What a cute little shop! Super compact but chalk full of amazing kitchen items! They have a lovely selection of diverse cooking supplies! I.e. Japanese tea pots, Italian pizza boards, French linens, and all sorts of cookbooks and cookery! Definitely worth your time if your in the neighborhood!!

this is the only image I could find of their exterior -- none of my photos were light enough to see....

Took forever to find an existing Yelp page for this place to write a review because of the strange name. Tu-tu-tu is not exactly how it reads on their sign. tu . tu . tu would be closer.... it's from their address at 222 NW Coast St. (get it? 2=tu..haha) Anyway.... Very cool kitchen shop I'd hate to be responsible for keeping dusted -- shelves and tables and wall brackets full of gadgets, pots, tools, linens, and kitchen wonders. 2 months ago when I gave up on finding my corkscrew -- I wish I'd known they had just the rabbit-ear corkscrew I was looking for .... too late. And two weeks ago, when I ruined my 20-year-old Le Creuset soup pot -- I wish I'd known there was a place just down the road to find a new one. But again... too late. tu-months tu-weeks tu-late. Ah well. Lots of baking pans and silicone gadgetry here -- lots of items in the cupcake theme -- and paella pans in several sizes. Cookbooks, BBQ tools, picnic ware and dinnerware -- interesting ceramic, and a wall display of the greenest things you need to make your kitchen fit right into that re-furbish, re-use, re-purpose, re-cycle world of the Pacific Northwest. In general, the prices I saw were full retail -- which is not surprising considering its location among the eateries and gift shops of Nye Beach. This is a foodie browser's shop with lots to see -- and many things I'd never seen before. Worth the browsing -- did I mention how cute the little "cottage" is? Great building and location for this kind of place. ! Someone asked why I docked a star -- I've been to similar kitchen shops in Taos, San Francisco, Ft. Worth, and New Orleans (in similarly located shops that play to visitors) -- and all those added the unique art/style of their respective locations -- especially pottery and kitchen art -- that make their items memorable associations to the area in question. There are so many wonderful ceramic and glass artists on the Oregon Coast (and painters, printers etc.) that it could boost this shop easily into the 5 star and 5+ star category to have some representative pieces available here. To make a "coastal" kitchen -- it might be advantageous to keep other seafood-prep and local flavor items. -- things that would boost this to a MUST VISIT spot, as opposed to just a well stocked kitchen shop. It is such a clever location and well-designed shop.... 4 Stars is well above average..... Just a short climb (about 4 car lengths) south up the sidewalk/hill from Nana's Irish Pub and Panini Bakery/Pizza!

Fun store to go through. Full of gadgets and things you didn't know you needed. Prices were also reasonable.

I'm a single mom of three with a modest home. Our house is an investment our future. Interviewed…read moreand got quotes from 3 other contractors.....Tad Oliphant and Co. was the one that I chose. Some were more expensive and some were less. I chose the right one. It's a small company so I never had to search for the owner if I had questions, he was right there. He and his crew were professional, timely, honest and easy to work with. When any change needed to be made or a problem arose, he was quick to find solution and happy to work with me. I've hired him for a number of projects now (fixing dry rot, sky light installation, window trim, and exterior house paint) and trust his work and his ethics. I have family and friends in the industry and know how hard it can be to find a good contractor. The best part is the day he and his crew went the extra mile for me. I, in an effort to save money on a repairman, chose to replace the belt on my drier myself. All went well until I figured out that I didn't have the strength to stretch it over a certain spot. They saw me under the drier, on the floor of my garage, with parts scattered from one end to the other and, without asking, jumped right in. The belt was a nightmare but they took an hour plus out of their day to help me. If you're looking for a honest, hard working, and ethical contractor....this is your guy. Can't thank them enough.

Tad runs a great company. Quality work, good carpenters who come to work ready to work . They…read morecomplete the job, are polite, and considerate of neighbors. Tad is a man of integrity , charges a fair price for his work and when the job is finished he makes sure his customers are satisfied . I highly recommend Oliphant Construction.
