and my hands and defiantly will go back. Express pedi still includes making sure your feet look and feel great and a calf massage with hot stones! I got an Amazon Local deal for a gel manicure and express pedicure for $30.00 - wow! I received wonderful service, though the water for the pedicure was a little cold. I got a hot stone massage during the pedicure and lots of warm towels for my feet. The gel manicure went really well. I had Kim and she was very meticulous with making sure my manicure was absolutely flawless. She was very sweet and while my toe and finger nails were drying she rubbed my shoulders - BONUS! She did a wonderful job on both sets of nails and since it's the holiday season she gave me a gift! Wish I could give this place a 0! The worst nail experience I have ever had! Went in and asked for SIMPLE short coffin shaped, baby pink nails. The lady who did them made them soooo thick and bubbly, she had to re do them. The second time she did them they were the same. After three hours of this, I told her to take them off. She took them off files my nails down to the skin, left cuts all over my fingers and cuticles, even cut the side of my pinky! When they were talking to each other the lady came over and basically told me it's my fault it is wrong, I'm too picky, I don't know what i want and I needed to go somewhere else because they won't get better. ((Yes they will. I have never had nails that awful!)). I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. I'll include a picture of the nails I wanted as well as how bad they messed up my hands! Very typical nail salon for the Twin Cities - strange, nonsensical decor that feels extremely lazy and many employees working at the same time. While everyone in this place was very friendly (and this is something I am hesitant to say), they need to have one person on staff who at least speaks basic English/knows some key customer service phrases. I had no idea what was going on or what anyone was saying the entire time I was in there. I realize that's a very stereotypical nail salon experience, but even trying my hardest to be polite and discern at least a few comprehensible words was useless. On top of that, my $30 pedicure was worth maybe $12. I left with one coat of polish on my toes and heels that were still dry and cracked. Absolutely will not return. read more

I arrived 10 minutes after my originally scheduled appointment- due to traffic. I got a pedicure and mani at the same time- which I don't mind but the whole thing was so rushed and not relaxing. Other techs were pulling up rugs and doing other closing duties. Regular closing is 7:30 but they wanted to leave early. The lights were off in the shop before I even got to my car at 7:00. My gel nails aren't holding up- ridges around my cuticles are rough and peeling up. I know this is a first world issue but I would've preferred that they rescheduled my appointment if they wanted to leave early. I won't be back. read more

The pedicure seem sanitary as well as they use plastic lining unlike some of the other places I've tried. The ladies are very friendly and nice as well.
